46: Domestic large passenger aircraft obtains European airworthiness certificate ahead of schedule“Elder Wang, is this the experimental data for the Yuanhang-2 Engine?”

“Can we take a look?”

Matthew carefully pointed to the experimental data piled up behind Elder Wang, his eyes practically glowing. He couldn’t help but swallow.

In Matthew’s eyes, this experimental data was not just a stack of documents, but a surefire weapon to defeat the Boeing Company.

“Of course, you can.”

Elder Wang nodded.

The experimental data behind him was originally meant for the Shell Corporation to see.

After receiving Elder Wang’s permission, Matthew led the Shell Corporation’s executives and quickly jogged to the experimental data, each picking up a document and scrutinizing it.

“Oh, f***!”

At this moment, Thomson, a Shell Corporation executive who had been promoted from a technical position, looked at the data in his hand with shock.

“Thomson, what’s wrong?”

Matthew and the others immediately turned to look at Thomson. They all knew Thomson understood technology, and for him to break down and curse in such an occasion, there must be a problem.

“Chairman, this Yuanhang-2 Engine is truly terrifying and too advanced.”

“If all these data are true, by using the Yuanhang-2 Engine to replace the engines we currently use, our passenger aircraft will save two-fifths of its fuel.”

Thomson couldn’t imagine what kind of genius could have developed this engine.

“Hiss!”

Matthew and the others gasped.

At the same time, Matthew was overjoyed. He had originally planned to use the Yuanhang-2 Engine’s advantage of reduced takeoff and landing taxiing distance to promote his company’s passenger aircraft.

It’s important to know that equipping the Yuanhang-2 Engine would greatly reduce the requirements for airport runways, which is very attractive to airlines.

He hadn’t expected this powerful engine to be so fuel-efficient. As long as he promoted this point well, orders from The Entire Blue Star airlines would surely come in like snowflakes!

Thinking of this, Matthew trembled all over.

“Xiao Jia, can the Yuanhang-2 Engine also save fuel?”

Elder Wang looked at Leader Jia in confusion. Previously, because Elder Wang’s attention was entirely on whether the domestically produced large passenger aircraft could successfully make its maiden flight, he hadn’t noticed this data.

“Chief, yes, according to Academician Li Bing and his team, it can save two-fifths of the fuel.”

Leader Jia was now utterly impressed with Zhang Yuanhang. It was one thing to develop the most powerful engine on The Entire Blue Star, the Yuanhang-1, but the Yuanhang-2 Engine, created for the domestically produced large passenger aircraft, not only surpassed all other engines on Earth in thrust.

In terms of fuel efficiency, it directly crushed engines manufactured by all other countries.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang is a national treasure of our Huaxia!”

Elder Wang said with a smile.

Thinking of the country he had dedicated his life to, which would gradually revive under Zhang Yuanhang’s terrifying research capabilities, Elder Wang’s face flushed with excitement.

“Chairman, this trip to Huaxia was absolutely worth it!”

“Indeed, if it weren’t for your foresight, Chairman, our Shell Corporation would have missed out on such an excellent engine.”

“This time, our Shell Corporation will definitely be able to trample the Boeing Company underfoot.”

The Shell Corporation executives present, after reading the experimental data, all looked at Matthew with admiration.

If it weren’t for Matthew, they wouldn’t have come to Huaxia at all, nor would they have obtained the right to purchase Huaxia’s Yuanhang-2.

To sign the contract as soon as possible, Matthew immediately called Europe and held an online meeting with the leaders of European Countries, explaining the current situation.

“Wait, Matthew, where did you say you are? Are you sure you’re in Huaxia, not in America?”

“Exactly, exactly. Matthew, how could the Huaxia people possibly produce such an excellent engine?”

“If I’m not mistaken, Matthew, today is not April Fool’s Day!”

The leaders of European Countries couldn’t believe that the Yuanhang-2 Engine Matthew spoke of was so excellent, completely surpassing all the engines manufactured by their countries.

“Everyone, I swear by God, every letter I just said is true!”

Matthew said with a serious expression.

“Everyone, what Matthew just said is true.”

At this moment, the Leader of Gaul Rooster spoke. The France’s spies had already sent the video of Huaxia’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft’s maiden flight back to the France.

Watching the video of the Huaxia domestically produced large passenger aircraft taking off and landing after a short taxi, the Leader of Gaul Rooster already believed that Huaxia had developed a powerful engine.

Hearing the Leader of Gaul Rooster’s statement, all the leaders fell silent.

The news that Huaxia had developed the most powerful engine on The Entire Blue Star was, for them, no less than discovering that a beggar’s assets were far greater than The Entire Blue Star’s richest person.

“Everyone, to purchase this advanced engine from Huaxia, Huaxia must provide the flight control system and avionics system, as well as our European airworthiness certificate.”

Matthew stated the conditions Elder Wang had just conceded.

“No, how can we issue an airworthiness certificate to Huaxia!”

“How can our country’s airspace allow Huaxia people’s planes to fly.”

“Exactly, exactly!”

Some leaders of small countries immediately jumped up, while major countries like John Bull and the France fell silent, carefully considering the feasibility.

Once Huaxia’s Yuanhang-2 Engine was adopted, their Shell Corporation would definitely be able to snatch a piece of the pie from the American Boeing Company.

This was very attractive to Europe, where the economy was beginning to decline.

“I agree!”

The John Bull Leader, once the hegemon of The Entire Blue Star, was the first to agree.

“I also agree.”

The France then stated its position.

“We also agree.”

“Agree!”

Subsequently, the countries involved in aircraft manufacturing all agreed. The small countries that were still jumping up and down could only agree when they saw this.

After receiving permission, Matthew’s face was covered in smiles.

Elder Wang saw Matthew was as happy as if he had just married a new bride, and immediately understood that he had received an answer from the European Countries, and that Huaxia’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft had obtained the airworthiness certificate from European Countries!

Elder Wang gave his assistant, Guan Shan, a look, signaling him to print out the contract.

Guan Shan nodded and immediately left the conference room to print the contract.

Not long after!

Guan Shan walked in with two copies of the contract. “Elder Wang, the contract has been printed. Do you need to let the reporters in to record this moment?”

This was a historic moment; for one of the giants of aircraft manufacturing to purchase aircraft engines from Huaxia, it was such a proud moment.

“Mhm, mhm!”

Elder Wang nodded. Guan Shan immediately sent someone to call in the CCTV reporters. As soon as they entered, they began setting up cameras and so on.
