Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 176: Chapter 150 The Women’s Soccer Team, Mixed with Men

Just as Zhao Rong was lamenting the poor quality of the soccer ball he’d bought online, Lili came over. She plucked the throwing star from the ball and said to him, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to be careful. That person from the Island Country just threw a star at you.”

Hearing that Abe no Shizuka, the man from the Island Country standing before him, had actually thrown a throwing star at him, Zhao Rong became furious. ”Damn it, I hate people from the Island Country more than anything! At first, I was just going to teach you a lesson and let it go. But you had to play dirty while I wasn’t looking, throwing that thing at me and even trying to kill me...”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong executed a front flip, landing directly in front of Abe no Shizuka. He snatched Abe no Shizuka’s left arm and applied a Kimura lock, a powerful Joint Lock, instantly breaking it.

Zhao Rong was so fast that by the time Abe no Shizuka even realized his left arm was broken, his right arm was already in Zhao Rong’s grasp. With a hard yank, Zhao Rong dislocated it.

Still not satisfied after breaking both of the man’s arms, Zhao Rong followed up with a leg sweep that broke both of his legs. In an instant, the once arrogant and domineering Abe no Shizuka was on the ground, rolling around in agony.

Zhao Rong warned the writhing man, ”You from the Island Country, don’t you dare come to our land and cause trouble again. This time, I broke your arms and legs. If I catch you again, next time I’ll break your neck.”

With that, Zhao Rong laughed heartily and followed Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian towards the nearby athletic field.

「Soon, the four of them reached the field.」

There, on the lush green soccer pitch, the women’s match between First-Year Class 1 and Second-Year Class 2 was about to begin.

When the First-Year Class 1 coach saw Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian finally arrive, he rushed over excitedly, handing water to the three beauties. ”You’re finally back! The game is about to start.”

After speaking, the coach counted the players on the team and said anxiously, ”Why are we still one person short? Who am I going to find as a substitute?”

Seeing the coach’s distress, Lili stepped forward, pulling Zhao Rong with her. ”Coach, we just went to get reinforcements.”

Hearing this, the coach turned to look at Zhao Rong, then licked his lips. ”Miss Lili, where did you find such a beauty? With a face like that, can she actually play?”

Lili patted Zhao Rong’s shoulder and assured the coach, ”Don’t worry, Coach. Don’t let her looks fool you. Her strength and speed are easily a match for any man’s.”

The coach sized up Zhao Rong. ”Not bad. Hurry up and get this beauty on the field.” Then, he gave Zhao Rong a meaningful look and added suggestively, ”Beauty, after the game, if you want to learn some more soccer skills, you can come find me in my dorm. I’ll give you some private lessons...”

Before the coach could finish, Zhao Rong immediately shot back, ”Teach my ass! Get lost.”

Hearing such a beautiful woman speak with a voice rougher than a man’s, the coach was so startled he fell flat on his rear. ”God is indeed fair,” he muttered, ”He gave you the face of an angel but the voice of a devil.”

As Zhao Rong walked onto the field with the three women, the referee approached. With a whistle in his mouth and a coin in his hand, he announced, ”The Xijing University Women’s Soccer League match will now begin.”

Flipping the coin, the referee continued, ”Here at Xijing University, we have a tradition of checking to make sure there are no men disguised among the women’s teams before a match. However, upon inspection, both teams consist entirely of women. Not a single man in drag has slipped in.”

Luckily, the referee hasn’t found out that I, Zhao Rong, am in disguise. Otherwise, that would have been embarrassing. Second-Year Class 2, just wait and see how I’m going to dominate you.

But before Zhao Rong could finish his smug thought, he looked at the players from Second-Year Class 2 and was stunned. He wiped a cold sweat from his forehead.

Damn, that goalkeeper hasn’t even shaved properly, yet he’s wearing foundation and a wig to play soccer? That left back has such a huge Adam’s apple, and he dares to pass as a woman? That midfielder is chubby, with big ears... he’s obviously a man, yet he’s on the women’s team? And that forward is the most outrageous of all! The bulge in his shorts makes it obvious he’s a man. How can he pretend to be a woman and play for the Second-Year Class 2 women’s team?

Lili stepped forward and handed Zhao Rong a soft armor vest. ”Brother Zhao Rong, hurry and put this on. The Second-Year Class 2 team is notorious. They don’t just have men pretending to be women; they also carry all sorts of weapons.”

Startled, Zhao Rong looked closer. He saw the right back holding a large pin. The striker had a sharp Swiss army knife hidden up his sleeve. The team captain, wearing the armband, even had a revolver tucked inside her clothes.

