Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

18: Improve the protection level of mountain city military bases“That’s right, that’s right. Eagle Country isn’t always boasting that their Laser Cannon is the best on The Entire Blue Star, are they?”

“You have a point, but we must be wary of Eagle Country spies then.”

“Then we will reinforce Shancheng Military Base with more troops and assign more people to guard it.”

Everyone finished speaking and looked at China’s Top Leader.

“Mm-hmm, it is time to reinforce Shancheng Military Base.”

“Old Wang, this time you will personally go and guard it. After Comrade Zhang Yuanhang finishes with the domestically produced large passenger aircraft project,”

“you will cooperate with Comrade Zhang Yuanhang to complete the Laser Cannon’s modification.”

“Oh, and reserve a spot for Comrade Zhang Yuanhang in this year’s Top Ten Outstanding Youths of China.”

China’s Top Leader said slowly.

“Ah, wouldn’t exposing Comrade Zhang Yuanhang be bad?”

“Yes, if something unexpected happens, it would be a huge loss for our China!”

“That’s right, Leader, shouldn’t you consider it?”

Everyone opposed China’s Top Leader’s last statement. Once Zhang Yuanhang’s identity was exposed, those Foreign powers would surely try every means to target Zhang Yuanhang.

It was too dangerous.

“In the past, our strength was weak, so we had no choice but to let scientists live in anonymity.”

“Now that our China’s strength has grown, it’s time for these scientists, who have poured their hearts and souls into China, to enjoy the treatment they deserve.”

China’s Top Leader said with firm eyes.

Today’s China was not one that any Tom, Dick, or Harry could bully.

Moreover, letting scientists stand in the sunlight was also beneficial to the country. Those who had long been kneeling weren’t they saying that China’s research was no good here, no good there? Let them know China’s true strength.

Old Wang, Leader Jia, and other military personnel all looked at China’s Top Leader happily.

In their view, China should be this resolute. Now, China’s strength on The Entire Blue Star was only surpassed by Eagle Country.

With such strength, why should they suffer such indignities!!!

“Leader, rest assured, I will take care of this matter.”

Old Wang patted his chest.

“Good, then you all go prepare.”

“Everyone present, please go busy yourselves with your own matters.”

China’s Top Leader nodded and said to Everyone. Everyone responded and then, filled with enthusiasm, went to their respective offices.

Leader Jia, along with Old Wang, boarded a plane returning to Shancheng and left the Capital.

At the same time, in a certain military base in China, a group of soldiers were loading Eagle Country’s main battle tanks into a transport plane. This transport plane was about to depart for Shancheng.

Additionally, groups of fully armed soldiers boarded several other transport planes nearby. They were all going to reinforce Shancheng.

Shancheng Military Base’s security level was directly raised to the highest by the Capital. If any suspicious personnel approached Shancheng Military Base, the sentries could directly shoot them.

As transport planes landed in Shancheng, it also caught the attention of Foreign powers’ agents lurking in Shancheng.

“What’s happening in Shancheng?”

“Why are so many military personnel coming to Shancheng? Could the mecha that the Shancheng people spoke of be true?”

“No way, have the Chinese really built mechas?”

The Eagle Country agent lurking in Shancheng thought of what the Shancheng people had said before, that a mecha had appeared in Shancheng, and couldn’t help but feel suspicious.

News on the internet was deleted by the Chinese authorities immediately. Now, so many transport planes were bringing soldiers to Shancheng.

The Eagle Country agent felt that this news was very likely true. So he chose to report it immediately, and at the highest level.

At the same time.

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency, far across the ocean, received a message from his agent, immediately printed it as a document, and personally went to the room where Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu was resting.

“Bang bang!”

Hearing a knock on the door, Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu quickly got up and put on his pajamas.

“Come in.”

Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu said slowly.

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency heard the voice and hurriedly pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing that it was the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency himself, Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu’s expression changed.

Usually, the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency would only personally deliver documents when a major event occurred. Could it be that a war had broken out somewhere???

“Boss, the agent lurking in China’s Shancheng just sent a message that China has dispatched a lot of soldiers to Shancheng.”

“They speculate that the news about China developing mechas that spread earlier might be true.”

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency said in a hurry.

“What???”

At first, Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu, hearing that the matter concerned China, immediately sat up straight, originally thinking it was something major.

But then you tell him that China built mechas? Isn’t that a joke???

“No, have all of your intelligence agency’s brains gone missing?”

“Mechas? Why don’t you say China built Space battleships!!!”

“If you ever bother me again with such news, don’t even think about keeping your Director position.”

Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu was furious. He threw the document from the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency’s hand directly into the trash can in the room. Then he kicked the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency out.

“Idiot!!!”

After closing the door, Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu was still cursing.

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency rubbed his numb butt with a wronged expression. Although the intelligence was absurd, his agent’s analysis was not wrong.

Aside from the rumored mechas, nothing special had happened in Shancheng recently. It was normal for the agent to speculate about mechas!!!

At this time, other Foreign powers also noticed the activity in Shancheng, but Everyone was momentarily unsure what China was up to.

So they all turned their attention to Eagle Country, who had rich experience in spying. Seeing that Eagle Country also had no reaction, Everyone speculated that perhaps the arrival of so many soldiers in Shancheng this time was just China conducting some military exercise.

Thus, they didn’t take the matter to heart, simply sent a few people to take some photos from a distance from Shancheng Military Base, and then turned to focus on other matters.

The actions of the Foreign powers left the China Security Bureau, originally responsible for dealing with Foreign powers’ agents, completely bewildered. They had made thorough preparations to prevent Foreign powers’ agents from gathering information.

We were all ready for a big fight with you, but you just sent two or three small fries, took a few photos, and then left.

This made the China Security Bureau feel like punching cotton. They had originally hoped to receive a collective commendation.

“Strange, what are these Foreign powers up to?”

Old Wang looked at the message sent by the China Security Bureau and for a moment couldn’t understand the thoughts of these Foreign powers’ agents.

“Notify them to tell the China Security Bureau to continue to keep a close watch and absolutely not relax their vigilance.”

Old Wang said. He was a little worried that these Foreign powers’ agents might mislead the China Security Bureau, then find a loophole and seize the opportunity to gather information.

“Yes!”

Old Wang’s secretary hurriedly turned to make arrangements.
