Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

23: The Air Force Commander personally came to intercept the engine“Bang!”

At this moment, the teacup in the Air Force Commander’s hand, on the other end of the phone, instantly dropped to the ground. Zhao Sheng’s words made the Air Force Commander doubt his life.

From today onwards, our Huaxia’s aero-engines have finally stood up!!!

“Zhao Sheng, is everything you just said true?”

“Are these data faked?”

The Air Force Commander asked, gripping his phone tightly.

“Commander, it’s all true. The Domestic Large Aircraft Project just finished testing the engine developed by Comrade Zhang Yuanhang.”

“All the data just came out, 100% no problems.”

Zhao Sheng said, his voice filled with excitement.

“Good, good.”

“You stay there and guard it. I’ll go inform the Commander; our Air Force is going to order this engine.”

“Such a good engine can’t be wasted on a small passenger aircraft.”

The Air Force Commander hung up the phone, grabbed his military cap, and jogged towards the Air Force Commander’s office.

“Commander, Commander, great news!!!”

The Air Force Commander pushed open the Air Force Commander’s office door directly.

“Xiangyang, what great news?”

The Air Force Commander was about to get angry. With so many military secrets in his office, if everyone just walked in like this, what would it look like!!!

But then he saw it was his old comrade-in-arms, Li Xiangyang, the second-in-command of the Air Force.

“Commander, do you still remember that kid Zhang Yuanhang who invented the mecha?”

Li Xiangyang asked with a smile.

“Of course I remember him.”

“The great news you’re talking about couldn’t be that this kid has developed a new aerospace engine, could it??? ”

The Air Force Commander immediately stood up from his seat, his eyes filled with shock.

The Air Force Commander knew about Zhang Yuanhang going to help the Domestic Large Aircraft Project research engines, but calculating the time, it had only been a little over a month at most.

And he just pulled a new engine out of thin air???

“Commander is indeed the Commander.”

“Just now, that kid Zhao Sheng called. Zhang Yuanhang has created a new engine, and it has completed all tests.”

“All aspects of the engine’s performance are excellent, with its thrust reaching seventy tons!”

Li Xiangyang said.

“Xiangyang, how much did you just say?”

The Air Force Commander scratched his ear, suspecting that he hadn’t cleaned his ears in days, causing him to mishear.

“Seventy tons!”

Li Xiangyang looked at the Air Force Commander, who was breaking down, his face full of smiles. He hadn’t seen his good friend make such an expression in many years.

It was a shame he didn’t bring a phone, otherwise, he would have definitely taken a picture of the Air Force Commander’s current appearance and saved it.

“Immediately arrange a plane for me, I’m going to Rong City.”

After the Air Force Commander came back to his senses, he immediately picked up a landline nearby and made a call.

Just as Li Xiangyang thought, the Air Force Commander also felt that using this engine on a domestically produced large passenger aircraft was too much of a waste; he wanted to intercept it.

“Commander, I want to go too!”

Li Xiangyang quickly declared.

“Good, let’s go!”

The Air Force Commander nodded, and led a group of people quickly to the runway outside. At this time, the people below had already arranged a plane for the Air Force Commander.

“Take off quickly, get to Rong City as soon as possible!”

As soon as they boarded the plane, the Air Force Commander and Li Xiangyang urged the pilot to take off immediately. At this moment, both of them wished they could personally carry the plane and run to Rong City.

“Yes, Chief.”

Urged by the two big shots, the pilot immediately started the plane.

“What do you think the Commander and his people left in such a hurry for?”

“I don’t know, but something big must have happened.”

“That’s nonsense. I feel like this matter is definitely not simple. I haven’t seen the Commander show that kind of expectant expression in a long time.”

...The ground crew on the ground thought about the expressions of the Air Force Commander and Li Xiangyang just now and felt that this matter must be a good thing.

While the Air Force Commander and Li Xiangyang were rushing over.

Zhang Yuanhang planned to leave the research base in Rong City.

“Little Zhang, why are you thinking of leaving?”

“Did some kid offend you? Tell me who it is, and I’ll fire him immediately.”

Academician Li Bing asked, holding Zhang Yuanhang’s hands.

“Yes, yes, Little Zhang.”

“Look at how well we’ve been cooperating lately. Why don’t you just stay and work at our research base? When we retire,”

“We’ll recommend you to be the head of the research base!”

Academician Qian also hastily said, while glancing at his student Qin Ming, wondering if that kid had been slandering him behind his back again.

Qin Ming, being stared at by his teacher, quickly waved his hands, indicating that he hadn’t done anything!!!

Zhao Sheng saw that Zhang Yuanhang wanted to leave and was about to speak to poach Zhang Yuanhang for their Air Force.

Suddenly, before he could speak, he felt two murderous gazes directed at him.

“Uh, uh, uh...”

Seeing the looks in Academician Qian and Academician Li Bing’s eyes, Zhao Sheng felt that if he were to say anything about joining the Air Force at this moment, these two old men, with one foot in the grave, would surely beat him to an early grave.

So Zhao Sheng chickened out and turned away, no longer looking in that direction.

“Academician Qian, Academician Li, I’ve finished the technical handover here, and I’m not needed for now.”

“If any problems arise later, Academician Li, Academician Qian, you can call me.”

“Now, the school has been waiting for me for a long time. It would be too much for my fellow students if I made them wait any longer.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

He hadn’t forgotten that because of him, the senior students at Shancheng University of Science and Technology had not yet taken their graduation project assessment.

If they didn’t take the assessment, they couldn’t graduate, which was too unfair to them.

“Alright, Little Zhang, actually, this...”

Academician Qian wanted to tell Zhang Yuanhang that with his ability, there was no need for him to participate in this so-called graduation project assessment.

However, Academician Li Bing stopped Academician Qian. In Academician Li Bing’s opinion, Zhang Yuanhang should go; if he didn’t, Zhang Yuanhang would regret it in the future.

“Since that’s the case, Little Zhang, we won’t stop you.”

“However, the doors of our research base will always be open for you.”

Academician Li Bing looked at Zhang Yuanhang with a faint smile. He didn’t know why, but he felt that once Zhang Yuanhang left, he wouldn’t come to their research base again in the future.

“Mhm, mhm, thank you, Academician Li and Academician Qian.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

“No problem, no problem.”

Academician Qian’s smile at this moment was uglier than a cry. If you asked who in the entire research base wanted Zhang Yuanhang to stay the most, it would be none other than Academician Qian!!!

Following Zhang Yuanhang, he could continuously absorb new knowledge. That feeling was like taking opium, incredibly refreshing.

Now that Zhang Yuanhang was leaving, Academician Qian was truly reluctant!

“Little Zhang, then let us arrange a plane for you to go back.”

Academician Li Bing was about to wave his hand to have a helicopter arranged for Zhang Yuanhang to return.

“No need, no need. I’ve already contacted Colonel Lin Yun, and he has arranged a helicopter to pick me up.”

Zhang Yuanhang quickly waved his hand and then said.

“Damn it, damn Lin Yun!”

Zhao Sheng, on the side, said through gritted teeth. He hadn’t expected that after personally guarding here for so long, he would be intercepted by Lin Yun, who was far away in Shancheng.

What kind of situation was this!!!

“Alright, alright.”

Academician Li Bing nodded calmly, having already greeted Lin Yun’s ancestors for eighteen generations in his heart.