Zhao Rong took a sharp breath. ”Damn, this women’s soccer match at Xijing University is a battlefield.”

Lili lifted her jersey, revealing the bulletproof vest she wore underneath. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to get used to soccer at Xijing University. This isn’t even the worst of it.”

Zhao Rong shook his head. Looks like on our First-Year Class 1 team, I’m the only one in drag; the rest are all girls. But on the Second-Year Class 2 team, aside from those four villainesses, every other player is a man dressed as a woman. The referees at Xijing University must be blind. How could they inspect such a manly-looking team and declare them all to be women?

Before he could finish his thought, he saw the four villainesses bribing the referee.

The one nicknamed ”Perm” gave the head referee a Fiyta watch. The second, known as ”Large Earrings,” handed the linesman a piece of Burmese jade. The third, Liu Shisan, gave the field referee thirteen grams of pure Gold. The fourth, Chen Na, was temporarily absent from the group, having recently died by accident.

Witnessing this, Zhao Rong gritted his teeth. ”Damn it. So what if your team is full of men? So what if you bribed the referee? I, Zhao Rong, will still lead the First-Year Class 1 team to crush you!”

Then, the referee’s whistle blew, and the match officially began. As soon as it started, the crowd went wild, with many commenting. One fan who loved watching soccer but couldn’t play said, ”This match is crucial! The winner goes straight to the finals... The Second-Year Class 2 team has always been Xijing University’s ace. It looks like First-Year Class 1 is doomed.” Another fan, sipping on some liquor while watching, had little faith in Zhao Rong’s team. ”First-Year Class 1 is clearly a bunch of rookies. How could they possibly beat the powerhouse Second-Year Class 2 team?” A female fan, cracking sunflower seeds and tossing the shells everywhere, had already declared defeat for them. ”First-Year Class 1, why even bother playing? Just throw in the towel now and save yourselves the beatdown.”

On the field, as the Second-Year Class 2 striker dribbled the ball into the First-Year Class 1 penalty area, he whipped out a machete. He swung it wildly to keep the defenders at bay as he prepared to shoot.

As team captain, Lili saw the striker enter the penalty area and quickly shouted a warning to the goalie, Xuelian, ”Xuelian, whatever you do, you have to stop that ball!”

The spectators saw the striker advance into the penalty area and began to murmur, ”Looks like Second-Year Class 2 is about to score the first goal.”

Just as everyone expected them to score, Zhao Rong activated his special ability: Instant Teleportation. Moving at a speed invisible to the naked eye, he appeared beside the machete-wielding forward.

First, Zhao Rong snatched the machete from the forward’s hand and smacked him on the forehead with it twice. ”So, you bearded, cross-dressing oaf, you think you’re hot stuff playing soccer with a machete? How about you get a taste of your own medicine first?”

With that, blood began to gush from the forward’s forehead. Zhao Rong then took the soccer ball and kicked it squarely into the Second-Year Class 2 goal. After that, he teleported back to his original position.

The second-year striker hadn’t yet realized his forehead had been cut. He laughed smugly, ”First-years! Any of you defenders dare to come near me? I’ll chop you until you’re bleeding from the head and searching for your teeth on the ground...”

But before the forward could finish, he suddenly felt a warm liquid trickle down his forehead. He touched it and found blood.

Damn, I’m so careless, he thought. How could I have cut myself? Still, no big deal. Even if I accidentally nicked myself, as long as I score, it’s fine.

So, without looking down, the striker took a mighty kick at the spot where the ball had been. Since Zhao Rong had already sent the ball into the opposing goal, the second-year striker kicked nothing but air and went tumbling to the ground, landing face-first in the dirt.

Just as he fell, the students watching the game erupted in cheers, celebrating the ball’s mysterious journey from the First-Year Class 1 penalty area straight into the Second-Year Class 2 goal. The clueless striker, lying on the ground, heard the cheers and thought happily to himself, Did I score? Why else would everyone be cheering?

At that moment, the referee announced, ”Goal is valid! First-Year Class 1 scores, taking a one-point lead over Second-Year Class 2!”

When the second-year striker saw that his kick had somehow sent the ball into his own team’s goal, he was so furious that he fainted.

Meanwhile, Large Earrings, one of the four villainesses, restarted the play. She passed the ball to a man in drag with a prominent Adam’s apple and instructed him, ”Take the ball over there. When you get close to that beauty, use this syringe for doping donkeys to jab her...”

With that, Large Earrings handed the huge syringe to the player. Then, she looked over at Zhao Rong, a wicked smirk spreading across her face.
