Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

47: The Eagle Sauce is about to start doing bad things behind the scenes“Mr. Matthew, the contract is ready.”

“Why don’t we sign the contract first?”

After signing the contract, Elder Wang still had to return to Shancheng. After all, staying with Matthew and the others was not as comfortable as staying with the mecha invented by Zhang Yuanhang.

“Good, good!”

Matthew, of course, agreed to sign the contract immediately! To avoid China regretting it later.

Guan Shan looked at the CCTV reporter, his eyes asking if he was ready.

The CCTV reporter nodded knowingly, signaling that they could start at any time.

“Elder Wang, we can start.”

Guan Shan leaned close to Elder Wang’s ear and whispered.

“Good!”

Elder Wang nodded, then gestured for Matthew to come to the center of the conference room.

Matthew excitedly walked to the center, not even looking at the contract, and made a gesture as if to sign it.

“Mr. Matthew, aren’t you going to review the contract first?”

Elder Wang looked at Matthew, who was about to put pen to paper, and kindly reminded him.

“Elder Wang, we trust you Chinese people. According to your character, you would not tamper with the contract.”

Matthew said with a smile. Although Matthew and the others inwardly looked down on Chinese people, they still greatly trusted their character.

Chinese people have always been seen by foreigners as hardworking, earning money little by little with their own hands, and would never resort to such dishonest means of swindling.

“Alright, then let’s sign!”

Elder Wang was very pleased with Matthew’s words, so in front of the camera, he signed the contract with Matthew.

“Mr. Matthew, happy cooperation!”

“Elder Wang, happy cooperation!”

The two shook hands with satisfaction and smiled.

Afterward, he also took a photo with Matthew and the Shell Corporation executives who came with Matthew.

After signing the contract, Elder Wang immediately left the conference room and made a call to China’s Top Leader.

“Chief, the mission is successfully completed. The Shell Corporation has helped us resolve the issue of the domestically produced large passenger aircraft’s airworthiness certificate in Europe.”

Elder Wang said excitedly.

“Good, very good!”

China’s Top Leader nodded happily. He had originally thought that official cooperation would be needed in the end to make Europe willing to issue an airworthiness certificate for the domestically produced large passenger aircraft.

He didn’t expect the Shell Corporation to handle it directly.

It seems that the relationship between John Bull and France in Europe and Eagle-chan has also developed some cracks as the European economy declines.

China can make good use of this point in the future, and perhaps it can backstab Eagle-chan!

“Old Wang, you did a good job this time.”

“Kicking open this door in Europe will make things much easier in other places later.”

China’s Top Leader said slowly.

“Yes, this time it was all thanks to Comrade Xiao Zhang’s Yuanhang-2 Engine.”

“If the engine wasn’t excellent enough, it wouldn’t have been possible for the Shell Corporation to pay such a high price.”

Elder Wang said.

“Mmm hmm!”

China’s Top Leader nodded in agreement.

The signing of the contract with the Shell Corporation appeared on the television news that evening.

“Today, the chairman of the European Shell Corporation led its senior executives to our China.”

“They exchanged flight control systems and avionics systems for the right to purchase the Yuanhang-2 Engine developed by our Chinese scientist, Mr. Zhang Yuanhang.”

“And signed a long-term purchase contract at a price of 15 million US dollars per unit. At the same time, our domestically produced large passenger aircraft obtained its European airworthiness certificate today.”

Immediately, the video of today’s contract signing and the final group photo were broadcast.

Watching Matthew’s impatient demeanor on the TV screen, the entire Chinese populace felt a deep sense of pride.

The Chinese internet also erupted after the news broadcast.

“Holy cow, did you guys see today’s news? My heavens, I feel like all the Shell Corporation executives came.”

“That’s right, the chairman and most of the senior executives of the Shell Corporation were all present. I didn’t expect their Shell Corporation to value our Yuanhang-2 Engine so much.”

“15 million US dollars per unit, terrifyingly powerful. If I remember correctly, Eagle-chan’s most advanced engine only sells for 10 million US dollars.”

“Humbly asking, did Europe issue an airworthiness certificate for our domestically produced large passenger aircraft just to get the right to buy the Yuanhang-2?”

“Isn’t that obvious!”

“Great God Zhang Yuanhang is mighty!!!”

... Faced with the Shell Corporation’s generous offer, the Chinese people once again felt the charm of the Yuanhang-2 Engine.

Across the ocean, Eagle-chan.

“What!”

“Are the Shell Corporation and Europe possessed???”

The chairman of the Boeing Company felt Matthew had gone crazy after learning what happened in China.

Paying such a high price just to buy China’s engine, are you sure?

“Chairman, should we also send someone to China to check the situation?”

An assistant next to him spoke up. He felt that even if Matthew had gone crazy, it was unlikely that all the Shell Corporation executives would also be ill.

If that Yuanhang-2 Engine wasn’t outstanding, how could the Shell Corporation pay such a huge price?

Moreover, European Countries directly issued an airworthiness certificate for China’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft. It’s hard to believe there’s no problem with that!

The Boeing Company chairman glanced disdainfully at his assistant, “Since it was your suggestion, then you go to China to see that Yuanhang-2!”

After speaking, the Boeing Company chairman turned and left, leaving behind a wryly smiling assistant.

You want me to go, are you sure the Chinese will let me see the Yuanhang-2 Engine then???

“Damn it, what are John Bull and France doing?”

“Are they trying to stand against us, Eagle-chan?”

“How can they issue an airworthiness certificate for China’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft!!!”

Trump was almost fuming at this point. He was actually backstabbed by his own allies.

It was simply too outrageous.

“Is the call connected? I want to personally ask them what they are doing?”

Trump turned to look at the assistant who was calling the leaders of John Bull and France.

The assistant shook his head, “Boss, their people say their leaders are in a meeting, and no one can disturb them now.”

Hearing his assistant’s words, Trump was so angry that he directly flipped the desk over, “Shit!”

Trump didn’t believe their excuse at all.

If you don’t want to answer my call, just say so!!!

“Immediately have the Ministry of Foreign Affairs send a message, questioning China’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft!”

“Incite the European people, tell them that China’s engine is not reliable, make them demonstrate, make them oppose their Government.”

Trump said with an ill-intentioned look.

He had originally wanted to discuss it with them properly, but since they were unwilling to answer his call, then he shouldn’t be blamed for backstabbing them.

“Yes, Boss!”

The assistant nodded and immediately went to make arrangements.

This kind of tactic has been used by Eagle-chan more than once or twice; it’s very skilled and doesn’t require any preparation.
