Surviving The Fourth Calamity

If it were a pure mage, they probably wouldn’t notice anything strange about this world, after all, it’s not like there haven’t been any Creation Goddesses... Some of the smarter mages might speculate that the goddess has met with misfortune.

But to someone like Hill, who has a more orthodox divine system heritage, it seems quite abnormal.

At first, he wasn’t sure because the sun and moon are also entities that can be created later... As long as they aren’t made with the Eternal Flame directly like on Toril, it wouldn’t suddenly create a Sun God.

That’s a miracle only possible with absolutely powerful natural energy.

In ordinary worlds, to create a god, you have to follow the process like Felunryel did before: make humans, then use their beliefs to ignite certain divine substances to create a puppet deity.

However, if something an Ancient Red Dragon can do, Asmodeus would have no problem, so Hill was always a bit uncertain.

Until he arrived at Sia Tower.

If Glaysia wanted to harness the Power of the Silvermoon, she naturally had to channel the power to Sia Tower.

The Moonlight Rose was generated from a bit of energy spilled from the Power of the Silvermoon.

Only a real moon could let its radiance affect the creatures of the mortal realm.

As for the sun... Hill was still a bit unsure.

But after careful observation, when the Silvermoon and Sun occasionally reflected each other, there was no sense of one being weaker or stronger.

So, for such a well-preserved, naturally occurring sun and moon, how is it possible that no deities have appeared?

Therefore, the one who has been talked about, the original Creation Goddess... Is it truly a Creation Goddess, or a certain unfortunate Moon Goddess?

As for the Sun God, aside from Amant Tower, who appeared when the Eternal Flame ignited a special celestial body, rarely do they show a feminine appearance.

They have no interest in pursuing the path of omniscience through yin-yang unity.

Of course, Amant Tower’s uniqueness may also be related to having to call Celene ’mother’: Though the Eternal Flame ignited that celestial body, the divine power surrounding the Eternal Flame originally belonged to Celene’s Power of the Silvermoon.

If at the moment of ignition, that trace of yin energy didn’t completely dissipate, it indeed could make the Sun God a peculiar presence—cold within, hot without.

Normally emerging Sun Gods would generally be more sunny and masculine... Otherwise, why would various divine systems secretly analyze how Amant Tower was constructed?

Just like the Elf Deity System, including even Rose who had fallen into the Abyss, wouldn’t be so cautious of Celene turning into Suren back then.

Look at Lansendel, then look at Amant Tower; these two deities emerged entirely because of Celene herself... Other deities, including those born from the aftermath waves of her and her sister’s conflicts, somewhat contained traits of Shaer, though many had issues, at least they were understandable.

This is also why Hill suspected that the so-called Creator God is actually the Moon Goddess.

But, that doesn’t mean this world doesn’t have a so-called Creator God.

There’s a clear disconnect between Glaysia’s quest for the Power of the Silvermoon and their main goal: resurrecting Bisozeya.

It’s very likely that the world’s original deities weren’t only one.

If that’s the case, Hill couldn’t help but turn his gaze beyond the tall White Tower to an even further place: the legendary Bisozeya Temple at the peak of the world.

Even though his time in this world wasn’t long, Hill had heard that the temple was the one place that could directly connect to the Goddess Bisozeya.

Or rather, that place was the entrance to the half-ruined Divine Kingdom of the Creation Goddess.

Hill didn’t need to explore the secrets of that temple to determine that the place must have remnants of a certain Creation Goddess’s divinity.

Even if Bisozeya could reclaim her soul due to the Life Rosy Stone from Heavenly Mountain that can restore the integrity of her soul, for her statue to ignite the Divine Fire, she’d need sufficient divinity.

The Divine Fire can originate from belief power of this world, or possibly other worlds.

But divinity and divine power take a long time to slowly accumulate.

After all, she is a Great Devil and unlike Asmodeus, who was originally an angel’s body and a divine being... Without sufficient divine source, even if she is resurrected, she would at most possess a Lower Rank Divine Power.

Possibly even a Faint Divine Power.

In such a state, even with Asmodeus’s help, she wouldn’t have the ability to devour the nearby half-ruined Teraxil... not to mention Teraxil might succeed in self-rescue!

Although the Lord of Hell has likely made significant preparations around Teraxil... mages who go without looking back naturally don’t care, but if anyone happens to have a conscience, it would be another kind of no-return.

It was after discovering this that Hill made peace in his heart with the mages from Teraxil.

At least they hadn’t completely given up on their world.

As for why he thought this way... Even someone like Draculus almost overturned, so one can only imagine how closely guarded the worlds around Teraxil connected to Devils are.

If those mages were the kind who didn’t want to return, the Devils wouldn’t have done such a perfect job.

Hill certainly didn’t trust Draculus’s character, but he thoroughly trusted the old man’s cunning plans.

He was quite grateful that when Fran discovered something was wrong with those worlds, his first reaction was to steer clear of them.

Plus, he’s skilled at concealing his presence.

As for Draculus, as long as he doesn’t cover his face, he’s bound to be discovered... After all, just consider how many of his students set out on that path.

After all, an entity like Asmodeus is never complacent; he would surely want Bisozeya to be as powerful as possible upon resurrection.

This cannot rely on the belief of this world, nor on his obviously ill-intentioned daughter Glaysia.

Just as Hill always suspected, Asmodeus couldn’t be unaware of his daughter’s nature, especially knowing he might have second or third sibling brothers.

If Glaysia didn’t meddle, that would be abnormal.

It’s clear that instead of constantly monitoring his daughter trying to poison her mother or pushing during pregnancy, Asmodeus chose to set up another target for Glaysia.

The divine entity within the Bisozeya Temple is likely the remnants of the Silvermoon Goddess.

And truly, that World Master, the so-called Creator God’s divine substance, should be hidden elsewhere.

Somewhere even Glaysia and Fengo don’t know of.

Hill silently turned to glance at Ruth’s Main Tower... The archmages of this world can’t be completely unaware of some affairs in the Bisozeya Temple.

Then their continued push and pull relationship with Sia Tower must also be an attempt to awaken the slumbering Creator God through those divine beings?

Like Hill, just encountering the rose nurtured by moonlight, could analyze that the real force being utilized by Sia Tower is the Power of the Silvermoon, is rare.

They can only feel that there is divine power present in Sia Tower.

But if they truly call for the Power of Creation through the Power of the Moon, then... how is that different from calling AO in front of Celene?

Who would respond to them?

Calling Shaer would be better; at least it might provoke the Power of the Silvermoon.

It truly is... indeed worthy of Lord of Hell’s kind of maneuver.

After all, playing with his daughter while having his subordinates monitor unnecessary rebels, it’s not the first time he’s done this.

Hill quietly frowned, unsure if he should remind Ruth once again.
