Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 160: Chapter 134: The Super Security Guard, Indeed Super

Ba Shao scrambled up from the ground, grabbing a handful of the spilled liquid. Shaking the white fluid from his hand, he roared, ”Who the hell kicked me? Get out here now!”

Just then, the pretty boy who had been watching was stunned to see Zhao Rong seemingly descend from the sky.

”Wow,” the pretty boy said in disbelief, ”everyone’s been saying the school got a super security guard, and it’s true. I just yelled for help, and he dropped from the sky and kicked Ba Shao straight into the trees...” After speaking, he gazed at Zhao Rong with pure admiration.

The beautiful woman who Ba Shao had been threatening also looked at Zhao Rong with surprised relief. She asked with a mix of awe and affection, ”Are you the new, legendary super security guard everyone’s talking about?”

Ba Shao himself couldn’t believe it. ”I’ve run this school for years, and no one has ever dared to curse at me, yet you kicked me? If you’ve got the guts, state your name!”

Zhao Rong was about to speak, but his assistant stepped forward, pointed at Ba Shao, and declared, ”Ba Shao, this is my big bro, the one and only Super Security Guard, Zhao Rong.”

Seeing the assistant he had just beaten up now standing beside Zhao Rong, Ba Shao climbed out of the trees. He wiped the liquid from his hand with a tissue and sneered, ”Damn, so you’re that obscure security guard, Zhao Rong? I’ve been wanting to meet you for a while. I never thought you’d deliver yourself right to my doorstep...”

Before Ba Shao could finish, his lackeys swarmed forward, pointing at Zhao Rong’s nose. ”Damn it, so you’re Zhao Rong? You dare to mess with our boss, Ba Shao? You must have a death wish. Let’s see if we don’t finish you today...”

Facing the arrogant thugs, Zhao Rong calmly questioned Ba Shao, ”So, you’re Ba Shao. Are you the one who beat up my buddy?”

Hearing this, Ba Shao glanced at the assistant next to Zhao Rong and chuckled. ”So, you came here for revenge for your little lackey, huh?”

The assistant stepped forward and stared down Ba Shao. ”Damn right. I’m not a pushover. You think you can beat me up and just walk away?”

Ba Shao roared with laughter. ”In this school, there’s no one I, Ba Shao, don’t dare to hit! So what if I beat you?”

Seeing his unrepentant arrogance, Zhao Rong issued a final warning. ”Ba Shao, I’m giving you one last chance. Apologize to my brother and compensate him for his mental distress, and I’ll let this go. Otherwise...”

Before Zhao Rong could finish, one of Ba Shao’s lackeys stepped forward with a taunt. ”Otherwise what? You gonna bite us?”

With that, Ba Shao’s goons instantly drew weapons from their waists. Faced with the sudden threat, the security guards behind Zhao Rong stood their ground.

The Security Captain stepped forward, shield in hand, and said with a cold glare, ”Ba Shao, don’t underestimate us security guards. We’re not pushovers.”

Security Guard Xiao Liu brandished a rubber baton. ”Don’t think we’re afraid of you just because you’ve got weapons!”

The assistant, in his role as a janitor, took a step back and pulled out a toilet brush. ”Ba Shao, no matter how tough your gang is, you’re no match for our united Security and Janitorial Squad!”

Instantly, the two groups were locked in a standoff. On one side, Ba Shao’s thugs held daggers, machetes, bayonets, and military spikes. On the other, Zhao Rong’s men had shields, rubber batons, and one toilet brush. The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife.

Suddenly, Ba Shao proposed, ”Zhao Rong, since we’re the bosses, let’s not get our hands dirty just yet. I want you to watch how my boys dismantle your little security and janitorial team.” He let out a hearty laugh. In his mind, his men, armed with sharp weapons, could easily wipe the floor with a few guards and a janitor. He wanted Zhao Rong to witness the crushing power of his forces.

Hearing this, Zhao Rong thought to himself, Isn’t he practically begging me to use my Special Abilities?

So, Zhao Rong smiled, his expression relaxed. ”Sure, no problem. Let’s sit back and watch the show. We’ll see whose men are tougher.” With that, he stepped back and sat down on a stone bollard.

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong retreat from the battle, he cried out in horror, ”Zhao Rong! I called you here to get revenge and beat up Ba Shao! How can you listen to him and quit the fight?”

Clearly, the man holding a toilet brush had zero confidence in defeating thugs armed with blades.

The Security Captain added worriedly, ”Zhao Rong, we’re all newbies! If you just sit there and watch, we’re no match for Ba Shao and his gang!”

Security Guard Xiao Liu also said fearfully, ”Zhao Rong, we may have been through a hundred battles, but those were all drills! We’ve never been in a real fight!”

