Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 715: Chapter 498: The Luncheon Outing

The main task in the morning was filming and interviewing.

Near noon, Zhou Yun had to attend a luncheon hosted by Blink.

This was an official event organized by Blink at Cannes.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi were both spokespersons for Blink in the Asian Region, invited to this luncheon to dine with the current helmsman of Blink.

Of course, it wasn’t just the two of them; other national and regional spokespersons were also present.

Zhou Yun didn’t expect to meet Cristina again at this luncheon.

It turned out she was the spokesperson for the Blink brand in Spain.

”Meeting again!” Cristina warmly opened her arms and hugged Zhou Yun, then complained after the hug, ”Really, everyone is preparing for the red carpet tonight, and they schedule a luncheon at this time, everything is so rushed.”

Zhou Yun showed a helpless smile.

Because Song Chi was in a wheelchair, everyone was surprised to see him, and their first question was always to ask what had happened to him.

Even the helmsman of Blink did the same.

The current helmsman of Blink, Mr. Brissaki, was said to be about sixty years old and had been leading Blink for nearly twenty years.

This was the first time Zhou Yun had seen Mr. Brissaki in person; before, she had only greeted him during video conferences.

Brissaki seemed quite familiar with Song Chi, seeing him, he immediately patted the uninjured shoulder and said, ”I heard you were in a car accident recently.”

Brissaki’s English accent was a bit strange.

Song Chi understood immediately, smiled, and said, ”Bad luck.”

Brissaki: ”I’m glad you could make it; we should find a chance to have a meal together, just the two of us.”

Song Chi said, ”I’ll be in Cannes for a few days.”

Brissaki smiled and nodded, ”I’ll have my secretary schedule a time with your side later.”

After these words, Brissaki finally looked up at Zhou Yun and said, ”Miss Zhou, we finally meet.”

Zhou Yun smiled faintly, ”Hello, Mr. Brissaki.”

”I watched a movie you starred in ’Life’ recently, and it indeed is a very touching film, you were also very beautiful in it,” said Brissaki, ”I met Shi Luoqi the day before yesterday, and she told me you are a very talented actress. I’ve known her for many years, and it’s been a long time since I’ve heard her praise a newcomer like this. Zuo Zhi has good taste, helping us Blink sign you as our spokesperson.”

Zuo Zhi is the head of Blink in the Asian Region.

Initially, Zhou Lan helped Zhou Yun secure the position of a Blink spokesperson, thanks to Zuo Zhi greatly recommending her to headquarters, claiming Zhou Yun had great potential, thus signing her earlier.

Zhou Yun nodded in surprise, saying, ”Thank you.”

She didn’t expect Shi Luoqi to know Brissaki, and from his words, the two seemed to be old acquaintances who had known each other for a long time.

At this moment, another woman came over. Her hair was done up in a bun, wearing a dark golden long dress, very thin, even so thin that her cheekbones were very prominent, giving her face a somewhat harsh expression.

”Brissaki, why not introduce me?” the woman came over and smiled pleasantly, lifting her hand and gently resting it on Brissaki’s shoulder.

Zhou Yun noticed Brissaki looked somewhat displeased.

There was some disharmony between Brissaki and this woman.

But Brissaki still introduced the woman to Song Chi and Zhou Yun, ”Lucia, head of JL.”

Head of JL?

No wonder Zhou Yun and Song Chi had not seen her before.

JL and Blink both belonged to the Luyun Group, being two luxury brands under the same group and competing fiercely due to following the same path.

Zhou Yun was very surprised, not knowing why the head of JL, Lucia, would appear at Blink’s luncheon.

Lucia reached out proactively and said, ”Zhou Yun, hello, I’ve heard of you before, you are very beautiful meeting you for the first time.”

Zhou Yun simply said thank you.

Lucia said, ”It’s a pity, we at JL wanted to ask you to be our spokesperson as well, but Blink got there first.”

Before Zhou Yun could respond, Brissaki said, ”That shows you were too slow.”

Lucia laughed, ”Brissaki, don’t be so aggressive, I just wanted to express my appreciation for this beautiful girl.”

”Maybe you can find a girl who has nothing to do with Blink to express your appreciation,” Brissaki said bluntly, ”Don’t appreciate every spokesperson that Blink has set eyes on, it only makes people think you don’t have your own unique vision and aesthetics.”
