Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

10: Three academicians compete for Zhang Yuanhang”Colonel Lin Yun, are you alright? You were truly amazing just now. Those maneuvers you performed while piloting the mech completely dazzled us!”

At this moment, several soldiers quickly ran over. Seeing Lin Yun throwing up, they gently patted his back.

Their eyes were filled with admiration.

Lin Yun awkwardly looked up at them, waved his hand, and said, ”You all go do your own work.”

After speaking, Lin Yun quickly fled and came to Zhang Yuanhang and the others.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, what happened to the mech just now?”

”Why did it suddenly lose control? I almost threw up my bile just now.”

Lin Yun asked, thinking to himself: Could there be a problem with the mech? Fortunately, he didn’t let Zhang Yuanhang go up, otherwise, if something unexpected really happened, it would be over.

Academician Li Bing and the other two covered their mouths and smiled, looking at Lin Yun.

”No, no, you accidentally pressed the mech’s automatic demonstration just now.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a mischievous smile. Since Lin Yun didn’t understand, Zhang Yuanhang directly attributed the situation to himself.

”Ah! Is that so???”

Lin Yun looked at Everyone smiling at him and felt something was off, but he didn’t know what the problem was.

He could only look at Everyone with a mix of belief and doubt.

”Colonel Lin Yun, please report the situation here.”

”After our observation, Comrade Xiao Zhang’s mech is excellent!”

”Assessment passed.”

The three Academicians said in unison.

Zhang Yuanhang was very calm about this. He knew from the beginning that the purpose of these three Academicians coming was to evaluate his mech, so Zhang Yuanhang had just demonstrated the mech’s power in front of Everyone.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, let’s hand the mech over to the military for now. You come with me to our base first.”

Academician Li Bing eagerly pulled Zhang Yuanhang’s hand, ready to leave. He had just seen Academician Wu and Academician Zhao looking at Zhang Yuanhang like hungry wolves.

He couldn’t let those two snatch Zhang Yuanhang away!

”Hey, wait, wait.”

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, why don’t you come to our base? Our base has many young people who like humanoid mechs.”

”Maybe you all can spark some new ideas then!”

Academician Zhao, seeing that Academician Li Bing was about to drag Zhang Yuanhang away, jumped directly in front and spread his arms, blocking Everyone’s path.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, come to our base. You are still single, aren’t you?”

”Our base has many single beauties. Come to our base, and your single problem will be solved in minutes.”

Academician Wu directly used a honey trap.

Academician Li Bing and Academician Zhao looked at Academician Wu with disdain. Everyone was a cultured person, how could they resort to such a crude tactic as a honey trap?

Academician Wu completely ignored the disdainful looks from Academician Li Bing and Academician Zhao, his eyes fixed on Zhang Yuanhang. As long as he could poach this great treasure, Zhang Yuanhang,

let alone a honey trap, he would even go so far as to offer himself.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, our base also has many beauties.”

Academician Li Bing and Academician Zhao said in unison. Academician Wu looked at Academician Li Bing and the other with surprise, thinking, ’Weren’t you two just despising me? Why are you following my example now!!!’

The professors nearby looked enviously at Zhang Yuanhang, who was being fought over by three parties. Even if their ancestral graves were on fire, they wouldn’t be fought over by three Academicians like this!

”Come to our base!”

”Come to our place.”

”You two stop talking, Comrade Xiao Zhang must come to our base!”

Their eyes gradually turned red. If it weren’t for the professors nearby seeing the situation was bad and pulling them apart, the three would have started fighting in front of Everyone.

”Everyone, Everyone, I’ll go with Academician Li Bing to their base first.”

”Academician Li Bing’s project clearly needs me more!”

Zhang Yuanhang spoke at this moment. Currently, some lawless elements online were constantly badmouthing the Domestic Large Aircraft Project led by Academician Li Bing.

This made Zhang Yuanhang very uncomfortable. Now that he had a chance to slap them in the face, Zhang Yuanhang wouldn’t miss this opportunity.

Academician Wu and Academician Zhao stopped when they heard Zhang Yuanhang’s words, looked at Academician Li Bing, and then nodded.

Indeed, Academician Li Bing’s project currently needed Zhang Yuanhang’s help more. After all, the reason Academician Li Bing came to Shancheng to recuperate this time was because he was angered by people online.

”Alright, but Comrade Xiao Zhang, you must come to our base later!”

Academician Wu and Academician Zhao looked at Zhang Yuanhang reluctantly.

Academician Li Bing looked as if he had won a great victory, his entire face beaming with smiles.

”Academician Li Bing, let’s go!”

Zhang Yuanhang was eager to go and make a big splash.

He took one step and instantly stopped. Everyone looked at Zhang Yuanhang with confusion.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, what’s wrong?”

”Don’t worry about your mech. Lin Yun and the others will take it to a suitable place to be guarded by specialized personnel. There won’t be any problems.”

”I believe Academician Wu and Academician Zhao will definitely be guarding it day and night as well.”

Academician Li Bing looked at Zhang Yuanhang nervously, fearing that Zhang Yuanhang would say he regretted it.

Academician Wu and Academician Zhao nodded in agreement. They now wished they could dismantle the mech for research.

”That’s right, Comrade Xiao Zhang, don’t worry. I will also personally lead people to guard the mech.”

”No one will be allowed to touch the mech.”

Lin Yun also patted his chest, assuring Zhang Yuanhang.

”I believe the Motherland can keep my mech safe.”

”That’s not what I’m worried about. I just remembered that our school’s graduation project assessment is in a few days.”

Zhang Yuanhang said slowly at this moment. If he didn’t participate in the graduation project assessment, he wouldn’t get his diploma.

If his parents knew he couldn’t graduate this year, his grandmother would be heartbroken!

Thinking of this, Zhang Yuanhang wondered whether he should go to the graduation assessment first before helping Academician Li Bing.

”I thought it was a big deal. Comrade Xiao Zhang, don’t worry. I’ll inform your school later and tell them not to hold that graduation project assessment for now.”

”Wait until you’re done before starting.”

Lin Yun said.

”Wouldn’t that be too much?”

Zhang Yuanhang said sheepishly. Thinking that his classmates wouldn’t be able to graduate on time because of him, Zhang Yuanhang felt a little uneasy.

”Don’t worry, it’s no big deal.”

Lin Yun waved his hand. Other schools would beg for such a thing, and he didn’t believe Zhang Yuanhang’s school would refuse.

”Alright!”

Since that was the case, Zhang Yuanhang had nothing more to say.

He turned around and boarded the departing helicopter with Academician Li Bing, then left under the escort of four fighter jets and eight armed helicopters, flying towards the distant base.

With Zhang Yuanhang’s departure, Academician Wu and Academician Zhao sparked a different kind of fire again.

”Old Wu, I think this mech needs to be put in our base.”

”After all, our base is engaged in mechanical research. The mech is more important to us.”

Academician Zhao said with a smile.

”No, no, this mech uses a large number of new materials and should be moved to our base.”

”Once we understand it, it will be a huge step forward for our Motherland’s materials science!”

Academician Wu would not let go.

Seeing the two Academicians about to start again, Lin Yun helplessly rubbed his forehead.