Sitting on the stone, Zhao Rong calmly reassured them, ”Don’t worry, I trust you guys. Just cut loose and fight.”

Sitting nearby, Ba Shao overheard the guards’ panicked words and looked at Zhao Rong with a smug laugh, thinking, What an idiot. He fell for it so easily. I ask him to watch with me, and he just does it. Just you wait. After my boys finish off this pathetic crew, we’ll all come for you together. He couldn’t help but snicker at his own cleverness.

At this moment, Ba Shao’s lackeys were overflowing with arrogance. They thought, As long as the Super Security Guard Zhao Rong stays out of it, crushing these weakling guards and the janitor will be a piece of cake.

With that thought, the thugs charged, brandishing their weapons.

Though Zhao Rong sat calmly on the stone, he was fully prepared to use his Special Ability, Instant Teleportation, at a moment’s notice.

In the blink of an eye, just as Thug A’s knife was about to plunge into the Security Captain’s heart, Zhao Rong made his move. At a speed invisible to the naked eye, he appeared beside the two, swapped their weapons, and returned to his seat.

The sharp knife in Thug A’s hand was now a rubber baton, and the Security Captain’s baton was now a sharp knife.

As Thug A’s strike landed on the captain’s chest, he laughed wildly. ”Security Captain! I told you, white blade in, red blade out! How do you feel now?”

The captain clutched his chest, looking surprised. ”It hurts a bit, but there’s no blood.”

On reflex, the captain swung the weapon in his hand, striking Thug A in the head. Suddenly, blood streamed down the thug’s face. He stared at the rubber baton in his own hand, dumbfounded. ”I stabbed your heart with a knife! How did it turn into a rubber baton?”

The Security Captain’s eyes went wide with disbelief. ”I was only trying to hit your head with the baton! I never meant to stab you with a knife!”

With a knife embedded in his head, Thug A staggered back two steps and collapsed. As he bled out, on the verge of shock, he gasped, ”I thought only Zhao Rong was a Super Security Guard... I never imagined you, the Security Captain, were one too...” With that, Thug A’s eyes closed for good.

Seeing the Security Captain kill his big bro, another thug roared, ”Damn you! You killed my big bro, so I’ll kill your lackey!” With that, he charged forward, swinging his machete.

Watching the blade come at him, the assistant yelled, ”Hey, you’ve got the wrong guy! I’m not the Captain’s subordinate, Xiao Liu! I’m the janitor’s assistant!”

Before he could finish, the thug’s machete came down.

In that split second, Zhao Rong used his Instant Teleportation again, swapping the weapons between the thug and the assistant. The thug brought a toilet brush down on the assistant’s head, while the assistant, now holding the machete, thrust it into the thug’s shoulder. Because of Zhao Rong’s incredible speed, neither combatant realized their weapons had been switched.

The thug cackled triumphantly. ”That’s for my big bro! Now it’s your turn to get chopped!”

The assistant looked at the toilet brush resting on his head, then at the machete buried in the thug’s shoulder. He burst out laughing. ”You little thug, open your eyes! Who’s chopping who here?”

The thug looked down. The machete in his hand had somehow become a toilet brush, while the assistant’s toilet brush was now a machete. To his horror, he realized the assistant’s strike had severed his shoulder blade.

He fell to the ground, clutching his shoulder in shock. ”I always thought the Four Bullies of Xijing University were the baddest of them all,” he stammered, ”but I never realized that the security and janitorial teams are where the real crouching tigers and hidden dragons are.” With that, the thug passed out.

Following this pattern, Zhao Rong disposed of the rest of the thugs. Soon, Ba Shao’s entire crew had been annihilated by the security and janitorial squad, with not a single one left standing.

The Security Captain touched his own forehead, then looked at his arms, thinking, I never would have believed it. Turns out I, the Security Captain, have a unique constitution and am a martial arts prodigy...

Security Guard Xiao Liu replayed the fight in his head. Me, Xiao Liu, a security guard for so many years, always so timid... I can’t believe I’m actually a Martial Arts master!

The assistant, however, stared at the blood-stained machete in his hand and suddenly let out a dramatic roar to the heavens. ”Heaven and Earth are ruthless, treating all creation as straw dogs! Though I, the assistant, am often beaten, even I have my day!”

When Ba Shao saw his entire gang defeated by Zhao Rong’s team, he was utterly dumbfounded. He swallowed hard, his body trembling. ”So the real masters are hidden among the common folk. I was always wondering where all the Martial Arts experts in Xijing City went. It turns out they all came to Xijing University to be security guards and janitors!”

With that realization, Ba Shao turned and ran like a scared turtle.

Seeing him try to flee, Zhao Rong smiled faintly. ”Thinking of running? Not so fast. Taste one of my Flying Legs first!”
