Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 180: Chapter 154: The Flying Knife, Again the Flying Knife

Zhao Rong confronted the ugly coach and warned him one last time. ”Coach, I’m a man. Please respect my gender and get lost.”

Hearing this, the ugly coach continued to pester him. ”Beautiful girl, I must tell you, I’m a very persistent person. If you don’t accept my proposal, I’ll kneel here until you do.”

Zhao Rong gasped, then grabbed the ugly coach by the collar and yanked him to his feet. He followed up with a punch to the stomach. ”I’m a man, not a woman, you dumbass!”

It was a heavy blow, and the ugly coach coughed up blood. Even so, he stared at Zhao Rong and said, ”Little beauty, I truly am a very persistent man. Even if you punch me hard enough to shatter all my organs, I’ll still like you.”

Before the coach could finish, Zhao Rong punched him in the stomach again. ”Goddammit, you son of a bitch! Are you asking to die?”

The second punch made the ugly coach see stars. He stammered, ”Beauty, even if you beat me to death, I’ll still like you. To die beside a beautiful woman is a sweet fate, even for a ghost...”

With that, the ugly coach fainted.

Seeing him passed out, Zhao Rong kicked him away. ”Dammit, what a moron. I tell him I’m a man, and he still proposes to me. He was asking for a beating.”

After Zhao Rong had beaten up the ugly coach, several of his beautiful teammates rushed over.

One of them, a woman with stunningly beautiful legs, looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”Well, hello there. We played a whole game together, and I had no idea you were a man. If I’d known sooner, I definitely would have confessed my feelings to you.” As she spoke, she left Zhao Rong her WeChat ID and phone number.

Then, another beautiful player, this one with hands so perfect they could have belonged to a model, approached him. She waved her hands in front of Zhao Rong and said, ”Hey, handsome, your soccer skills aren’t the only thing that’s cool; the way you just beat that guy up was seriously badass.” With that, the second beauty left him her phone number.

After being hit on by two beautiful women in a row, Zhao Rong looked around at the growing crowd of beauties heading his way. He glanced down at his hands and clothes.

Damn, I need to get out of here. If I stay any longer, my entire body is going to be covered in WeChat IDs and phone numbers.

So, Zhao Rong turned to say his goodbyes to the three women. ”Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, the game’s over. We’re done here, right?”

”Zhao Rong,” Miss Lili said, ”there’s an awards ceremony later. Aren’t you going to attend?”

He shook his head. ”My cover is blown. What’s the point of me attending?”

Yu Lan looked at him. ”Zhao Rong, there’s a banquet after the ceremony. You’re not going to that either?”

Zhao Rong shook his head again. ”Ah, the players on your team and all the female fans are just too enthusiastic. I’m afraid I won’t be able to protect my virtue if I stick around.”

Hearing this, Xuelian, who had been standing in the back, stepped forward. She looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”Don’t be afraid, Zhao Rong, I’m here. As long as I’m by your side, no girl, no matter how beautiful, can take your virginity. Unless...”

Zhao Rong paused. ”Unless what?”

Xuelian smiled. ”Unless I take it first.”

Hearing her words, Zhao Rong joked, ”Xuelian, you seem to be a virgin too, right? Since you’re also a virgin, you probably don’t have any experience. How could a beautiful girl with no experience possibly take my first time?”

In response, Xuelian just smiled. She picked a banana from a nearby fruit basket and, in front of Zhao Rong, ate it as fast as she could. ”Now you know how capable I am, right?”

Zhao Rong sucked in a sharp breath. He looked at Xuelian and said, ”Your skills are impressive. Next time your two roommates are out, you have to call me. I’ll make a special trip to your dorm.”

After speaking, Zhao Rong glanced furtively at the other two, Miss Lili and Yu Lan.

I said that quietly. There’s no way they heard me, right?

But before he could even finish the thought, Miss Lili turned her head. She looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”Xuelian’s skills aren’t bad, but ours are nothing to scoff at either.”

Zhao Rong felt a wave of awkwardness.

Well, I helped them complete their task. So now I can leave and go back to my security squad, right? I can go back to being a simple guard. This feeling of being the center of attention, surrounded by beauties... it’s nice, but it’s a little stressful.

And so, making an excuse, Zhao Rong slipped away before the awards ceremony began.

Once he was off the field, he quickly stripped off the women’s soccer uniform and changed back into his own security guard uniform.

There. No one should notice me now.

