Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

26: Li Yaxin, Guan Ya: Zhang Yuanhang is a hidden boss???Brothers, I just got news that the top student in this year’s graduation assessment can be assigned to work at the Red Star Research Base in the Capital!

Just then, a piece of news exploded in the class group of Zhang Yuanhang and his classmates.

”Damn, where did that news come from?”

”Is it real or fake? It’s not fake news like the last time about the school beauty Li Yaxin dating, is it?”

”It’s highly unlikely. How could a research base in the Capital come to our school?”

... The research bases in the Capital receive substantial project research funding every year.

Therefore, these research bases have excellent equipment and staff benefits. Which of these students doesn’t want to work at a research base in the Capital after graduation?

Any research base would do.

However, there are many monks and little meat; a great many graduates want to get in every year, and the competition is fierce. Shancheng University of Science and Technology hasn’t had any graduates enter a Capital research base for several years.

This news instantly made everyone feel it was extremely fake.

However, the students’ guesses were quite the opposite; this was not a scam but the real deal.

All of this can’t help but bring up a sly person, Academician Zhao.

Because he is from the Red Star Research Base, he came up with this idea.

So, he secretly made a phone call to the person in charge of his base. And that’s how this news came about.

However, Academician Zhao, with all his calculations, didn’t account for the fact that Zhang Yuanhang was no longer planning to participate in this graduation design assessment. He just wanted to finish his graduation documents and leave directly.

Principal Chu originally planned to announce it when the assessment officially began, but the news leaked.

Although some people verbally expressed disbelief, their bodies were very honest. They immediately took out their phones and called the Principal’s hotline.

”Where did these children get this news?”

Principal Chu was bewildered at this moment, scratching the back of his head. He clearly remembered not telling anyone!

”Forget it, forget it. Since it’s leaked, let’s just announce it. It’ll give these children some motivation.”

Principal Chu immediately had someone announce the news.

”Ya Xin, Ya Xin, quickly look at the news released by the school.”

”The top student in this assessment can enter the Red Star Research Base to work!”

Guan Ya knew she didn’t have that level of skill, but her best friend Li Yaxin did.

Li Yaxin’s grades had always been at the forefront.

”Mhm, mhm.”

Li Yaxin also happily looked at the news. After her initial joy, a hint of worry appeared on her face. Shancheng University of Science and Technology did have some strength, after all.

Among them, some students were not weaker than Li Yaxin. It was hard to say who would win first place.

”Ya Xin, believe in yourself. Your graduation project design is so excellent this time; it can completely crush everyone and take first place.”

”If you become successful in the future, don’t forget me, your good friend. You must treat me to hotpot every day.”

Guan Ya saw the worry in her best friend’s eyes and said playfully.

”Hahaha, okay, okay.”

”If you turn into a big fat pig by then, don’t blame me.”

Li Yaxin covered her mouth and laughed.

”Oh, Ya Xin, you actually called me a pig! Today, let this pig ’hog’ you, this big cabbage!”

Li Yaxin and Guan Ya immediately started playfully wrestling.

After the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, the two lay exhausted on the bed.

”I’m so hungry, Ya Xin, let’s go to the cafeteria to eat.”

Guan Ya rubbed her stomach and turned to look at Li Yaxin. Li Yaxin nodded; she was indeed hungry after playing around for a while.

Just as the two walked out of the dormitory towards the cafeteria, the motorcade protecting Zhang Yuanhang arrived at Shancheng University of Science and Technology.

”Quick, open the gate.”

The captain of the security team at the entrance of Shancheng University of Science and Technology, seeing the spectacle before him, quickly opened the school gate.

With traffic police outriders leading the way, the security captain was sure that some important leader had come to inspect the school, so he secretly sent a message to Principal Chu of Shancheng University of Science and Technology.

”Damn, which big shot is this?”

”Is today some special day? This person is not simple!”

”If I had half this many people accompanying me when I travel, that would be great.”

”Don’t be afraid, child. When you die, there will definitely be more people at your funeral than this.”

”Go to hell!”

... The students at the school gate, watching two or three dozen cars slowly enter the school, all became curious.

”Damn, could it be the newly appointed Director of the Education Bureau?”

At this moment, Principal Chu, who had received the message, scrambled out of his office. In his haste, Principal Chu didn’t notice that the floor had just been mopped by the cleaning staff when he rushed out of the main office building.

”Ouch!”

Principal Chu stepped on the shining floor, immediately lost his balance, and fell directly to the ground.

”Principal Chu, are you alright?”

Just then, Li Yaxin and Guan Ya happened to pass by. Seeing their school’s Principal fall, they immediately jogged over and helped Principal Chu up.

”Principal Chu, let us take you to the infirmary.”

”You look so pale!”

Li Yaxin looked at Principal Chu, whose forehead was covered in cold sweat and whose face had turned pale, and felt very worried for a moment.

He didn’t get seriously hurt, did he???

”No, no, no, thank you, two students.”

Principal Chu waved his hand. Now that the suspected Director of the Education Bureau had arrived, he had no mind to go to the infirmary.

Just then, the outriders came through.

”Huh, this... this doesn’t look like the Director of the Education Bureau?”

Principal Chu looked at the long motorcade. If someone said this was China’s Top Leader, Principal Chu wouldn’t even doubt it.

Li Yaxin and Guan Ya exchanged glances, thinking to themselves: So a big shot has arrived. No wonder Principal Chu didn’t want to go to the infirmary at this time.

At this moment, the motorcade stopped. Zhang Yuanhang was about to open the door and get out when Lin Yun pulled him back.

”Little Zhang, wait until they confirm there’s no danger here, then you can get out.”

Colonel Lin Yun said with a smile.

”Uh, okay.”

Zhang Yuanhang was stunned for a moment, still a little unaccustomed. Outside the car, Principal Chu, Li Yaxin, and Guan Ya stood foolishly in place.

Because they saw a group of fully armed soldiers get out of the motorcade, securing the area, and snipers going to the tall buildings.

”Principal, did something big happen at our school?”

”Are they here for counter-terrorism?”

Guan Ya swallowed and looked at Principal Chu beside her.

”I don’t know either!”

Principal Chu shook his head. He hadn’t received any news, but now he could only cooperate with these soldiers.

”Colonel Lin Yun, it’s safe outside.”

Upon receiving the news, Colonel Lin Yun signaled that Zhang Yuanhang could safely get out of the car.

”Okay.”

Zhang Yuanhang opened the car door and stepped out of the bulletproof vehicle.

”Zhang Yuanhang!!!”

Li Yaxin and Guan Ya’s jaws almost dropped. They had originally thought that a big leader, someone who often appeared on TV, would step out of the car.

But they never expected it to be Zhang Yuanhang.

”Zhang Yuanhang, why does that name sound a bit familiar?”

Principal Chu felt as if he had seen that name somewhere before, but he couldn’t recall it at the moment.
