Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

16: Turning a tank into molten iron in three secondsWhat kind of weapon was built?

Leader Jia continued to ask.

At this moment, logistics personnel informed them that they had found a tank that was about to be decommissioned and had driven it to the firing range.

Leader, I’m going to pilot the mech. I won’t chat with you anymore.

You’ll know what kind of weapon it is in a bit.

Lin Yun excitedly took off his jacket, and under the envious gazes of the crowd, he took out a tablet and remotely controlled the mech to open its cockpit.

I envy Colonel Lin Yun!

I’m willing to trade ten years of my brother’s life for one chance to pilot a mech.

This mech, holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!

...Watching the mech slowly walk out of the hangar under Lin Yun’s control, Everyone was momentarily at a loss for words, only able to repeatedly exclaim ’holy crap, holy crap’.

Everyone followed the mech to the firing range, where the logistics personnel had parked the tank in the distance.

Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, how do you activate the Laser Cannon on this mech?

Lin Yun looked at the control screen inside the cockpit with a bewildered expression.

How would we know that?

Hearing the electronic voice from the mech, Academician Wu and Academician Zhao were also bewildered; they had only found the design blueprints, not a user manual.

No way, everything is ready, but we can’t figure out how to activate the Laser Cannon!

Lin Yun sat in the cockpit, utterly depressed.

Ding!

At this moment, the mech’s main computer detected Lin Yun’s unusual state, so it proactively spoke up.

Do you want to enter auxiliary driving mode???

The electronic voice made Lin Yun’s eyes light up.

Oh my, how could I forget that this mech is highly automated!

Lin Yun held his forehead and complained to himself.

Activate auxiliary driving mode, and also open the Laser Cannon weapon.

Lin Yun said.

Understood!

The main computer immediately activated the Laser Cannon weapon for Lin Yun.

At this moment, just when Leader Jia, Academician Wu, and Academician Zhao thought this experiment would end abruptly due to the inability to activate the mech’s weapon...

The two Laser Cannons hidden under the mech’s shoulders unfolded.

They’re out, they’re out!

Two Laser Cannons, how exciting.

Quickly check the cameras; we need to record this clearly later.

...The researchers nearby quickly set up the high-speed cameras.

Laser Cannon!

I hope that little guy’s Laser Cannon can bring an unexpected surprise.

Leader Jia stood with his hands behind his back, looking at the two Laser Cannons on the mech’s shoulders. He wasn’t very optimistic about Laser Cannons in the military at the moment.

Because Laser Cannons are affected by airborne dust, their effective range is greatly reduced, and they are completely unusable in foggy weather.

Therefore, military experts are not optimistic about Laser Cannons when there hasn’t been any major breakthrough in laser technology.

However, China needs the current Laser Cannons, not only to shut up the critics but also to greatly assist China’s laser technology field, after all, no one can predict the future position of Laser Cannons on the battlefield.

Lin Yun, first use one Laser Cannon to attack the tank.

Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, and others said.

Okay!

Lin Yun pressed the fire button for one Laser Cannon, and the right Laser Cannon instantly emitted a blue light. The next moment, the tank at the firing range immediately caught fire.

Two twenty-centimeter holes appeared on the tank.

The tank was burned through!

Stop quickly.

The researcher in charge of the high-speed camera shouted, and the spotter at the firing range hadn’t even reacted yet.

Holy crap!

Lin Yun immediately stopped when he saw this.

How long did it take to burn through?

Leader Jia rushed to the high-speed camera and asked.

Although this tank was about to be decommissioned, it was still a main battle tank! And the Laser Cannon shot it from the front.

The front is where the tank’s armor is thickest; some anti-tank missiles can’t even destroy a tank from the front.

0.001 seconds!

Everyone gasped; in this short amount of time, it could be said that the laser instantly burned through the tank’s armor upon contact.

This is too terrifying!

If anyone dared to say that Laser Cannons were ineffective in front of Leader Jia now, he would surely argue back.

This is too effective!

Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, is the power of the Laser Cannon really that great?

At this moment, a hint of worry arose in Leader Jia. One should know that Eagle-land’s Laser Cannons had already been deployed to their navy. If their power was this great, it would be a huge threat to China’s navy!!!

No, no, no, it’s not that Laser Cannons are that powerful.

It’s that the Laser Cannon made by Comrade Xiao Zhang is that powerful.

Academician Wu swallowed.

Our China has achieved a corner overtake in the laser field!

Academician Zhao said.

Hearing the words of Academician Wu and Academician Zhao, Leader Jia breathed a sigh of relief.

He was scared to death just now; he thought all Laser Cannons had such great power, but it turned out to be only the Laser Cannon made by that young man that was so powerful.

Please send me a copy of this video; I need to report it.

Let the leaders see it.

Leader Jia felt that this Laser Cannon could greatly enhance the strength of the Chinese military.

Okay, okay.

The researcher nearby was about to copy the video for Leader Jia.

Leader, wait a moment. Let me go all out so the leaders above can witness the full power of the Laser Cannon made by Xiao Zhang.

Lin Yun said at this moment, and Leader Jia nodded upon hearing him.

At this moment, Lin Yun held down the fire button.

With both Laser Cannons firing at full power, in less than three seconds, the tank that was just there instantly melted, turning into a puddle of molten iron.

Holy crap!

Are this Laser Cannon and this mech really products that should appear in this century?

If the real object wasn’t here, I would truly think this was a scam.

...Everyone present was stunned. The scene just now was too shocking for them.

A tank weighing tens of tons turned into molten iron right before their eyes.

Gulp!

With this power, it seems that the future king of land warfare, the tank, will truly disappear from the battlefield.

Leader Jia said slowly. On the battlefield, if a tank encounters a laser, it will be burned into molten iron in less than three seconds. In such a short time, the tank wouldn’t even have time to react before it’s gone.

It’s a completecrush!

Everyone, what happened today must not be spread.

Later, all videos recorded here will be handed over to me.

Leader Jia turned to look at the researchers operating the cameras.

Mhm, mhm!

The targeted researchers immediately nodded.

Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, can this Laser Cannon be miniaturized a bit?

It would be even better if it could be carried by a single soldier.

Leader Jia turned to look at Academician Wu and Academician Zhao.

We don’t understand that either!

I’m afraid only Comrade Xiao Zhang himself can answer that question.

Academician Wu and Academician Zhao looked at the dense Laser Cannon design blueprints and felt that perhaps only Zhang Yuanhang could understand these blueprints.