He hopped out from behind the flowerbeds next to the field and started walking away with a confident swagger. However, he had only taken two steps before he was suddenly surrounded by seven or eight burly men. Seeing the vaguely familiar thugs, Zhao Rong frowned. ”Gentlemen, I don’t believe we know each other. Why are you blocking my path?”

The burly men glanced at each other and then burst out laughing. ”Kid, don’t think that just because you wiped off your makeup, took off the women’s jersey, and put on a security uniform, we players from the sophomore women’s team wouldn’t recognize you.”

Zhao Rong froze, his mind racing back to the players from the sophomore team—the ones who had been dressed as women. He looked again at the ugly, sinister-looking brutes in front of him.

My god. Aren’t these the same guys from the sophomore team who were cross-dressing on the field?

He couldn’t help but sigh.

The game earlier was called a women’s soccer match, but it was really more like a women-versus-men game.

Zhao Rong looked at the brutes and sneered, ”You bunch of morons. You dressed up as women to play soccer and still got beaten by a group of actual women. You’ve brought shame upon your ancestors.”

The thugs had come looking for trouble, and Zhao Rong’s insult gave them the perfect excuse. One of them jumped forward, pointing a finger at Zhao Rong’s nose. ”You little security guard! You snuck onto the freshman team and beat us! You think you can just win against us and walk away?”

Puzzled, Zhao Rong looked at the man. ”You lose, you accept it. The winner is king, the loser is the villain. So what are you going to do now? Propose a rematch?”

The brutes looked at each other and smirked. ”At Xijing University, for any team that manages to beat our sophomore ’women’s’ team, their star scorer usually doesn’t live to see the next day.”

As they spoke, the men all drew weapons. The first held a throwing knife, his stance that of a trained martial artist. The second brandished a javelin, looking like he’d thrown it a thousand times before. The third held a compound bow, clearly an experienced archer. The fourth, however, held a double-barreled shotgun, obviously a show-off.

Facing their aggression, Zhao Rong licked his lips and feigned fear. ”No wonder no team at this university can beat you guys. It turns out you just eliminate all the good players.”

Hearing this, the four brutes laughed proudly. ”It’s not too late to figure it out. At least now you’ll know why you’re dying.”

The man with the throwing knife stepped forward. Seeing Zhao Rong’s ”frightened” expression, he taunted, ”Look how scared you are, kid. I haven’t even thrown anything yet and you’re already pissing your pants.”

As the brute mocked him, Zhao Rong, still pretending to be terrified, was quietly putting his soft inner armor back on.

Suddenly, the first brute roared, ”Die, Zhao Rong!” He flicked his wrist, sending a throwing knife straight at Zhao Rong’s heart.

Instead of dodging, Zhao Rong stood his ground, upright and fearless. When the knife struck his chest, it didn’t pierce his skin. The tip was blunted, and the knife clattered harmlessly to the ground.

When the four brutes saw he was impervious to blades, they stared, completely stunned.

”Throw more knives!” the second brute yelled at the first. ”Don’t just aim for his heart! Try his lungs, liver, spleen, stomach, his intestines! I refuse to believe we can’t kill him!”

Zhao Rong took in a sharp breath. ”Are you morons planning on eating my organs? You’re being awfully specific.”

Hearing the mockery, the first brute grew even angrier. He furiously unleashed his entire supply of knives, aiming for Zhao Rong’s lungs, liver, spleen, stomach, intestines, gallbladder, and pancreas.

Yet, Zhao Rong remained as unshakable as a mountain.

When the last knife had been thrown, Zhao Rong stood there completely unharmed. In stark contrast to his relaxed, smiling demeanor, the knife-throwing brute was on the ground, panting for breath with his tongue hanging out. ”Damn it,” he said, his voice laced with fear. ”I’ve seen invulnerable people before, but never anyone this badass! I’ve thrown every last knife I have. My biceps and deltoids feel like they’re falling apart, and I still haven’t even scratched him!”

Listening to him, Zhao Rong chuckled. ”Kid, are you all out of throwing knives? I believe it’s my turn now.”

Hearing that Zhao Rong was also going to throw knives, the brute’s eyes went wide. ”What? You’re going to throw them too?”

Zhao Rong nodded. ”You threw more than twenty at me. I was just saving them for you.”

As he spoke, he grabbed ten knives in each hand and, faster than the eye could follow, hurled them at the first brute. Before the man could even react, he was turned into a human pincushion, a hedgehog of his own blades.

Seeing their knife-wielding brother killed in such a stunning reversal, the second brute—the one with the javelin—leaped forward. He glared at Zhao Rong and roared, ”Little security guard, taste my javelin!”
