My Alleged Husband

Chapter 445: Chapter 424 I Didn’t Lie!_1

”Alright, alright, no more huffing and puffing here. I still hope you can reach out to your contacts and thoroughly investigate who that woman is. In the middle of the night, to actually stop a child, not allowing him to go home, what is she up to? Harbouring ill intentions? Doesn’t she know that by taking a child and not letting her go home, her parents would be heartbroken? Why is there such a selfish woman, who on earth is she?”

”Grandpa, rest assured, I will investigate this matter as soon as possible. I, too, want to find out who this woman really is. To be honest, I don’t believe that my son would lie to us. Even if he had the greatest audacity, he wouldn’t dare lie about such a thing. Not coming home in the middle of the night indeed made the entire family frantic, but this can’t just be left at that; he must be punished. And if I find out who this woman is, I will definitely bring her to court. I absolutely cannot let her off easily. To think she even attempted child abduction in the middle of the night. If my son doesn’t come home safely tonight, I will never let this person off for the rest of my life. He came back safe, and that’s that, but I still can’t just easily let it go!”

”Stop talking about all these things here; just hurry up and find someone for me. Once found, I’ll definitely make sure she’s harshly brought to justice, so she can never walk free again for the rest of her life. Daring to abduct my son, didn’t she think there are laws anymore? Are they blind to the laws in their eyes? These incidents happen time and again, and now it’s even happened to someone in my family. Child abduction is such a grave matter, I don’t understand who this woman is? Why does my son call her a strange grandma?”

Upstairs...

”Nai’er, tell your mom honestly, did you lie at all? Why didn’t you come back in the middle of the night, telling your dad and mom that some ’strange grandma’ was holding you and wouldn’t let you go home? What exactly happened? Don’t you know that coming back in the middle of the night would make your dad and mom worried? Do you realize how you’ve turned the whole house upside down, everyone is on edge? With so many child abductions happening outside, even if you’re very bold, you shouldn’t be outside for so long. Do you know how dangerous it is for a person to walk around by themselves in the dead of night? Tell me, who is that ’strange grandma’? Why was she holding onto you? And why do you call her ’strange grandma’?”

”Mom, I really don’t know who the strange grandma is either. I just met her on my way home, but she kept holding me and wouldn’t let me go. I told her many times that my dad and mom would worry if I didn’t go home. I don’t want to make my dad and mom anxious, but she just wouldn’t let me leave, and I didn’t know what to do. She’s an adult and I’m just a child. I was afraid that if I used too much force and pushed her down, something would happen, and I would be responsible. But if I didn’t urge her, she would just keep holding onto me and not let me go. I’m really worried too. It’s my fault this time. I shouldn’t have gone out to play in the middle of the night and come home so late, making dad, mom, and great-grandpa worry about me. But it really wasn’t on purpose.”

”Are you sure every word you said tonight is the truth, and you didn’t lie to mom at all? If you lied and mom found out, she would never forgive you in her lifetime. Afterward, don’t call me mom again, no matter what you do outside. Mom always hopes you understand that children can’t lie. Do you know? Children who lie are not good children, and such children will only be taken away by others. Do you know how worried and scared your dad and mom were that something terrible happened to you because you came back so late? But being able to see you safely home again made us quite happy. However, when you came back and told us about a ’certain grandma’, our worries and fears grew even more. Is there really another strange grandma popping up? Could it be that the person abducting children has appeared again? Could it be that this time the target of the child abductor is you?”

”Mom, I’ll tell you again, I didn’t lie, I didn’t lie, I didn’t lie. Why do you always think I’m lying? You just don’t trust your son, do you? Since you don’t trust me and don’t have strong connections, go and investigate then. Find that bad woman for me; I don’t want to see that strange person again. She’s really annoying, really annoying. Every time I want to go home, she keeps pulling me there. I hate her, I hate her. Go and investigate her then. Don’t you have strong relationships to rely on? Don’t you believe my words? Just catch this person so then you can believe my words, and we can confront her then. I never expected my mom and dad wouldn’t trust me and always feel like I’m lying. Am I such a detestable child in your eyes? Ever since I was little until now, I have never lied to anyone, even when I missed my grandparents, I spoke clearly and directly to you about it. Even when I also wanted a brother and sister by my side, I told you clearly and directly. Did I say anything wrong? But why do you all feel it’s my fault, that I’m lying to you? Don’t you trust me in your heart? You’re my mom and dad, not my enemies. Even enemies would at least trust me a bit, but why don’t my mom and dad trust me and doubt me so much? I really didn’t lie. That strange lady is annoying to death. I just hate her, just hate her. Go and catch her then. Why because of that strange grandma did my mom and dad start to doubt me and say all these things, always feeling that I’m lying? My mom and dad don’t love me anymore. It’s because of the appearance of that strange grandma. I hate that strange grandma, she should never appear before me again. Because of her appearance, my mom and dad have chosen not to trust their own son anymore. Because of her, my home has been turned upside down; she’s made me unable to come home in the middle of the night, and made my mom and dad worry and panic. Why has her appearance caused so much trouble, is she really the one abducting children? If she’s targeting me, I’m not afraid of her. I hate that strange grandma and don’t want her to ever appear before me again.”
