Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 167: Chapter 141: Fixing a Show-Off, Let You Act Again

When Zhao Rong stood up, Brother Piao burst into wild laughter. ”You little security guard, don’t be in such a hurry. First, let me perform my unique skills for everyone. Let them all witness the might of Brother Piao, and then I’ll enjoy taking you down. How about it?”

With that, Brother Piao rushed to the corner of the wall, then glanced back with a smile. ”I’ll start with the simplest trick for everyone. Standing here in the corner, I’ll perform a handstand...”

The crowd was stunned. They had thought Brother Piao was about to show off some incredible stunt, but it was just a handstand? That was far too childish and not worth watching.

However, as everyone watched him get into position, his arms suddenly gave way. He plunged headfirst onto the tiled floor, cutting his forehead. Seeing that Brother Piao couldn’t even manage a simple handstand, the crowd erupted in laughter.

Miss Lili watched his failure and mocked him, ”Didn’t you train in martial arts since you were a kid? How can you not even do a basic handstand? What a rookie.”

Zhao Rong stood nearby, shaking his head. ”No wonder everyone calls you a ’poseur.’ It seems the nickname is more than deserved.”

Brother Piao scrambled for an excuse. ”I did over ten thousand push-ups before coming out today, so my arms are a bit tired. Don’t laugh at my failed handstand; I have much better skills to show you.”

Hearing he had another special skill, everyone waited with bated breath, hoping he would perform an impressive feat.

But Brother Piao simply announced, ”Everyone, watch the time! I’m going to run from this barbecue stall to the school library and back. That’s at least five kilometers. I’ll run it at my fastest speed to show you what a true ’African Gazelle’ looks like.”

With that, he took off toward the school library. When the crowd realized his performance was just... running, they were so underwhelmed they could have fainted.

After Brother Piao left, everyone went back to eating barbecue and drinking beer. No one really cared how fast he ran. Zhao Rong also sat back down, heartily eating meat and drinking with the beautiful women.

An hour passed, then two...

By the time Zhao Rong and the ladies finished their meal and were ready to head back to school, Brother Piao still hadn’t returned. Three hours had passed, and he still hadn’t completed the five-kilometer run.

As they reached the school gate, they were startled to see a man crawling on the ground.

What the hell? Zhao Rong thought. Is that a student who got injured?

But as he got closer, he was dumbfounded. It was Brother Piao, crawling forward on his hands and knees.

When Brother Piao saw Zhao Rong pass by, he gasped for air. ”Sir! Ma’am! Help me! I ran too fast and... it triggered a heart attack. I can’t... I can’t breathe...”

Seeing Brother Piao looking like he was on his last breath, Zhao Rong’s conscience kicked in. Saving a life is a great merit. Even though Brother Piao is a poseur, I should still save him.

So, Zhao Rong took out his phone to call for an ambulance.

But when Brother Piao saw this, he immediately stopped him. ”Little security guard, I’m just a bit out of breath! No need for an ambulance! Just have someone give me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation so I can breathe again, and I’ll be fine.”

Zhao Rong is a man, and so is his assistant, Brother Piao thought gleefully. A man giving another man mouth-to-mouth would be disgusting. So it has to be one of these beauties who does it for me.

Just as Brother Piao was anticipating a kiss from one of the lovely women, Zhao Rong looked at an elderly scavenger nearby and called out, ”Sir, I’ll give you a thousand yuan to help me out. Is that okay?”

The scavenger walked over. ”Never mind a thousand. I’d help you even for free.”

Delighted, Zhao Rong said, ”Sir, a student from our school is having heart trouble and needs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Could you please help him?”

The old man immediately crouched down, grabbed Brother Piao’s mouth, and began to frantically administer mouth-to-mouth.

Brother Piao, who had been dreaming of a beauty’s lips, could never have imagined that Zhao Rong would hire a scavenger to do it instead. Suddenly, he leaped up from the ground. He kicked the elderly scavenger, sending him flying, and snarled, ”Damn it! I set up a whole scheme to trick a beautiful woman into giving me mouth-to-mouth, and you hired some old scavenger to do it?”

Seeing him kick the old man, Zhao Rong rushed over and helped him up. ”Sir, are you alright?” he asked with concern.

Breaking out in a cold sweat, the old man replied, ”I’m fine. It’s just my back... that kid’s kick really hurts.”

What’s wrong with young people these days? the old man thought. I kindly helped him, saved his life, and he kicks me for it?

Relieved the old man wasn’t seriously injured, Zhao Rong immediately took out one hundred thousand yuan and gave it to him. ”Sir, you don’t have to scavenge anymore. Take this money and enjoy your retirement.”

Moved by Zhao Rong’s generosity, the old man said gratefully, ”Thank you, young man. There aren’t many good young people like you left in the world.”

