The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1174: Chapter 1174 Not Afraid of Shu Yu

As soon as Shu Yu finished speaking, the Three Lice burst into laughter.

”You want me to talk just because you say so?” he sneered, gesturing to his companions, ”Let’s go.”

He didn’t take Shu Yu and Ying Xi seriously at all. What was there to worry about with two overly young and delicate girls?

As for that restaurant staff, they were all familiar faces, and he knew his temperament very well.

A kid who just turned from staff to shopkeeper, they even knew where he lived. So he definitely wouldn’t dare meddle, otherwise how could he withstand these hooligans visiting every other day?

The Three Lice wanted to slip away before those men came out.

However, just a few steps into their retreat, a figure appeared in front of them.

Ying Xi drew out the dagger in her hand, holding it out in front of them.

The Three Lice was startled but then laughed again, ”Oh, using a dagger to scare people.”

His underlings mocked, ”Indeed, the sheath of that dagger is all flashy, something for little girls to play with. Just don’t take it out and make a fool of yourself. Otherwise, if you provoke us, it won’t end well for you.”

Ying Xi frowned, and seeing they were about to leave, kicked out at them.

Shu Yu, ”...” So you brought out the dagger just to scare them, huh?

She looked Ying Xi over, suddenly realizing that apart from the dagger, this little girl really didn’t have any handy weapons.

A dagger is suited for close combat or assassination, clearly not the right choice for dealing with people like the Three Lice.

Shu Yu rubbed her chin, thinking: Hmm, she needs a new weapon.

The restaurant staff standing behind her wore a worried expression, wanting to suggest that she call her maid back, there were so many opposing forces after all, in case...

But before the thought even settled, Ying Xi had already knocked all of them to the ground.

The staff was dumbfounded.

Shu Yu snapped back, squatting down in front of the Three Lice and looking at his whimpering, saying with a smile, ”You’ve been kicked out twice; have you learned your lesson? Shouldn’t you tell me why you’re here?”

”It hurts,” Three Lice broke into a cold sweat, feeling that when that damned girl kicked him, it actually hurt more than when that guy kicked him before.

Shu Yu smiled, of course, it hurt.

Earlier, when Meng Yunzheng kicked him, it was a reactionary move under urgency, merely to keep him at a distance, fearing also to involve Uncle Yan nearby, so he didn’t use his full strength.

Ying Xi, on the other hand, was entirely different; she was exceptionally earnest, aiming precisely and using her full force, striving to knock them out so they couldn’t get up.

The Three Lice indeed could no longer straighten his back, only able to lie there, unable even to flee.

Knowing how to read the situation is a mark of a wise person, so he decided to honestly reveal everything.

”We really didn’t plan to do anything. Isn’t that old beggar sick? We haven’t seen him out for two days and thought he might have died inside, so we came to collect...collect...”

Facing Shu Yu’s chilly expression, the Three Lice recoiled, quickly changing his explanation, ”We just came to check. Thinking if he’s gone, then this big house, we brothers could take over, right? In the past, when that old beggar was lively and well, he was incredibly skilled, and none of us could handle him. Now it’s rare to see him in trouble, so we wanted to seize the opportunity.”

Shu Yu narrowed her eyes, ”But once you came in, you should have seen him alive and well, so why were you still putting him in the sack?”
