Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 601: Chapter 600: A Relaxing Holiday

”So, who is this young lady?”

Intagura looked at Fang Zheng in front of her and barely suppressed the urge to throw the cigar box on the table at his face. Honestly, when Fang Zheng brought Ester to Intagura and Walter, both of them were utterly baffled.

Although the place seemed relaxed externally, the security was, in fact, quite stringent. What Intagura hadn’t anticipated was that under such circumstances, Fang Zheng could bring a person right under her nose without her noticing at all...

Intagura had already decided to thoroughly review HELLSING’s security issues later.

”Her name is Ester.”

Fang Zheng was indifferent to Intagura’s almost murderous glare. Though this young lady was quite formidable, and ordinary men found themselves speechless in her presence, Fang Zheng was far from an ”ordinary man.” Therefore, he promptly disregarded Intagura’s glare and pushed Ester, who was beside him, forward.

”She is my Pact Spirit, um... I thought it best to introduce you, to avoid complications if you were to encounter her later and need to find me...”

”Pact... Spirit?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s introduction, Intagura, Walter, and Seras looked at each other in confusion. They understood each word said by Fang Zheng, but put together they couldn’t make sense of it.

”Forget it, seeing is believing.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng stretched out his hand and aimed it at Ester.

”Ester, show them.”

”Yes, Master.”

Upon Fang Zheng’s command, the silver-haired girl gently nodded her head, and the next moment... an unbelievable scene unfolded.

In front of them, the silver-haired girl’s body suddenly began to disintegrate, quickly transforming into a Silver Short Sword!

”This, what is this...?!”

Seeing this spectacle, even Intagura, who was usually a serious and efficient woman, widened her eyes and stood up, staring in disbelief at the Silver Short Sword in Fang Zheng’s hand. Although Intagura knew that many strange things existed in the world, such as vampires from legends, a girl who could turn into a sword... or perhaps a sword that could turn into a girl... No, Intagura felt as if her entire worldview was collapsing.

Not just Intagura, but Walter, who was always calm and collected, also showed a look of astonishment, as for Seras, the immature vampire... her jaw nearly hit the floor.

”This can’t possibly be some kind of trickery, Mr. Fang Zheng! Where have you hidden that child?”

Seras dashed to Fang Zheng in a few strides and started looking around him.

”I’ve seen this kind of magecraft; if I remember correctly, there should be a mechanism here, Mr. Fang Zheng, you must have tampered with something!”

”I haven’t tampered with anything, and this isn’t magecraft.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng once again tossed the Silver Short Sword, the sword glinted in the air, and the next moment, Ester reappeared before everyone.

”Such beings exist... I’ve never seen anything like this...”

Looking at Ester in front of her, Intagura muttered to herself, but her ability to cope was slightly better than that of Seras, the rookie. So, she soon cleared her throat, sat down again, and regained her usual composure.

”Alright, I understand. Then, Miss Ester, I will also prepare an identity proof for her.”

”Thank you.”

This was the primary reason why Fang Zheng brought Ester to meet Intagura. HELLSING was not a place people could enter and leave as they wished. Although Fang Zheng could also revert Ester back into her weapon form and withdraw her into the crest, having her appear and disappear repeatedly could easily raise suspicions. Therefore, Fang Zheng opted to clarify things straightforwardly with Intagura, not fearing that she would be tempted by greed.

In fact, Fang Zheng might have even hoped she would be tempted.

After all, as a Paladin, it was his duty to uphold good and eradicate evil.

”That’s it, I plan to take Ester out for a bit today; we’ll probably be back in the afternoon. Call if you need something.”

At least Fang Zheng also counted as an employee, so reporting to his boss before going out was necessary. Anyway, he wasn’t worried about his boss using absenteeism as a pretext to deduct his salary.

”Good, no problem.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Intagura quickly responded. Then, she looked towards Ester again with a curious expression.

”I remember you are supposed to use dual swords, so the other sword is also...”

”Yes, she is also one of my pact spirits, but she is currently in a state of slumber and won’t wake up for now.”

This was what Ester told Mr. Fang Zheng. The other pact spirit also possessed considerable strength, but for now, Mr. Fang Zheng was unable to awaken her, so she remained asleep. In other words, if Mr. Fang Zheng wanted to awaken the other pact spirit, he would have to further increase his own strength... Obviously, that wouldn’t be possible for the time being.

After this, Mr. Fang Zheng left with Ester, while Seras watched the young girl following him with eager eyes, displaying a trace of envy.

”Oh... Mr. Fang Zheng actually has such a cute pact spirit, it’s really wonderful...”

While saying this, Seras looked towards the cannon placed by the wall.

I wonder what my weapon would look like if it had a spirit?

Would it be a handsome young man?

While Seras was lost in fantasy holding her cannon, Mr. Fang Zheng and Ester had also left the Hellsing headquarters. It must be said that Intagura, the boss, was indeed commendable — not only did she approve Mr. Fang Zheng’s leave, but she also considered that Mr. Fang Zheng didn’t have a driver’s license, hence she specifically arranged a car and driver for him... Although there was also a hint of surveillance, Mr. Fang Zheng didn’t mind; such a considerate boss was hard to find nowadays.

”Master, where are we going?”

Sitting beside Mr. Fang Zheng, Ester curiously looked out the window and asked, and Mr. Fang Zheng quickly provided an answer.

”Let’s head to Chinatown first for breakfast, then go shopping and look at some sights... just wander around.”

Mr. Fang Zheng had made a plan early in the morning. Although he now had Ester with him, he did not intend to alter his itinerary. Besides, Mr. Fang Zheng hadn’t eaten anything since the morning.

It didn’t take too long; Mr. Fang Zheng and Ester arrived at London Chinatown in the central district, a place in the city with a deeply Oriental atmosphere. Apart from the arches on the streets, one could also see red lanterns everywhere, as well as stone lions displayed on both sides. Many people with oriental faces were walking here and there, making the place quite lively.

”Master, what place is this?”

”A nice place.”

Looking at the scene before him, Mr. Fang Zheng sighed and then took Ester out of the car.

”Come on, I’ll take you for some good food!”

Anyway, it had to be better than fish and chips!

”They went to Chinatown?”

While Mr. Fang Zheng and Ester were excitedly going out to explore, Intagura also received a report from Walter, and upon knowing that Mr. Fang Zheng had taken Ester to a teahouse in Chinatown for morning tea, Intagura was momentarily speechless.

”Since they aren’t doing anything unusual, let them be.”

Waving her hand, Intagura set this minor issue aside, then her expression immediately turned serious.

”Walter, is everything ready?”

”Yes, Young Lady.”

Upon hearing Intagura’s inquiry, Walter respectfully gave his response.

”All preparations for the Round Table meeting are complete, just waiting for the knights to arrive.”

”Good.”

Intagura nodded with satisfaction and then she pulled out something resembling a chip from her bosom, staring at it coldly.

”We must quickly find that damned bunch of lunatics and completely eliminate them!”

As she said this, Intagura stood up and marched toward the door, but as she reached the doorway, she seemed to remember something and turned to glance at Walter.

”Right, Walter. Raise the security level of the Hellsing organization; I do not wish to see another girl I don’t know and haven’t heard of suddenly appearing before me without any report.”

”Yes, Young Lady, I will take care of it immediately.”