After making sure the old man was okay, Zhao Rong walked toward Brother Piao. ”You poseur,” he said, his voice cold. ”If you want to put on an act, fine, but why the hell did you have to kick that old man? Don’t you know he’s old enough to be your grandfather?”

At this, Brother Piao took off his glasses and shirt, squaring up for a fight. ”He’s just some old scavenger. So what? Even if I killed him, who would dare say a thing?”

Seeing Brother Piao’s utter disrespect for life, Zhao Rong lost his patience. He took a step forward and warned, ”Poseur, go apologize to that gentleman right now, or I won’t be so polite.”

Brother Piao sneered. ”Damn it, not only will I not apologize to that old scavenger, I’m going to beat the hell out of him!”

With that, Brother Piao lunged, planning to beat up the old man first and then Zhao Rong. But as he rushed past, Zhao Rong intercepted him, grabbing his right hand. In a flash, he executed a reverse joint throw, slamming Brother Piao hard onto the ground. The impact knocked out two of his front teeth.

Mouth full of blood, Brother Piao sputtered, ”Damn it, you dare hit me first?”

Before he could finish, Zhao Rong leaped into the air and brought his foot down in a vicious stomp right on Brother Piao’s mouth. The blow stamped out his remaining two front teeth, two canines, and several molars.

Scrambling to his feet and hopping in pain, Brother Piao searched the ground for his scattered teeth. ”You little security guard! How dare you hit me, Brother Piao! Do you have any idea who I am?”

Zhao Rong looked at him flatly. ”You’re just a poseur. Who else could you be?” He followed up with a flying kick that fractured seven of Brother Piao’s ribs. Zhao Rong chuckled grimly. ”I love beating up poseurs like you who have no respect for their elders.”

Clutching his broken ribs, Brother Piao sat on the ground in agony. ”Never,” he growled, his voice changing, ”never have I, a Werewolf, been so disgraced...”

As he spoke, the poseur known as Brother Piao began to transform, his body twisting and growing into that of a Werewolf.

Seeing the man in front of him turn into a magical beast, Zhao Rong’s eyes widened. Damn, it’s been a while since I’ve killed a magical beast, and my hands are itching for a fight. To think one would serve itself up on a silver platter for me today...

The women were completely shocked to see that Brother Piao was actually a Werewolf hiding among humans.

Miss Lili stared at the transformed creature. ”So you’re a Werewolf. I knew it. No human could possibly be such a show-off.”

Yu Lan looked at the monstrous Brother Piao and said, ”Whoa, so you’re not even human? You’re a wolf? Perfect timing, Brother Zhao Rong is here! Let him kill you, and then he can take your Demon Crystal to concoct medicine.”

Xuelian sized up the creature from head to toe. ”Wow, this is officially the ugliest Werewolf I’ve ever seen. He’s got nothing on Wolverine from the movies.”

Hearing the women’s mockery, the Werewolf became enraged. He tilted his head back and let out a bloodcurdling howl at the sky. ”You dare to insult me? For that, I’ll bite you all to death!”

With a roar, the Werewolf lunged toward Zhao Rong and the others.

Seeing the immense beast pouncing at them, everyone scattered. Just then, Zhao Rong leaped high into the air, landing perfectly on the Werewolf’s back. He grabbed its mane and laughed. ”Werewolf, you might as well just become my mount...”

Saying this, Zhao Rong pulled a small, sharp knife from his keychain, stabbed it into the Werewolf’s rump, and yelled, ”Giddy-up! Run!”

Stabbed in the rear, the Werewolf howled in pain and crashed to the ground, rolling in the dirt. ”Damn you! You dare prick me with that thing? I’ll kill you!”

Zhao Rong, having already dismounted, stood a short distance away. As he watched the Werewolf charge him again, he didn’t dodge. He didn’t even raise a hand in defense.

When the women saw him standing there completely unguarded, they cried out in alarm, ”Brother Zhao Rong, dodge! If its claws hit you, you’ll be maimed, if not killed!”

Yet, faced with the pouncing Werewolf, Zhao Rong remained incredibly calm.

Seeing that Zhao Rong wasn’t even trying to move, the Werewolf laughed wildly. ”You’re dead meat, little security guard!”

However, just as the creature was about to reach him, Zhao Rong suddenly extended his left hand. He spoke to the Magic Ring on his finger, chanting, ”Abracadabra!”

Hearing Zhao Rong spouting nonsense at death’s door, the Werewolf mocked him. ”Scared senseless, are we? You’re already babbling.”

But as the Werewolf’s laugh echoed, a magical lion burst forth from Zhao Rong’s Magic Ring. With its great jaws wide open, it pounced on the charging Werewolf...
