38: Huaxia announces Zhang Yuanhang receives the Huaxia MedalThe next day.

Early in the morning, many Hua Xia citizens opened their phones on their way to work.

Today was the day the list of Hua Xia Medal recipients for this year would be announced, and everyone was gathered in the live stream.

In the blink of an eye, the number of people in the live stream reached tens of millions.

“If I could receive the Hua Xia Medal, my ancestral grave would be smoking with good fortune!”

“The person upstairs, your ancestral grave smoking isn’t enough; it’s definitely on fire.”

“I heard that Academician Zhang Hai from the Nuclear Energy Research Base is among this year’s Hua Xia Medal recipients!”

“Yes, yes, yes, it’s said that our Hua Xia’s future nuclear-powered aircraft carriers might adopt the Nuclear Reactor Device researched by Academician Zhang Hai.”

...Mentioning the five words ’nuclear-powered aircraft carrier’ instantly flooded the entire live stream with bullet comments, as everyone imagined Hua Xia possessing its own nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in the future.

“Ya Xin, hurry up, the live stream already has so many people!”

Guan Ya opened her phone at this moment and eagerly called her good friend Li Yaxin to her side.

“Wow, it’s already over ten million people so quickly!”

Li Yaxin was also startled; how long had it been since the broadcast started?

No one noticed that the host had already walked out until he began to read the list of recipients.

“The three Comrades who received the 2023 Hua Xia Medal are Principal Liu, who has dedicated himself to the mountains, enabling countless students to go far, and Mr. Shen Hai, who dedicated his life to the motherland’s maritime borders.”

The host spoke with great emotion, and the deeds of these two gentlemen continuously scrolled through the live stream.

“Wuwuwu!”

“It’s because of these selfless people that our Hua Xia was able to catch up with developed countries in thirty years!”

“It’s so good that Hua Xia has them!”

...Everyone watched the live stream, unable to hold back their tears.

“The next person must be Academician Zhang Hai.”

“If Academician Zhang Hai receives the Hua Xia Medal, does that mean a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier can be built in just a few years?”

“Exactly!”

Everyone stared intently at the host’s mouth, hoping to hear the news they desired.

“The last recipient’s name is Zhang Yuanhang!” the host said, “Comrade Zhang Yuanhang’s research achievements have greatly enhanced our Hua Xia’s comprehensive strength and significantly improved our country’s defense capabilities!”

“What the heck? Why isn’t it Academician Zhang Hai?”

“No, no, did Academician Zhang Hai change his name to Zhang Yuanhang?”

“Everyone, look at the big screen behind; it says Zhang Yuanhang is only twenty-two years old.”

“Damn, is there some kind of shady business going on?”

...Li Yaxin stared blankly at the live stream, wondering why she thought of Zhang Yuanhang at this moment.

The name was the same, and the age was similar.

“Why is the last person’s name exactly the same as Zhang Yuanhang?”

Guan Ya felt annoyed when she saw the three characters ’Zhang Yuanhang’.

“Ya Xin, do you think this Zhang Yuanhang mentioned in the live stream is our classmate Zhang Yuanhang?”

Li Yaxin turned to ask Guan Ya.

“Ya Xin, are you confused? If that’s true, I’ll just…” Guan Ya turned her head and looked around, finally settling her gaze on her water cup on the table, “If it’s the Zhang Yuanhang we know, I’ll eat this cup raw!”

Guan Ya said, pointing at the cup.

“Alright, I have a feeling you might end up eating that cup.”

Li Yaxin’s intuition told her that her classmate Zhang Yuanhang was the Zhang Yuanhang who received the Hua Xia Medal in the live stream.

After all, when Zhang Yuanhang returned to school, so many soldiers came, just to protect Zhang Yuanhang. It all indicated that Zhang Yuanhang had made great contributions to the motherland.

Now, one of the Hua Xia Medal recipients was named Zhang Yuanhang, and Li Yaxin felt her guess must be correct.

At the same time.

Following the announcement of the Hua Xia Medal list, the entire internet was in an uproar. Since the Hua Xia Medal began to be awarded thirty years ago, recipients were typically over fifty years old.

This sudden Zhang Yuanhang directly brought the age down to twenty-two, which was absolutely outrageous!

“Damn, what exactly did this Zhang Yuanhang develop to receive the Hua Xia Medal at this age?”

“Exactly, and the official statement said it greatly improved national defense capabilities. Whatever this Zhang Yuanhang developed is definitely not ordinary.”

“Our Zhang family has achieved something great!”

“Wuwu, others at twenty-two receive the Hua Xia Medal, while I at twenty-two am still immersed in computer games.”

...Unlike the nationwide celebration among Hua Xia citizens, Foreign powers were all dumbfounded at this moment. They trembled when they heard what the host said at the press conference.

Hua Xia’s image on the international stage has always been very humble, always downplaying everything by a third, never before introducing someone so high-profilely as this time!

“Damn it, what exactly happened in Hua Xia?”

“And where did this Zhang Yuanhang come from? What did he invent that made Hua Xia so high-profile?”

“What are you intelligence agencies doing, staring at women’s butts all day long!!!”

At this moment, Trump was furious at the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency.

Saliva sprayed onto the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency’s face as if it were free, making the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency feel as if he were in a water curtain cave.

“Now, immediately, tell me what this Zhang Yuanhang does!”

After scolding him, Trump gasped for breath and plopped back into his office chair.

He stared intently at the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency, thinking: If this guy doesn’t know anything later, I’ll make him play mahjong with wild animals in Africa!

“This, this Zhang Yuanhang, we only know he is an ordinary student at Shancheng University of Science and Technology.” The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency saw his boss’s face gradually turn ugly and immediately added: “Oh, right, this Zhang Yuanhang has excellent grades and has long been the top student at Shancheng University of Science and Technology.”

“And then?”

Trump continued to ask, “What exactly is the reason he became a Hua Xia Medal recipient?”

“Boss, we don’t know that yet!”

“Hua Xia has been hiding Zhang Yuanhang, and we haven’t been able to find enough information.”

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency said helplessly; the information he knew was found by spies infiltrating Hua Xia, waking up in the middle of the night.

“Immediately have the spies in Hua Xia take action. I want to know everything about this Zhang Yuanhang.”

“Why on earth would Hua Xia award the Hua Xia Medal to this Zhang Yuanhang?!”

A hint of worry surfaced in Trump’s mind. Could what this Zhang Yuanhang developed threaten their Eagle Country’s dominant position on the Blue Star?
