Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 164: Chapter 138 My Duty is to Protect You

The four beauties were startled by Zhao Rong’s sudden appearance.

Lili rushed over in surprise and delight, hugging Zhao Rong’s left arm and showering his face with kisses. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said, ”why do you always come to our rescue at the most critical moments?”

Yu Lan immediately hugged Zhao Rong’s leg, looking up at him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re our god! Whenever we’re in danger, you appear, regardless of time, place, or space...”

Xuelian rushed forward, gave Zhao Rong a passionate kiss, and then said excitedly, ”Brother Zhao Rong, have you been secretly protecting us all along? Otherwise, why do you always appear at the most crucial moment to save us from the jaws of death?”

Being hugged and kissed by the three women, Zhao Rong felt as if he had returned to the golden age of his bodyguard career.

Zhao Rong smiled and comforted the three of them. ”As a bodyguard, my sacred duty is to protect you. So no matter where you are, if danger appears, I will be there without fail to protect you...”

After he finished speaking, Zhao Rong chuckled inwardly. I was just keeping Wang Meili company during her evening self-study session. I never expected to accidentally save these three.

Just as Zhao Rong was feeling smug, Wang Meili put down her homework and walked over. She looked at the three women happily and said, ”Ladies, Brother Zhao Rong came here specifically to keep me company for evening self-study... Why did you all come to study room 404 in the lab building tonight, too?”

Hearing that Zhao Rong had come to accompany Wang Meili and not specifically to protect them, Lili immediately let go of his arm and stared at him in surprise. ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you say you had a telepathic connection with us and were secretly protecting us? Why is Wang Meili saying you’re here to study with her? Did you just save us by complete accident?”

Yu Lan also spoke up, aggrieved. ”Brother Zhao Rong, how could you leave the three of us unprotected to secretly study with Wang Meili?”

Xuelian was even more jealous. ”Brother Zhao Rong, were you lying to us just now? Did you really just come to keep Wang Meili company?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong felt awkward. He looked at Wang Meili to his left and then at the three beauties to his right, truly at a loss for words.

Just as Zhao Rong was caught in this impossible situation, unable to advance or retreat, someone outside the classroom began pushing the door frantically.

Instantly, the three women hid behind Zhao Rong in terror. ”It must be that malevolent ghost! It followed us to the door!”

As the classroom door was about to be pushed open, Zhao Rong stepped back and shouted, ”By order of the statutes, all you fierce and starving ghosts... eat my foot!”

With that, he delivered a powerful front kick. With one kick, Zhao Rong not only blew the classroom door off its hinges but also sent the person outside flying with a piercing scream. Then, Zhao Rong leaped out and, without a second thought, grabbed the person on the ground and gave them a sound thrashing.

After the beating, Zhao Rong thought to himself, Damn, so ghosts aren’t so different from people. Neither can stand a good beating from me.

Right as Zhao Rong was feeling pleased with himself for so easily dispatching a malevolent ghost, he suddenly heard his assistant’s voice.

”Zhao Rong, it’s me, your assistant! Why are you beating me up for no reason?”

Hearing that the person on the ground was his assistant, Zhao Rong quickly turned on the emergency light in the corridor. In the dim light, he saw his assistant’s face was swollen and bruised, looking utterly pathetic.

Realizing he had beaten the wrong person, Zhao Rong hurriedly helped his assistant up and apologized. ”Assistant... what are you doing in this haunted lab building, anyway?”

The assistant replied aggrievedly, ”I’m the school janitor. This lab building is my responsibility. I come here every night on a fixed schedule to clean each classroom...”

Hearing that the assistant was just there to clean, Zhao Rong said awkwardly, ”My bad. I thought you were a malevolent ghost, so...”

However, before Zhao Rong could finish, the assistant, who had been on the verge of death just a moment ago, suddenly leaped up and fled into the classroom. He looked outside in terror and said, ”You’re not wrong, this building really is haunted! I ran into a malevolent ghost while I was cleaning just now—a female one!”

Seeing the suddenly-appeared assistant, the three women, though surprised, quickly asked him, ”We just saw a female ghost drag a man into a room, and then we heard all sorts of grunts and yells... Was the man she caught you?”

Hearing this, the assistant suddenly burst into tears. ”I’ve lived for over twenty years and kept my virginity all this time... How could my first time be stolen by that female ghost tonight?”

Hearing that the female ghost had taken his assistant’s virginity, Zhao Rong couldn’t help but gasp. He looked down toward his assistant’s crotch and asked, ”You... did it with that malevolent ghost?”

Wiping away his tears, the assistant explained, ”I had no choice! That female ghost threatened me. She said if I didn’t sleep with her, she’d flay my skin, pull out my tendons, and drink my blood! So, I reluctantly obliged and let her have her fun...”

Hearing that the assistant had really done it with a ghost, Zhao Rong asked curiously, ”What’s it like... doing it with a female ghost?”

The assistant licked his lips, recalling the recent event. ”Actually, there was nothing special about it. Just the usual positions... and ’mid-air refueling’...”

Hearing that the assistant had not only done it with a female ghost but had also used such an advanced technique, Zhao Rong and the women were so stunned they nearly fainted on the spot.

Just as everyone was sympathizing with the assistant’s plight, the legendary female ghost appeared at the end of the hallway.

They saw a woman in white with sharp fangs and claws. Her face was covered in blood, and maggots squirmed from her mouth as she floated bonelessly toward study room 404.

When everyone saw just how grotesque and disgusting the female ghost was, they couldn’t help but look at the assistant with renewed admiration. ”Assistant, you poor soul. To think you had to do ’mid-air refueling’ with such a nauseating woman... you’ve truly suffered.”

With that, everyone scrambled back into the classroom and barricaded the door with desks.

At this, all of them hid behind Zhao Rong.

Seeing the women huddled together in fear, Zhao Rong comforted them, ”Don’t be afraid. I’m here. I’ll protect you.”

Hearing this, the women placed all their hope in Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, as long as you’re here to protect us, we won’t be afraid.”

The assistant hid behind Zhao Rong as well. He looked at Zhao Rong with pleading eyes and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to protect me, too! I... I don’t want to do ’it’ with that ugly ghost again!”

Just then, the female ghost reached the classroom door. And Zhao Rong, who had never once caught a ghost, began his first ghost hunt...
