Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 200: Chapter 172: Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes, High Nose, Deep Eyes

When the man in white saw Zhao Rong actually pick up a brick from the ground, he started fidgeting, squatting down and standing up again. ”What? You think you’re going to hit me? Do you have any idea who I am? I’m Hector’s personal messenger! If you hit me, Hector will make you beg for death, but deny you even that!”

Before the restless man in white could finish his sentence, Zhao Rong brought the brick down on his head. ”I’ve had enough of this,” he said. ”Tell your boss Hector to bring it on.”

A single blow from the brick was enough to turn the restless man into a quiet, handsome one.

The man in white, his head now bleeding, lay quietly on the ground and said calmly, ”Zhao Rong, my boss, Hector, is a Level 30 cultivator. A Level 22 cultivator like you? He could crush you to death with a single finger...”

With that, the man in white handed Zhao Rong Hector’s letter of challenge and fainted.

Seeing the restless man finally pass out, Zhao Rong felt the world stop shaking. Everything was finally quiet.

「On the way back to school」

Lili looked at Zhao Rong with worry. ”Zhao Rong, how can a Level 22 cultivator like you fight someone who’s Level 30?”

Listening to Lili’s concern, Zhao Rong replied, ”Don’t worry, I have my ways.”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong took the Yi Fire from his Magic Ring. He had won it a few days ago after beating up Bai Xiaojun. He toyed with the flame in his palm. ”It feels like it’s been a long time since I last practiced alchemy,” he mused. ”This challenge is the perfect opportunity. I’ll refine a level-up Elixir. I refuse to believe I can’t beat that Hector.”

Seeing the Yi Fire in Zhao Rong’s hand, Yu Lan said excitedly, ”Zhao Rong, you have the Yi Fire? With this, alchemy will be a piece of cake!”

In Zhao Rong’s hand, the Yi Fire pulsed, growing and shrinking, shifting between red and blue. He had it under perfect control.

Zhao Rong whispered, ”That’s right. With the Yi Fire, my alchemy has become as powerful as a tiger with wings.”

Xuelian asked with concern, ”Zhao Rong, now that you have the Yi Fire, do you still remember the methods from the alchemy manual that Mage Yi Zhen gave you?”

Zhao Rong puffed out his chest. ”Honestly, I’ve already memorized most of the recipes in that book.” With that, the contents of the alchemy manual began to play in his mind like a movie.

When Wang Meili heard that Zhao Rong had both the Yi Fire and an alchemy manual, she couldn’t help but give him a thumbs-up. ”Zhao Rong, you used alchemy to save my life. You could open a hospital to treat people!”

Hearing her suggestion, Zhao Rong shook his head. ”Hospitals charge to save lives. But I, Zhao Rong, always do it for free. That’s why I won’t open a hospital...”

Hearing that Zhao Rong treated people for free reminded Wang Meili of her roommate, who often suffered from terrible menstrual pain. So, she said, ”There’s a girl in my dorm who’s been sick recently. Could you take a look at her?”

The thought of treating a girl immediately piqued Zhao Rong’s interest. ”No problem,” he said. ”When we get back to campus, just bring her to me. I’ll refine an Elixir for her on the spot.”

College girls, he thought. It’s probably just a case of indigestion or constipation. Minor ailments like that are incredibly easy to cure.

But Wang Meili clarified, ”Zhao Rong, my roommate suffers from severe menstrual pain. Every time it happens, she’s left rolling on the floor in agony. You have to cure her completely...”

Hearing that the ailment he was supposed to cure was severe menstrual pain, Zhao Rong broke into a cold sweat. ”Wang Meili, I usually just treat common illnesses. This... I’m afraid I can’t help with that.”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s reluctance, Wang Meili pressed, ”But you just promised you’d see her. Why are you backing out now?”

Just then, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and Lili also chimed in, ”Zhao Rong, whether you can cure her or not, you should at least try...”

Seeing the girls’ pleading looks, Zhao Rong couldn’t refuse. He nodded helplessly. ”Alright, I’ll give it a try. But I can’t guarantee I can cure her.”

How unlucky, he thought. Why does a virgin like me have to treat a girl’s menstrual pain?

「Back at the security guards’ dorm」

Zhao Rong was sitting on his bed. He had just washed his feet and hadn’t even dried them when Wang Meili walked in with her roommate. Three people lived in the security dorm: Zhao Rong and two other guards, Xiao Wang and Xiao Liu.

When Wang Meili entered with her roommate, the other two guards were stunned. Wang Meili’s roommate was a blonde-haired, blue-eyed foreign beauty with a high-bridged nose and deep-set eyes.

Zhao Rong was taken aback and whispered to Wang Meili, ”Meili, you said your roommate has menstrual pain, right? How come she’s a foreign beauty?”

