Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 600: Chapter 599: What on Earth Did I Do Last Night?

When he awoke from his dreams once again, it was already morning.

”Huhhh...”

Gazing at the brilliant sunlight outside the window, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but yawn. After arriving in this world, he was finally able to get a good night’s sleep. Back in Anan World, Fang Zheng used to nap on chairs and floors, and although his physical constitution made this bearable, there was no denying that a soft bed was far more comfortable.

So, what should he do today?

As he observed the scenery outside, Fang Zheng began to ponder. As an ”external member” of HELLSING, there wasn’t much for Fang Zheng to do. Normally, he would just laze around or kill time, only taking action when a mission required his involvement. The rest of the time he could simply wander around.

After all, the internal workings of HELLSING had nothing to do with Fang Zheng, not to mention the political and religious affairs that didn’t require his attention or intervention.

Maybe he could take a walk in the city and look for Chinatown in London. The cuisine of England certainly lived up to its reputation. Even though the HELLSING family was of the nobility, and Walter was a decent butler, the meals provided here left Fang Zheng feeling rather depressed. Cheese, toast, beef, bread, potatoes... and when you add peas and fruits into the mix, Fang Zheng felt as though he was going to sprout leaves eating this stuff!

Not to mention the infamous fish & chips... No, no, he couldn’t stand it anymore. Fang Zheng had already decided to slip Walter a note and head to Chinatown in London for some authentic Kung Pao chicken.

As long as they didn’t serve him General Tso’s Chicken, he would be thankful.

Right, objective set, time to get out of bed... Hm?

Just as Fang Zheng was about to get up, he suddenly felt something pressing against him. Extending his hand, he lifted the blanket and then... Fang Zheng froze.

According to the unwritten rules of GALGAME, when you lift your blankets and find a beautiful girl with snow-white hair and delicate skin lying beside you, holding you tightly as she sleeps soundly, what should you, as the protagonist, do?

A: Maybe I’ve played too many games and started having hallucinations? Close my eyes again and lie down, waiting to return to reality.

B: Hahaha, I’ve finally entered the two-dimensional world, this woman must be my RBQ! Then tackle her right away.

C: Who are you and why are you in my bed?! Shout as you kick the girl off the bed.

D: None of the above are normal options.

Okay, let’s put an end to avoiding reality.

Who is this girl?

Looking at the girl before him, Fang Zheng had a dumbfounded expression. Strictly speaking, she wasn’t ”nude,” for though indeed she wore no clothes, she was donned in black over-the-knee socks... nude with over-the-knee socks... Hmm, this had its own market appeal!

But the question was, who was she?

Fang Zheng first ruled out that she could be a maid, as there were no maids in this setting, and he had never seen this girl before. If she wasn’t a maid, then who was she? To say she was a sister or something of that woman named Intagura, well, they didn’t look anything alike at all.

As for someone Fang Zheng had brought back himself... that was even more impossible!

Does he look like the kind of beast who would undress an unknown girl and bring her to bed?

Of course not!

”Mmm...”

At this moment, the girl seemed to notice Fang Zheng’s movement. She lifted her head, rubbed her eyes, and looked at Fang Zheng.

”Good morning, Master.”

”... Who are you?”

Hearing the girl’s salutation, Fang Zheng paused for a moment before asking. The silver-haired girl gave an emotionless response, quickly answering him.

”Ester.”

”... Ester?”

Fang Zheng was certain that he had never heard this name before. But the way she spoke, could she be his Soulstone? However, when Fang Zheng accessed his system, it was still in an offline sealed state, showing no reaction at all.

”Is that your name?”

”Yes, human vocal organs cannot pronounce the official name, so ’Ester’ will suffice.”

”Alright, Ester, then why are you on my bed?”

”Because I belong to you, Master.”

”..........”

Fang Zheng stretched out his hand to his forehead, pondered for a moment, and tried to organize a train of thought from the girl’s words.

”So, you are my...”

”Pact Spirit, Master.”

As she spoke, Ester looked towards the blue crest on Fang Zheng’s left hand. Noticing Ester’s gaze, Fang Zheng also froze for a second before he quickly caught on.

”So you are that sword... the one meant for slaying the Demon King?”

”Yes.”

Ester nodded.

”I am the ’Demon-Slaying Holy Sword’, Sword Sprite Ester, and I am also your Pact Spirit, Master.”

So that’s how it was.

Having heard this, Fang Zheng finally understood the true identity of this girl. He remembered forging two swords with the Fire Keeper at the Ritual Site in the Anan World, and during that time, a Soulstone, which he had drawn while summoning the Star Forging Dragon King, had leaped out on its own. It then attached itself to his Sky-Cleaving Sword and the Vampire, and now it seemed that this girl was one of the two, the black or white. freewēbnoveℓ.com

But if this girl was the spirit residing within the Sky-Cleaving Sword, then the other one, the Vampire...

At this thought, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but look at the purple crest on the back of his right hand, and seeing his actions, Ester slightly tilted her head.

”If you are looking for the other Pact Spirit, Master, she cannot manifest yet.”

”Is that so?”

”Yes, Master. Your current power is insufficient to support her manifested state, so if you wish to see her, I’m afraid it will take some more time.”

”Is that so...”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng nodded, but then he looked again at Ester in front of him, carefully examining the girl from head to toe. Faced with Fang Zheng’s gaze, Ester remained unmoved, allowing her naked body to be exposed to Fang Zheng’s eyes as if she had no care in the world.

However...

”Why wear over-the-knee socks?”

This was something Fang Zheng couldn’t understand at all. Indeed, some people with special fetishes liked this kind of thing, but Fang Zheng wasn’t one of them, nor was he a fanatic. Why the girl in front of him chose to dress this way was indeed strange to Fang Zheng.

”Huh?”

At Fang Zheng’s question, Ester suddenly paused. Then her previously expressionless face suddenly turned a shade of embarrassed red.

”Master, do you actually want to see my bare feet? That’s so lewd! I will not agree to it!”

”..........”

You’re already like this; I’ve seen everything there is and isn’t to see, how does looking at your feet become lewd?

Faced with Ester’s protest, Fang Zheng rolled his eyes helplessly. After all, he was used to such situations by now, since he had similar beings under his command. For instance, the little Vampire girl who flitted around in front of him in her black stockings, but became prickly as a hedgehog at the mention of an engine check. Fang Zheng had long realized that the girls under his command each had their own secrets and eccentricities.

But the issue now was...

How to explain this to Walter and Intagura, no, before that, the most important thing was...

Looking at the naked girl in front of him, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly.

He needed to find her some clothes to wear first.
