Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 613: Chapter 612: They Made a Choice

The searchlight turned on, and hundreds of police officers surrounded Fang Zheng, snipers were in position, and three helicopters circled overhead. All this, just for one man standing in the center of the stadium.

It seems that organization had already infiltrated the upper echelons of this country, but that had nothing to do with me.

Looking at the police and soldiers before him, Fang Zheng shook his head and then he raised the Greatsword in his hand. Soon, the Greatsword began to burn with a bright red flame once more.

Then, he swung the sword down.

”—————!!”

The howling sword wind crossed the entire stadium at that moment; it tore through the earth and then left a gap more than ten meters wide on the outer wall of the stadium. Witnessing this scene, the onlookers were dumbfounded, their eyes widened, questioning if they had seen an illusion.

Following this, Fang Zheng’s voice resounded above the entire stadium.

”Mortals, what you are facing is an existence you can never defeat. I do not know whose orders brought you here, but I will give you one chance, lay down your weapons, and then leave. This is your last chance, leave now, mortals, otherwise, the only outcome for you is death!”

Fang Zheng’s voice echoed across the stadium, overpowering even the roaring sound of the helicopters. Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, those policemen and soldiers who had raised their weapons began to hesitate. If Fang Zheng’s words had seemed somewhat exaggerated before, the sight of him splitting the stadium with a single strike made it clear to anyone who was not a fool that they were not dealing with merely a ”terrorist” as described in their orders.

But... what now?

The crowd looked at each other, and even the scene’s Commander started to have second thoughts; if they didn’t realize the situation was far from as simple as their superiors had described before, then they would really be foolish. But... to leave... If they truly just left...

”What are you doing? Act now, kill him!! Act! Fire! Fire!!”

”Bang!”

Finally, amid the desperate orders from a superior, accompanied by the first gunshot, the battle resumed.

Full-gear soldiers raised their guns and aimed at Fang Zheng at the center of the stadium, raining down bullets madly, the countless bullets submerging Fang Zheng’s silhouette amidst rising dust.

It seems you have made your choice.

Watching the people crazily attacking him, Fang Zheng shook his head. He was not a person who liked to kill innocents, but since these people had chosen to be his enemies, stood in his way, and attacked him, then there was only one outcome for them. Thinking this, Fang Zheng closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

”—————!!”

The thunderous roar of the Dragon’s chant suddenly erupted from the center of the stadium, engulfing the entire Rio de Janeiro. The policemen were the first to feel as if an invisible hammer was smashing in front of them, crying out as they were blown backwards, then the roof and ceiling of the stadium couldn’t bear the immense sound wave and began to collapse, falling apart.

Dust scattered everywhere; Maracana Stadium collapsed in an instant, and as the entire building crumbled like a storm-shattered billboard, the earth-shaking roar swept across Rio de Janeiro like a violent storm.

Almost everyone heard that dragon chant, and as they heard it, a tremendous fear welled up from the depths of their hearts. Soon, those whose wills were not strong enough simply collapsed unconscious on the ground. Those who barely maintained consciousness felt weak in their limbs; they seemed paralyzed as they fell to the ground, some even lost control of their bladder and bowels, trembling all over, chattering their teeth, their minds a blank, not even knowing who they were or why they were there.

Such is the power of the Dragon.

When Fang Zheng opened his eyes again, the once luxurious and beautiful stadium was now just a pile of ruins, and most of the soldiers and police had been buried under the wreckage. A few who had miraculously escaped soon suffered mental collapses due to the subsequent Dragon Might; they sat on the ground, their eyes wide and drooling as they laughed foolishly, their eyes vacant, seeing no trace of clarity or sanity.

The three helicopters in the sky also began to sway left and right, and soon they collided with each other, then turned into balls of fire as they fell to the ground.

”This is quite a mess,”

Watching the ruins before him, Fang Zheng shrugged his shoulders, and the next moment, with the night breeze, his figure just disappeared into the darkness.

”This is a declaration of war, millennium, clean your necks and wait...”

The night continued unabated.

But for Intagura, it was a sleepless night.

”Walter... my choice... was it right?”

Intagura looked solemnly at the computer screen before her, the information displayed there caused her heart to race with fear.

Although Intagura had previously received calls from Alucard and Fang Zheng, knowing that they were surrounded by Millennium, she ultimately decided to issue the order for them to continue with their mission. Anyone, no matter who, if they dared to stand in the way of HELLSING, they had only one fate—death!

This is what Intagura thought, and what she did.

Yet, even so, when she saw the final outcome, even Intagura couldn’t help but tremble.

Alucard had eliminated all the police who had stormed their hotel and had engaged in a thrilling battle with the members of Millennium. Many people got involved, and there were heavy casualties.

However, compared to the destruction caused by Fang Zheng, that was like a child’s play.

Accompanied by the roar of the dragon, almost all of Rio de Janeiro was paralyzed, and when Fang Zheng’s Dragon Might erupted, everyone in the city felt an indescribable fear. They either fainted or lost control of their bodies in an instant. As a result, during that period, out-of-control vehicles collided with each other, completely paralyzing the city’s traffic. Subsequently, the number of people urgently sent to hospitals for various reasons reached as high as one hundred and fifty thousand.

This city, regarded as a holiday paradise, had become a battlefield overnight.

Although officially it was claimed to be a natural disaster, Intagura was sure that it was Fang Zheng’s doing.

”Perhaps, I made a mistake...”

For the first time, Intagura began to doubt whether her collaboration with Fang Zheng was the right decision. Before, she thought Fang Zheng was very powerful but, in Intagura’s eyes, the most evil and terrifying things in this world were still those vampires. But now, Intagura didn’t think so anymore—Fang Zheng could paralyze a metropolis of millions in a snap of his fingers, without any resistance; this level of menace was far more formidable than any vampire!

At least vampires, even when they feed and increase the number of ghouls, there is a process. During this process, humans can still resist, and run away.

But with Fang Zheng... Intagura didn’t even know what he had done exactly!

There was simply no way to prepare!

”Whether it’s right... Young Lady, I am merely a butler.”

In response to Intagura’s query, Walter just smiled and provided his answer.

”However, if you need, I can contact Lord Fang Zheng for you...”

”......”

Hearing Walter’s suggestion, Intagura turned her gaze to the phone beside her, seeming somewhat hesitant. To be honest, Intagura no longer regarded Fang Zheng as human, but she didn’t consider him a vampire either. If he was neither human nor vampire, then what was he?

What kind of being could possess such terrifying power?

Intagura hesitated for a moment, then she reached out, picked up the handset next to her.

”No, I will contact him directly.”

Then, Intagura began to speak.