Wang Meili helped her roommate, Aliona, sit on the bed before explaining, ”Zhao Rong, this is Aliona. She’s a new international student from Ukraine and is temporarily staying in my dorm. Ukraine’s economy has been sluggish for the past few years. On top of that, foreigners are expected to be financially independent from their parents after turning eighteen. That’s why Aliona came to study in Xijing City all by herself and is in a tight spot financially. Please, take a look at her for free.”

Zhao Rong nodded and greeted the Ukrainian beauty. ”Hello there. Do you speak Chinese?”

Aliona clutched her stomach, her expression pained. ”A little,” she said.

Excited that she could speak Chinese, Zhao Rong said, ”Welcome to Huaxia! By the way, do you have a boyfriend?”

Hearing him ask that, Wang Meili shot him a sharp glare. ”Zhao Rong, she’s here because she heard you can heal people, not to find a boyfriend.”

Zhao Rong laughed awkwardly. ”Right, right. I’ll get started on the Elixir for Aliona right now.”

But Aliona stood up and answered his question anyway. ”I just arrived in Huaxia. I don’t have a boyfriend yet.”

Hearing that the fairy-like Ukrainian beauty was single, Zhao Rong’s eyes lit up. ”Then I’ll have to take you out to eat sometime when you’re free.”

Wang Meili, standing beside them, said angrily, ”Zhao Rong, get to work on the medicine already!”

Zhao Rong shot Aliona a flirtatious wink before turning away. He stealthily pulled out his phone and searched on Baidu for what herbs could alleviate menstrual pain. But after searching for some time, he couldn’t find any traditional herbs for the condition.

Looks like treating Aliona’s pain today will come down to pure luck, he sighed to himself.

He then took out the alchemy manual Mage Yi Zhen had given him from his Magic Ring, hoping to find a remedy there.

Zhao Rong figured that if a search engine had nothing, an old alchemy manual was even less likely to hold the answer.

But when he opened it, he was stunned. The manual clearly stated that with ingredients such as Divine Grass and Oblivion Water, one could refine an Elixir that completely cures menstrual pain.

He told everyone he needed to step out to purchase some ingredients and asked them to wait. Seeing him leave to buy the herbs, Wang Meili went with him.

As soon as Zhao Rong and Wang Meili left, the other two guards, Xiao Wang and Xiao Liu, started hitting on the Ukrainian beauty.

Xiao Liu poured Aliona a cup of hot water. ”Aliona, I know your stomach hurts. If you drink this hot water, you’ll definitely feel better.”

Aliona looked at the cup and shook her head. ”We foreigners don’t drink hot water. Only you Chinese people do that.”

Xiao Wang then rushed outside and came back with a bag of brown sugar. He dissolved some in a cup for her. ”Aliona, here in Huaxia, when a girl is having a hard time during her period, her boyfriend will make her a cup of brown sugar water to drink.”

Aliona looked at the brown liquid and shook her head again. ”But we Ukrainians never drink brown sugar water for menstrual pain.”

Rejected, the two guards exchanged a look. Just as they were about to try again, the assistant janitor pushed the door open and came in. He was holding a large bouquet, which he presented to Aliona. ”Beautiful goddess, please accept these flowers and let me into your heart.”

Aliona had spoken to the assistant janitor at school before, so they already knew each other. When Aliona saw that he had brought her flowers while she was sick, she happily accepted them, pulled him closer, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. ”Oh, you romantic janitor! I love this kind of romance...”

Freshly kissed, the assistant began to boast in front of Xiao Liu and Xiao Wang. ”You two security guards should take some notes on how to woo a foreign girl, got it?” He then took a box of pizza out of a plastic bag and began slicing a piece for Aliona. ”Aliona, I know you probably aren’t used to Huaxian food yet, so I got you some Western pizza. Here, have a bite to tide you over...”

Aliona’s eyes lit up at the sight of the pizza. She was hungry, so she happily took a slice, pulled the assistant in for another kiss, and said, ”Assistant, you really understand Ukrainian women...”

After the second kiss, the assistant grew even more arrogant. He gloated at the two guards, ”The two of you combined are no match for me when it comes to picking up girls. So, I’d advise you both to just give up.”

Hearing this, the two guards were furious.

Xiao Wang said angrily, ”Why should you be the only one who gets to hit on such a beautiful Ukrainian woman? Why can’t we?”

The assistant shot back, ”Because you security guards are a couple of clueless blockheads. You have no idea how to woo a girl. So, it’s better to let me handle it...” With that, he threw his head back and roared with laughter.

Seeing a mere janitor acting so arrogantly in their own dormitory was the last straw for Xiao Liu. He whispered to Xiao Wang, ”Boss, this cleaner is way too cocky. If we don’t teach him a lesson tonight, we’ll tarnish the reputation of all security guards!”

Agreeing, Xiao Wang and Xiao Liu grabbed the assistant and dragged him out of the dormitory, intending to give him a beating.
