Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 726: Chapter 501: Sudden Interruption 3

”She didn’t expect that even Gu Huaichun would be alarmed by this matter and called her, saying, ’You’re really bold, you just said you’d come back and you did.’”

Zhou Yun sighed, ”I was filming, what could I do? I also wanted to stay in Cannes a bit longer, to watch movies and stroll around the city, but if I didn’t come back to film, the crew would have had to shoot for several more days waiting for just me, I would feel uneasy.”

Gu Huaichun: ”You went to Cannes and still feel uneasy with such a legitimate reason. Look at me. I’m currently filming this drama, damn, one actress went to record a show and left just like that, it’s been a week now and she still hasn’t come back, the producer and director are going crazy.”

”Ah?” Zhou Yun asked in surprise, ”What’s the situation?”

”A very common situation, but your crew probably hasn’t encountered it, right?” Gu Huaichun said, ”The drama you’re working on shouldn’t have such issues.”

”No, in ’Falling Leaves’, a male actor also did the same thing, just ditched us,” said Zhou Yun.

Gu Huaichun: ”It’s giving me a headache now, the director is even preparing to ask the screenwriter to modify the script, shifting all that person’s scenes to another actor.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun frowned.

Changing the script like this, wouldn’t it completely alter its original essence?

”I don’t even want to criticize anymore, just hoping that this drama, no matter what, can be completed,” Gu Huaichun said, ”Compared to this person, the bad acting of Meng Ran doesn’t even matter anymore.”

”...” Zhou Yun thought to herself, this really isn’t something praiseworthy.

She just discussed this matter with Gu Huaichun over the phone in the afternoon, and in the evening, Zhou Yun saw a strange exposure online.

The drama Gu Huaichun and Meng Ran were acting in, the second female lead Tan Yingjie was photographed on set.

She complained about her not returning to filming during the day, and in the evening, it was revealed she came back to the set to film?

Zhou Yun scrutinized the leaked photos.

Wait, isn’t the drama Gu Huaichun is working on a historical piece? Why is Tan Yingjie in a modern outfit?

Zhou Yun sent the screenshot to Gu Huaichun to find out what was going on.

Gu Huaichun sent a voice message: ”This lady secretly took a lead role in another drama without telling us, causing a schedule clash. I wondered why it took her so long to record a show, huh, really have to thank the person who leaked this, or else we’d still be kept in the dark.”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

A schedule clash?

Filming this current drama and took on another lead role?

Zhou Yun was filled with mixed emotions. This actress Tan Yingjie is really bold.

Not sure how Gu Huaichun’s crew communicated with Tan Yingjie’s side, probably not smoothly, the next morning, the crew’s official Weibo directly released a statement, condemning Tan Yingjie for filming this drama while secretly taking another project under the guise of going out to record a show, and has since not returned to the crew, mismanaging the filming schedule, strongly criticizing this behavior, and will pursue legal actions against Tan Yingjie for responsibility.

This statement immediately overshadowed other news in the entertainment circle.

About celebrities, what often sparks public discussion are either romance or scandals.

Actress Tan Yingjie isn’t very famous, having recently debuted, but this type of incident does not go unnoticed due to the actor being unknown.

People don’t know her, but that doesn’t stop them from joining in to criticize her over this incident.

Tan Yingjie probably didn’t expect the crew to so openly tear off the pretense.

That afternoon, Gu Huaichun reported the latest progress to Zhou Yun: ”Tan Yingjie has come to mend things with the crew, willing to return all her salary. Joke, she caused so much trouble for the crew, and she thinks returning the salary would suffice? The screenwriter has already written her character off directly.”

Zhou Yun: ”That quickly?”

Gu Huaichun said: ”Last night, the producer already called her and her agent, if she came back immediately to film, all would be forgiven, but they refused to agree, what else could we do then but sue?”

”This lady is bold enough, daring to openly schedule clash.”

”Schedule clash is one thing, she indeed clashed, but couldn’t she spare a few days in a week to come here to film? She just completely took off, what kind of behavior is that,” Gu Huaichun said, ”Just wait, with such an incident, let’s see how she continues in the entertainment industry.”
