Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 153: Chapter 127: Fighting and Leveling Up, Breaking Through Level 22

When Zhao Rong approached the man from the Island Country while holding a bottle of unidentified liquid, the man was so scared he wet himself. He immediately dropped to his knees, kowtowing to Zhao Rong and pleading, ”Security guard, sir! Please, spare me...”

Although the man was begging for mercy, Zhao Rong opened the bottle and poured the liquid onto him. As it splashed out, a strong scent of fruit vinegar filled the air. Zhao Rong roared with laughter. ”You man from the Island Country! I just brought over a bottle of fruit vinegar and it scared the piss right out of you...”

Seeing it was just fruit vinegar, Xuelian also burst out laughing. ”Zhao Rong, our little act was pretty good! We nearly scared this man from the Island Country to death.”

Originally, the man from the Island Country had stood up, ready to make a last stand with his katana. But the moment he heard Xuelian claim the unidentified liquid in Zhao Rong’s hand was sulfuric acid, he was so frightened that he lost all will to fight. He dropped his katana and knelt to beg for mercy.

Seeing the man groveling, Zhao Rong humiliated him, saying, ”You man from the Island Country, if you act like a dog for us Chinese, maybe I’ll spare your life.”

Hearing this, the man immediately began to imitate a small dog, jumping around in front of Zhao Rong like a clown. Seeing his ugly expression and his cowardly fear of death, Zhao Rong called the police to report a peeping tom.

After completely subduing the man, Zhao Rong pulled the Dragon Crystal from his clothes. As he walked toward the women’s bathhouse, he said, ”I just checked the alchemy manual. The man from the Island Country used one of their local hallucinogens. All it takes is passing the Dragon Crystal over them to lift the effects.”

Seeing that Zhao Rong had the antidote, Xuelian said excitedly, ”Zhao Rong, let’s hurry inside and help all the women get back to normal.”

With that, Xuelian led Zhao Rong toward the women’s bathhouse. But just as she was about to lift the door curtain, a thought struck her. She looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”Zhao Rong, you’re a man about to enter the women’s bathhouse... You have to cover your eyes with a cloth first.”

Saying this, Xuelian tore a strip of fabric from her own black short-sleeved shirt and handed it to Zhao Rong.

As Zhao Rong took the cloth, he thought with disappointment, Looks like feasting my eyes is out of the question.

So, in front of Xuelian, he tied the black cloth over his eyes. However, just as he had given up on the idea of enjoying the view, his nose suddenly started to bleed. Zhao Rong was shocked to discover that as he followed Xuelian into the women’s bathing area, despite the blindfold, he had somehow developed the Piercing Eye. Even with the cloth over his eyes, he could see everything with perfect clarity.

To his left, a woman with flawless, delicate skin was frozen in place, scrubbing herself with a bath towel. To his right, a woman with a chest so large it threw her off balance was frozen while lathering her body with shower gel. In front of him, a woman with buttocks so perky they seemed to reach for the sky was frozen while applying shampoo to her hair. Behind her, a woman with breathtakingly long, beautiful legs was frozen while rinsing soap bubbles from her body.

Nearby, Xuelian saw Zhao Rong holding the Dragon Crystal and dispelling the illusion for everyone. When she noticed his nosebleed wouldn’t stop, she asked in surprise, ”Zhao Rong, why is your nose bleeding?”

Realizing Xuelian had noticed, Zhao Rong quickly wiped at the blood to avoid being found out. ”Lately... I’ve been a bit ’fired up’,” he explained. ”I was already running hot, and then you bring me into a steamy bathhouse like this. It’s only natural that I’d get a nosebleed.”

Hearing Zhao Rong say he was ”fired up,” Xuelian recalled the time she and her three friends had installed cameras in his house. She asked, ”Zhao Rong, since you’re so fired up, why haven’t you... ’cooled down’ recently?”

Hearing her mention ’cooling down’, Zhao Rong feigned distress. ”Sigh, there are no beauties to help me...”

Confused, Xuelian pressed, ”Zhao Rong, does that mean you haven’t been... taking matters into your own hands... lately?”

At her words, Zhao Rong nearly fainted. For a beautiful woman to find out my secret... it can’t get any more embarrassing than this.

By now, Zhao Rong had made a full circuit with the Dragon Crystal. The women he passed the crystal over slowly began to wake up. Just as they were coming to their senses, Zhao Rong quickly exited the bathhouse.

As he emerged, he wiped his nose and thought, Damn, not only was my nose bleeding in there, but things down below were reacting, too...

He couldn’t help but shake his head. My self-control is really getting worse and worse.

A short while later, the women who had been affected by the hallucinogen began to file out of the bathhouse. When Zhao Rong saw that all of them had returned to normal, he thought with relief, It’s a relief that everyone’s recovered. Otherwise, that guy from the Island Country would’ve gotten his way.

Just as he was feeling relieved, he discovered his Piercing Eye had become incredibly powerful. Even when he looked at a fully clothed woman, he could now see right through her attire, as if she were naked.

He couldn’t help but wonder what was happening to him. Ever since I arrived at West Well University and became a bodyguard, I haven’t been cultivating or refining elixirs. And there’s no way my Level 20 cultivation could just increase on its own, right?

As Zhao Rong puzzled over this, he suddenly sensed the True Qi inside his internal Storm. He hadn’t noticed it before, but when he checked, he was stunned. His cultivation level, originally at Level 20, had jumped two full levels to 22.

He wondered if his sudden level-up was because he had been fighting so frequently lately. He mentally tallied his achievements from less than a week at West Well University: he’d beaten up Fei Shao’s gang and Yang Shao’s gang, taught the Four Evil Women a lesson, thrashed the Pisces Duo, and just now, dealt with the man from the Island Country.

It seems that fighting—especially righteous fights that punish evil and uphold justice—can actually help me level up.

At the same time, Zhao Rong understood why he had suddenly acquired the Piercing Eye. It was a new ability he gained from leveling up.

But I can’t just go around using this Piercing Eye in broad daylight all the time, can I?

He decided to temporarily disable his new ability. However, just as he was about to do so, Lili walked out of the bathhouse wearing a strappy floral dress and carrying a shower caddy. When Zhao Rong’s Piercing Eye caught sight of her, his nose began to bleed again.

At that moment, only one number and one letter filled his vision: 36... D...

While he was still marveling at how Lili had suddenly gotten bigger, Yu Lan emerged behind her, swaying her hips as she walked. When Zhao Rong’s Piercing Eye fell upon Yu Lan, he was completely stunned. Another set of numbers and letters appeared in his mind: 36... E...

Wiping his nose, Zhao Rong thought, What the hell? Did these two beauties go to Korea for silicone implants or something? Otherwise, how could their busts have changed so much?

Just then, Xuelian happened to walk up from behind him. When Zhao Rong’s Piercing Eye saw her, his nosebleed erupted in a spray. He looked at Xuelian, and in his eyes...
