Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

When Fang Zheng rushed back to the Hellsing headquarters, the scene before him made him exclaim in shock.

”Damn, this is really bad!”

In front of Fang Zheng, the originally tightly shut iron gate had been completely destroyed, turned into a pile of twisted, broken metal. And at this moment, in the nearby Western Mansion, one could still hear the dense crackle of gunfire.

”Looks like I’m not too late... You go find a place to take shelter, Ester, come with me!”

Having said this to the driver without waiting for the car to stop, Fang Zheng flung open the door and leaped out. Ester also followed suit by springing up from the back seat, jumping into the air, and when she landed again, the girl had transformed into a silver-white claw dagger. Simultaneously, Fang Zheng summoned the pitch black greatsword that lay dormant in the emblem on his right hand and, like a whirlwind, charged into the Western Mansion.

”Bang, bang, bang!!”

The instant Fang Zheng stepped into the Western Mansion, a barrage of bullets instantly assaulted him. The whistling bullets were enough to turn any reckless invader into a sieve, but without hitting the target, they were meaningless.

Fang Zheng’s figure flashed past the entrance, and immediately, countless bullets hit where he had just been standing, shattering the hard floor into fragments. After dodging the enemy’s spray of bullets, Fang Zheng raised his right hand, and the pitch black greatsword in his hand instantly split apart, becoming a shadow that dashed through the crowd. The next moment, with blood splattering, the enemies in front of him were instantly turned into chunks of flesh scattered all over the ground. It wasn’t until then that Fang Zheng finally stopped and carefully surveyed his foes.

However, after getting a clear look at them, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but jump in fright.

”Damn, isn’t this a bit too much?”

It’s no wonder Fang Zheng was so surprised, because in front of him stood not just ordinary enemies.

But ”fully armed” enemies.

Not only were they clad in bulletproof vests, holding riot shields, wearing heavy helmets and gas masks, their right hands were also wielding submachine guns... This appearance suggested nothing less than an elite suppression unit.

Had the Hellsing organization truly been hung out to dry by the British Royal Court?

Looking at the scene before him, Fang Zheng didn’t know what to say for a moment. When he received the notice that a ghoul army had invaded Hellsing, he thought it was a scene from Resident Evil. But from what he saw now... Damn, the opposition had actually dispatched a whole army?

Is this really okay?

Even though the Hellsing headquarters was not at the center of London, it was still in London. To let these unidentified individuals with heavy equipment run amok and even directly assault a government establishment without intervention—aren’t you taking it too lightly?

If these people had decided to target Buckingham Palace instead of Hellsing, the Queen might very well have been finished by now.

Is it really okay for the capital’s security to be so lax?

Seems like the United Kingdom is in big trouble!

However, this had nothing to do with Fang Zheng, so he simply made a few sarcastic remarks and then immediately turned around, following the direction from which the ghoul troops had charged.

The gunfire grew more intense, making it clear that the defense troops had almost no strength left. When Fang Zheng turned another corner, he saw several Hellsing soldiers at another staircase entrance desperately holding back the ghoul legion’s assault, using their terrain advantage.

They were indeed putting forth a valiant effort, but the problem was... the enemy was just too unfair.

Shields and bulletproof vests blocked most of the attacks from the Hellsing defense troops, and even if someone blew off the ghouls’ heads, it wouldn’t stop them from continuing their movements. One could even see headless ghouls still raising their guns and firing blindly ahead... Technological progress had made these non-human entities an increasing threat.

But the most threatening presence wasn’t these ghouls.

A man dressed in a white suit and wearing glasses, with blond hair, stood behind the ghouls, coldly watching the guards who were fighting determinedly. Then Fang Zheng saw his figure flash, and in the next instant, like a specter, he silently pounced toward the guards. The blond man’s dagger swiftly cut through the air, aimed at one of the guard’s bodies. And the guard, who was firing his gun, had no clue of the impending danger until...

”Clang!”

The pitch black greatsword suddenly extended from the side, blocking the dagger that was about to slice through the soldier’s neck.

```
”What?”
```

Seeing that his attack was actually blocked, the blond man was immediately shocked, but before he could react, a fist suddenly appeared in front of him and struck him heavily on the bridge of his nose, sending him flying!

”Lord Fang Zheng?!”

For these defense soldiers, they had no idea what had happened; they only knew that just moments ago, they had been fighting those damned ghouls. But in the next instant, everything before their eyes blurred, and then a blond man appeared out of nowhere in front of them before being thrown into the midst of the ghouls, and at the same moment, Lord Fang Zheng’s figure also appeared beside them unexpectedly.

”You’re back, Lord Fang Zheng!”

Seeing Fang Zheng return, the spirits of the defense soldiers were lifted. Although they were only responsible for the defense of HELLSING, they also performed peripheral security tasks on-site, so they had witnessed Fang Zheng’s capabilities. If that reckless policewoman seemed unreliable, then Fang Zheng’s formidable strength was something they all admired.

”Leave this place to me, go to Intagura’s side, it should be safer there.”

”Yes, Master!”

Although Fang Zheng had no authority to command these soldiers, upon hearing his words, the soldiers quickly nodded in agreement. However, soon after, one who looked like the captain voiced his concern anxiously.

”But Lord Fang Zheng, we just received a message that the path to the upper level on the other side has already been broken through...”

”Focus on taking care of yourselves for now. That woman Intagura is not so easy to kill. You all should be careful as well.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng raised the greatsword in his hand.

”Alright, leave this place now.”

”Yes!”

Because the blond man had been sent flying by Fang Zheng, the attack of the ghoul legion had temporarily halted. This was also the greatest weakness of these creatures; once they lost their commander, they were nothing but a disorderly mob, acting only on instinct. And the defense soldiers took this opportunity to run towards the second floor, quickly leaving the battlefield. frёeweɓηovel_coɱ

”So it’s true... I had heard that HELLSING had recruited a peculiar hunter, and that’s you, isn’t it?”

Accompanying the sound, the blond man stood up again and walked out from the midst of the ghoul legion, staring coldly at Fang Zheng. The blond man had been somewhat handsome, but because of Fang Zheng’s punch just now, his nose had been skewed to one side, and his mouth and clean white suit were smeared with blood. Even though the vampire’s remarkable healing ability allowed his injuries to heal quickly, the wretchedness on his face was not so easily erased.

”I didn’t expect... I thought the rumors were exaggerated, but it turns out there really is someone who dares to stand in front of a vampire.”

Staring coldly at Fang Zheng, the blond man’s eyes showed an uncontrollable loathing.

”Good, I had intended to eliminate Alucard directly, but now I’ve changed my mind. Since you stand in my way, I’ll let you experience what true power is!”

While speaking, the blond man snapped his fingers.

”Snap.”

The next moment, dozens of ghoul soldiers raised their weapons, but this time, they didn’t get a chance to pull the trigger.

The pitch-black shadow of the sword roared like a tornado sweeping through the crowd. Soon after, the ghoul soldiers were swept up in the air. The heavy protective suits and shields they wore provided no defense at all. The sharp blades effortlessly cut through the bodies of the ghouls and their shields, slicing them up like ham in the blink of an eye.

Blood sprayed out, staining the blond man’s white suit, turning his originally clean attire dirty and sordid.

”True power?”

Fang Zheng flicked his hand lightly and the chain sword swiftly retracted, once again becoming a pitch-black greatsword. Meanwhile, Fang Zheng closed his eyes, then slowly opened them again.

”With just a lowly little bat like you, you dare to boast about power?”
