Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 705: Chapter 494: Out of Their Minds (6)

He Xuran was certainly not reconciled, burning with rage.

”You’re really going to do this, huh? Fine, nobody’s having a good day today!” He Xuran angrily rebuked.

They argued to this extent, yet Hou Mengjie still hadn’t come over, not even anyone intervened.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help feeling dissatisfied with him.

Regardless, he is the director, and he should show up when there is a conflict between actors on set.

Zhou Yun thought that the filming progress for the movie might be delayed.

But even when the two were causing such a scene, Hou Mengjie didn’t pause the filming. Not successful? Fine, let’s do it again, and again if necessary.

Zhou Yun was speechless, having filmed over and over for so long without being able to shoot her scene.

Finally, Zhou Yun couldn’t stand it anymore.

When Liu Zhikun and He Xuran caused another NG due to their grudge, Zhou Yun directly charged up.

”Have you two had enough yet?” Zhou Yun coldly looked at them, ”Is it fun to make such a fuss? Playing house, are you? Want to play house, go home and play, why involve so many people with your games? You two think you’re so important that everyone should revolve around you? If you have a temper, either fight it out or keep it to yourself! Can you be professional? Are you not professional actors? I don’t care what conflict you have between each other, this is a film set!”

Zhou Yun raised her finger, violently pointing towards the ground.

He Xuran and Liu Zhikun turned their heads away, neither of them spoke.

”Come on, get ready, can we still shoot today? If not, just forget it, don’t waste our time here.”

If glares could materialize, Zhou Yun’s would turn into the shape of knives.

He Xuran crossed his arms and said, ”I can shoot.”

Liu Zhikun scoffed, ”As if anyone couldn’t.”

Zhou Yun nodded, stating, ”Good, you both said you can shoot, but if I see you purposely mess up like before, I won’t do anything else, I’ll just livestream you two, letting all your fans see what kind of characters you really are!”

She dropped the words and turned to leave.

He Xuran’s expression changed, he hadn’t expected Zhou Yun to utter such harsh words.

”You—”

”I mean what I say.” Zhou Yun walked away from them back to her position, ”It’s not like I haven’t done this before!”

The whole scene fell silent, utterly speechless.

Although Zhou Yun since joining the team wasn’t very congenial nor did she mix well with many, she never was a temperamental actress that caused headaches. Specifically, she had never publicly lost her temper like today, and once she did, everyone was shocked, mildly unsure how to react.

Hou Mengjie sat behind the monitors, wearing headphones, holding a walkie-talkie: ”Departments, get ready, let’s take another shot.”

...

After that outburst from Zhou Yun, He Xuran and Liu Zhikun finally curbed their tempers and began shooting seriously.

They barely managed to complete one-third of a fight scene that needed to be done, leaving the remaining two-thirds to be completed over the next two days.

A large multi-person fight scene usually takes several days to film.

Zhou Yun wrapped up and prepared to return to the hotel.

It was already evening, and the sunset was more splendid than usual, an orange-red twilight covered the entire sky.

Zheng Xiaojue whispered to Zhou Yun, ”Sister Xiao Yun, your outburst today really shocked everyone, many people said they didn’t expect you to be so frightening when angered, and some even quietly asked me if you are always this fierce.”

Zhou Yun smiled, asking, ”And what did you tell them?”

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”I told them that Sister Xiao Yun never gets angry unless she meets people who need to be set straight. How severe the scolding gets depends on how annoying the person is.”

Zhou Yun’s smile grew brighter.

”Smart.”

Zheng Xiaojue continued, ”Liu Zhikun and He Xuran are just too selfish, wasting time is one thing, but to make so many martial masters and extras endure their temper tantrums is another. Everyone is genuinely fighting in those scenes, and doing it over and over must hurt.”

”Exactly, but they can’t think of that because they don’t feel the pain themselves,” Zhou Yun said. ”Xiaoju, no matter how famous I get, or how much respect we receive from others, we must always stick to our own principles, not to cause trouble for others, nor look down on anyone.”

”I know, Sister Xiao Yun.”

”And Xiaoyun, you too, alright?” Zhou Yun said.

Liu Yun nodded.

She was a woman of few words, usually following behind Zhou Yun, not speaking much, absent the liveliness of Zheng Xiaojue.

But Zhou Yun thought her character was also good, having one talkative like Zheng Xiaojue was enough; if there was another, she would never have peace.

”Let’s go for a massage tonight.” Zhou Yun suggested, ”It’s been a while.”

”Yes, yes!” Zheng Xiaojue immediately responded excitedly.

Because every time they went for a massage, Zhou Yun would pay, and she and Liu Yun would freeload.

Zhou Yun smiled and gently patted Zheng Xiaojue’s head.
