Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1574: Chapter 798: Together in the Frame

After the interview, Zhou Yun patted Lu Ming’s shoulder and said, ”See, when you let go of the outline earlier, we had a great conversation.”

Lu Ming was astonished and asked, ”Really?”

He still couldn’t quite believe it.

Zhou Yun nodded, ”Of course it’s true, Lu Ming, you have a talent for interviews. Try to do less paparazzi work in the future. Take the time to learn seriously. You’re still young, so find a career path with greater development opportunities.”

Lu Ming smiled shyly.

He scratched his head and said, ”I don’t know anything. My language grades aren’t good either. I feel like I could never write articles like theirs.”

Zhou Yun: ”There’s not just one kind of article style in the world. Their articles are well-written, but it doesn’t mean you have to write like them. If you’re just like them, then there’s no difference, right?”

Lu Ming said, ”But I don’t know what I should do. After I finish writing this piece, I can only go back to working as a paparazzo. No place will let me be a journalist.”

Zhou Yun: ”Maybe things will change after your article about our interview comes out. Let’s wait and see.”

Unice said, ”Miss Zhou, can we take a photo together?”

Zhou Yun nodded.

So, Liu Yun helped the three of them take a picture.

”Thank you.”

After taking the photo, Unice thanked Zhou Yun.

Liu Yun saw them off.

Then, they were about to head to the train station.

Zhou Lan took her to the parking lot downstairs the office building.

”After filming, are you going directly to Song Chi’s place?”

”Mm.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”We’ll meet directly at the train station on the 10th.”

”Alright.” Zhou Lan nodded.

Zhou Yun met Song Chi at the train station.

He was waiting in the lounge, reading some material.

”What are you looking at?” Zhou Yun went over, sat down, and asked.

Song Chi looked up at her, smiled, and said, ”A script outline. Yao Yuanfeng sent it to me, saying he wanted me to act.”

Zhou Yun exclaimed, ”What kind of script did he send you? Why didn’t he send you the complete script?”

Song Chi: ”It’s not fully revised yet.”

”What’s the story?”

”It’s about a man who suddenly gains foreknowledge after a car accident, predicting that he’ll be murdered a week later and must find out who intends to kill him within that week.” Song Chi said, ”It’s quite an interesting concept.”

”Mm.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”Sounds intriguing.”

Song Chi: ”I think the script is pretty good. I’m thinking of having Yu Zhiyang play a role.”

”Yu Zhiyang?” Zhou Yun was surprised.

”The main antagonist is my student. I play a university professor, and the one who wants to kill me is one of my graduate students.”

Zhou Yun exclaimed, ”If you think it’s suitable, go ahead and have him act.”

”Mm.” Song Chi nodded.

”But do you have availability?” Zhou Yun said, ”I heard somewhere that your schedule is almost fully booked for next year.”

Song Chi said, ”I can squeeze out some time by coordinating the schedule. I’ll also co-produce and invest in this movie.”

Zhou Yun nodded, ”That’s doable.”

”Earlier, Yao Yuanfeng mentioned that ’Female Assassin’ is planned to be released during the summer break and he aims for a global simultaneous release.” Song Chi said.

Zhou Yun said, ”It’s probably because the overseas box office for ’Two Tigers’ gave him that confidence.”

Song Chi: ”Seems like he’s thinking about global releases for every movie now.”

”Mm.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”He’s always wanted to take the international route. He’s already at the top in the domestic market, so to further improve, he has to focus on the overseas market.”

”Yes.” Song Chi nodded while smiling, ”That’s also a good thing. I hope other film companies have the same ambition as him.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”What about you?”

”Mm?”

”Aren’t you also making movies?”

Song Chi: ”As for me, I haven’t firmly established my path domestically yet. But if there are opportunities and channels, I definitely want to push my films abroad too.”

”How did ’Mother’ sell in the international market previously?” Zhou Yun asked.

Song Chi said, ”It was alright. Although the selling price wasn’t high, it sold a bit in various countries and regions, adding up to a substantial income.”
