My Alleged Husband

Chapter 68: Chapter 66: Devil Training_1

”Jiayuan, it’s getting late, why don’t you go ahead? Remember to come in tomorrow morning to report; I’ll have your coach arranged for you!” Xia Jing glanced at the time and spoke to Li Jiayuan.

Li Jiayuan hesitated for a moment, and after thinking it over, since she had left home and couldn’t return now, she would have to rent a place to stay temporarily. In the end, she agreed with Xia Jing, ”Um... then I’ll head back first, you take care of the arrangement for me!”

After Li Jiayuan went out, Xia Jing immediately returned home. By the time she got there, Zhang Zhentian was sitting at the door of their house. She walked towards Zhentian and asked, ”Zhentian, what are you doing here?”

As soon as he saw Xia Jing return, Zhang Zhentian hurriedly spoke up, ”You’re finally back, I’ve been here waiting for you almost all night.”

”Then you should get up; sitting on the ground for too long will make you catch a cold!” After saying this, Xia Jing reached out to help Zhang Zhentian up.

Zhang Zhentian was stunned: Is Xia Jing actually reaching out to help me up? Am I dreaming? This happiness is too sudden.

”Are you getting up or not? If you’re not, then I’m going inside!” Xia Jing said to the dazed Zhentian and was about to turn and enter the house.

”Getting up, definitely getting up,” Zhang Zhentian panicked, and although he knew Xia Jing’s personality, he never expected that she would just turn around and walk away without any courtesy after saying she’d help him up.

When Xia Jing heard him say this, she reached out her hand again. Zhentian, excited, grabbed hold of Xia Jing’s hand and prepared to stand, but he almost fell as soon as he stood up. Xia Jing instinctively reached out to support him and quickly asked, ”Are you okay?”

Zhang Zhentian smiled awkwardly at Xia Jing and said, ”I’m fine, I just sat here too long, and my feet got a bit numb!”

Xia Jing looked at Zhentian and said, ”Let’s go inside! Can you tell me when you got here?”

Zhang Zhentian couldn’t help but sigh and said, ”When you called me, I was about to answer, but then you hung up. I thought something happened to you, so I rushed over. When I got here, your neighbor said you were out, and I’ve been waiting ever since. I didn’t expect it to be for several hours. By the way, where have you been all this time at night?”

Xia Jing swallowed hard, not expecting Zhang Zhentian had sat here for so long because of her call, and she stuttered, ”I went to meet with Li Jiayuan, so that’s why I got back this late.”

”So you were with her, and still called me?” Zhang Zhentian didn’t understand why Xia Jing called him only to hang up without connecting.

Xia Jing felt even more embarrassed talking about this matter: ”Actually, I called you because... because I wanted to find out when Li Jiayuan and Xiao Wei started being together, so I used that method, please don’t be angry.”

Zhang Zhentian felt a bit upset and asked Xia Jing, ”Xia Jing, am I less than a stranger in your eyes? I can’t believe you’d use me just to find out someone else’s secret. Tell me, Xia Jing, what do I mean to you? I don’t mind you using me, but you can’t keep using me over and over. I’m a person, not a tool for you to achieve your goals...”

Zhang Zhentian was really infuriated; he thought he had treated Xia Jing well enough, but never imagined she would use him for someone else’s secret.

Xia Jing truly hadn’t expected that Zhentian was so eloquent, speaking smoothly and fluently.

Seeing that Zhang Zhentian was about to say something else, Xia Jing went straight over to hug him and kissed him. The words Zhentian was about to say were sealed in his throat by Xia Jing’s sudden kiss. He felt her overflowing passion and responded to Xia Jing, the two kissing each other intensely.

After a while, Xia Jing, with a flushed face and lowered head, said to Zhentian, ”You are the most important person to me, you matter to me more than anyone else. I was wrong today; please don’t be angry!”

”Yes, okay!” Zhang Zhentian nodded woodenly.

Xia Jing smiled and then got up from Zhang Zhentian’s embrace to dress and send a message to the coaches of the team.

”Elder Sister Xia, do you have any instructions?”

”Tomorrow morning a girl will come to report in. Then, you’ll go train her. Remember, training must be strict. Don’t cut corners just because she was brought in by me. Understand?” Xia Jing’s fingers tapped away on the keyboard, quickly typing out everything she wanted to say.

”Understood. I will definitely follow your arrangements and put her through hellish training!”

”Good, that’s settled then. Everything must be done by the book, and we can’t let one person disrupt all the rules here!”

”Okay, then Elder Sister Xia, you should rest early!”

”Alright, bye~”

Having replied to the messages, Xia Jing immediately shut down the computer.

The next day, at the training camp.

”Hello, I am here to report. May I ask where Coach Yang is?” Li Jiayuan was dressed in a skirt and was even wearing high heels to report in.

Coach Yang, appearing behind Li Jiayuan without her noticing, said, ”I am Coach Yang. Are you the person Elder Sister Xia said would come to report today?”

When Li Jiayuan heard Coach Yang speaking to her, she deliberately pulled her skirt and said, ”Yes, hello, Coach Yang. My name is Li Jiayuan, just calling me Jiayuan will be fine!”

Coach Yang said disdainfully, ”You don’t need to try and ingratiate yourself with me. If you are here to train, then do as you’re supposed to. Look at you, who comes to training dressed in a skirt and high heels? With that outfit, I could refuse to have you train here right now; we don’t have trainees like you here! Hmph, come back to me once you’ve changed into proper attire!”

Without a hint of courtesy, Coach Yang turned and left, leaving Li Jiayuan hanging there. Her head was still in a fog, thinking, Xia Jing didn’t tell me what to wear, right? Why do they even care about what you wear here?

”Why are you still standing there?” Seeing Li Jiayuan frozen in place, not moving, Coach Yang couldn’t help but remind her.

”I’ll go right away, right away!” Li Jiayuan hurried off to change her clothes, and looking at the coach, she said, ”Can I start now like this?”

Coach Yang really didn’t know what to make of Li Jiayuan. Even though he had said the attire was not suitable, she only changed her skirt for trousers; the shoes were still high heels. He said to Li Jiayuan, ”Are you sure you’re going to wear that?”

Li Jiayuan looked at her outfit, feeling there was nothing wrong with it, and said, ”Reporting to the coach, I’m sure!”

”Fine, very well, then our training officially begins now!” Coach Yang said, ”You will now run five laps around this thousand-meter field to warm up. Remember, you’re not allowed to take off the shoes while running!”

Li Jiayuan was stunned, not understanding what her coach meant. Just as she was about to ask, the coach said, ”Why aren’t you running yet? If you don’t start now, you’ll run ten laps.”

”I’m running, I’ll run now!” Li Jiayuan said and immediately started her training. Wearing high heels, she couldn’t bear it after just half a lap; by the time she finished the fifth lap, she could no longer walk!
