Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1581: Chapter 799: Capturing the Moment_3

”Finished.” Song Chi walked in, ”Have you finished reading the script?”

”Finished. I’ve arranged to meet the day after tomorrow night,” Zhou Yun said, ”I really like this story, the pacing is great, it keeps you hooked, and the ending moved me quite a bit.”

Song Chi nodded.

”The script’s structure is very complete.”

”They’re all suspense genre films, which one do you think is better?” Zhou Yun asked.

”Personally, I prefer the New Shield one,” Song Chi said. ”The ’Child of Prophecy’ is a bit lengthy overall, the main plot isn’t very clear, or rather, its main line progresses through the mindset of the male lead about the foreknowledge ability, involving several different side stories. I still prefer scripts that focus on one area the whole way through.”

Zhou Yun understood what Song Chi meant.

”Indeed, the framework of ’Child of Prophecy’ is more suitable to be developed into a series,” she said.

Song Chi nodded, ”That’s right.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Are you interested in distributing this film? I mean, if I can finalize it with Brother Lew’s friend.”

Song Chi: ”Of course, I’d love to. This film’s theme, the box office definitely won’t be low. Are you planning to handle it yourself?”

”From what Brother Lew mentioned, his friend is a newbie, probably doesn’t have a collaborator production company, otherwise wouldn’t have come to me,” Zhou Yun said. ”Since I’ll be investing, I might as well take on more. If he wants to direct, I’ll help him with the logistics. If he doesn’t want to direct, I’ll find a director for him.”

Song Chi: ”That’s best. A newbie may have difficulties, but you don’t have time to manage every detail. If you plan to produce it yourself, you’ll need to hire a manager.”

Zhou Yun nodded.

”I plan to ask Xu Jinbo,” Zhou Yun said, ”I’ve worked with him on ’Deep Sea’, he has extensive production experience and is very capable. It’s just a matter of whether he has time because Yuehai is keen to push for the shooting of the second season of ’Deep Sea’.”

”Whenever Yuehai makes money from a show, if the second season seems promising, they always want to start it. It’s their usual habit.”

”Yes.” Zhou Yun nodded.

The next morning, the show starts recording.

The show’s director had already informed them that the photographers and their following director would knock on doors early the next morning, filming from when they wake up.

This was nothing new for both Zhou Yun and Song Chi.

However, they rarely recorded a program together, the last time probably on a dating show.

The team thought knocking on their door at eight in the morning would find them still asleep, but they found out they were out for a morning run.

The show director was a bit shocked, finding it unbelievable.

The director complained to Lew Yuan: ”Why are they so enthusiastic? Recording a show and they still go for a run early in the morning?”

Lew Yuan laughed and said, ”I guess I forgot to tell you, they both have a long-standing habit of morning runs.”

”So what now?” The director asked with a worried face.

They couldn’t capture the raw, no-makeup look of the two celebrities, losing a planned promo point.

Lew Yuan: ”No problem, just wait for them to come back.”

The director sighed.

Lew Yuan said, ”No worries, we don’t always have to follow our prepared script.”

”What should we do?” the director said, ”This episode was supposed to feature how handsome and beautiful they are without makeup, now it’s gone.”

Lew Yuan: ”Why gone? They’ll be coming back from running, surely without makeup, and this real, post-exercise no-makeup look will be much more attractive than waking up look, right?”

The director glanced sideways at Lew Yuan: ”Are you serious? Who doesn’t look flushed after exercising? How is that better? People’s skin is at its best when they first wake up!”

Lew Yuan: ”Oh, director, no worries, their faces look good at any time.”

At this point, the camera operator who had been filming them laughed: ”We could edit your conversation into the episode, followed by their return from exercise, and there’s our topic!”

”...” Lew Yuan and the director simultaneously glared at the camera operator and said, ”Don’t you dare!”

”It’s not about me daring, it depends on the editors,” the camera operator said. ”But I think, really, editing it this way would definitely work!”

Just then, someone said, ”Song Chi and Zhou Yun are back!”

Their camera operators quickly rushed to the elevator entrance, ready to capture the moment they appeared.
