System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

”My choices are limited to my personal thoughts, not personal emotions, nor anger and temper.” Lu Cheng still chose to be a candid villain.

A genuine villain is better than a hypocrite.

The people who dare to openly admit their mistakes are usually close ones.

I just feel that your actions are slow, but I didn’t say what you’re doing is wrong. I’m just trying other circles.

”Now that you’ve said this, I’m relieved. But Liver Preservation Surgery is different from Spleen Preservation Surgery; this topic is too advanced for me to handle, so I might have my boss talk to you personally.” Chen Song said.

”Director Xiang? Does he have time for this?” Lu Cheng furrowed his brows slightly.

Chen Song immediately said, ”Not Director Xiang, it’s my teacher. Due to physical and mental reasons, he’s currently off the clinical front line.”

”But it’s just right, being off the clinical, he has more time and energy to continue delving into research.”

Lu Cheng’s voice immediately turned strange: ”Teacher Chen, are you joking with me?”

Lu Cheng didn’t find it incomprehensible, just unbelievable.

Someone like Chen Song surely did not emerge from nowhere; he definitely has his teacher.

And Professor Chen Song’s teacher could be Director Xiang Dongshan, or an older professor than Director Xiang Dongshan.

But they have all retired, left the clinical frontline, and now are engaged in research?

When Lu Cheng participated in the advanced training class at Union Hospital, such respected figures had emerged, and one person suppressed an entire department of Zhongnan Hospital.

Such people found a suitable reason to flaunt their seniority, and no one can stop them.

That time, the old professor indeed found a suitable reason because Zhongnan Hospital was exploiting his student, who was deceased.

Chen Song said, ”The lifeline of research is very long, far longer than clinical practice.”

”My teacher is only sixty-eight, still at an age where he needs to strive.” Chen Song chuckled.

Lu Cheng said, ”Teacher Chen, such jokes are not funny.”

Chen Song replied, ”But this is the truth, Xiao Lu. As long as there are clinical doctors with a bit of dreaming left, it’s perfectly normal to engage in research work in your sixties!”

”My teacher’s teacher is still participating in research and clinical work at ninety-something.”

Lu Cheng’s gaze tightened: ”Teacher Chen, may I ask who your teacher’s teacher is?”

Chen Song’s expression turned bashful: ”My teacher’s teacher is Elder Wu, though when I entered the door, Elder Wu was already quite old, and I’ve only met him once.”

”Of course, I’m rather an unworthy disciple of a generation, not having learned even a fraction of Elder Wu’s skills. I wouldn’t dare to casually use my teacher’s senior name to muddle through life.”

Lu Cheng: ”...”

Chen Song’s teacher was Elder Wu’s student? Is Chen Song’s background really that solid?

Alright, maybe the real professional circle is actually a giant ’sect,’ because if you have the ability and talent, there’s a high chance you’ll be noticed by the big shots or their students.

If Professor Chen Song isn’t Elder Wu’s disciples’ disciple, he might be under other academicians’ lineage of disciples.

”Teacher Chen, don’t put so much pressure on me, I’m scared!” Lu Cheng started rubbing his forehead.

This is ridiculous, Chen Song is throwing a torpedo at him.

Chen Song doesn’t have the time or energy to constantly monitor Lu Cheng, nor does Director Xiang in the emergency department. So he brought out his teacher, who retired, so doesn’t have mundane entanglements, right?

”It’s alright, my teacher is very amiable, and he has spent his lifetime researching the liver, so he can have more discussions and exchanges with you.”

”Moreover, if you say in the future that you interacted with my teacher, many current directors or professors might show you some courtesy.”

”After all, if you go back decades, around ten years ago, my teacher was quite influential nationwide.” Chen Song said.

Lu Cheng couldn’t continue chatting with Chen Song because he indeed couldn’t find a good reason to refuse Chen Song.

The topics of Spleen Preservation Surgery and Hand Surgery Suturing Techniques were just waiting for the processes to be completed, and Lu Cheng couldn’t possibly, during the wait, only think about how to accelerate the processes through means without considering self-improvement.

Therefore, Liver Suturing Technique and Liver Preservation Surgery naturally emerged.

The Liver Preservation Surgery on the panel isn’t the original one, but rather, based on the most cutting-edge, most outstanding Liver Preservation Surgery, it has evolved into the unnamed Liver Protection Skill.

After seeing off Chen Song, Lu Cheng returned to the doctor’s office, reviewed the relevant medical records again, and then carefully observed his own panel.
