Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 711: Chapter 496: Arrival in Cannes (Part 3)

They chatted for a while until it was time to board.

The long flight journey began.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi treated this flight completely like a secret meeting trip.

They cuddled together, watched dramas, whispered, and behaved affectionately.

After all, no one around could see them.

When they arrived in Cannes, it was in the afternoon.

Media from all around the world gathered at the airport, waiting to capture celebrities from everywhere.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi are representatives of Chinese-language films in the global film scene in recent years, but they are still unfamiliar to most foreign media.

Song Chi was officially invited by Cannes and had staff to receive him, Zhou Yun and the group hitched a convenience.

Song Chi sat in a wheelchair, and left the airport with Zhou Yun.

To Zhou Yun’s surprise, there were a few foreigners holding the poster of her film ”Life” and speaking to her in English saying Welcome, asking for her autograph, seeming like her fans.

They said they really liked the movie ”Life” and liked her a lot.

For a moment, Zhou Yun was a bit surprised and incredulous.

They actually came specially to meet her.

Song Chi also had fans come, but most of them were Asians, as he is quite well-known in various Asian countries.

After greeting those fans who came for them, they got into the car and headed to the hotel.

The sunshine was so abundant.

Zhou Yun felt refreshed and said to Song Chi, ”I really wish to wander around here with you.”

Song Chi said, ”This time I can’t accompany you for a stroll, but we will come more often when we have a chance.”

”Mm,” Zhou Yun nodded.

Song Chi asked, ”Do you have an interview as soon as you arrive at the hotel?”

”Yes,” Zhou Yun nodded.

Zhou Lan suddenly said, ”Brother Chi, you have some too, right? When I was scheduling work, I also communicated with your side. Except for individual schedules, your and Xiao Yun’s schedules are pretty much the same, basically at the same place.”

This was the first time Zhou Yun heard Zhou Lan say this.

She looked at Zhou Lan with some surprise, ”Sister Lan, did you arrange this specially?”

”Of course, you two finally can stay together, I tried to arrange your work schedules to be similar so that you won’t be running off separately.”

Zhou Yun exclaimed with joy, saying, ”Sister Lan, you are really the best!”

Zhou Lan smiled and said, ”Glad you know.”

Song Chi said, ”I don’t have that many interviews, just accepted four. With my condition, I can’t work for long periods.”

He gave a bitter smile.

Zhou Yun said, ”No worries, I’m here. We won’t let our domestic media friends come for nothing.”

Her mood improved a lot.

The sunlight streamed through the car window, shining on her.

”When can you remove this cast?” Zhou Yun asked.

”Another two months,” Song Chi said. ”I need to check the recovery situation before knowing for sure.”

”Sigh.”

”What’s the sigh for? I’ve rested a lot during this period due to the injury,” Song Chi said. ”It’s a blessing in disguise.”

”I’d rather be healthy and take a holiday,” Zhou Yun said. ”Still a blessing in disguise.”

Song Chi laughed.

When they arrived at the hotel, they settled their luggage, and after some grooming, the makeup artist arrived at the hotel as scheduled to style and do makeup for Zhou Yun.

Later, thirteen media interviews awaited, with ten requiring video recording and the remaining three needing photography.

Zhou Lan had discussed with Zhou Yun, not only about makeup and hair, but also that at least thirteen sets of clothes need to be changed, as she could not appear in the same outfit for different media.

The thirteen outfits were prepared in advance, six of them from VX, and the other seven from other brands actively attempting to collaborate, including high-end brands like Valentine.

Due to the tight schedule of thirteen media interviews within two days, they planned not to waste time on makeup and hair but to adjust through some detailed aspects.

The first batch of media reporters were already in the lounge preparing and testing equipment.

Zhou Yun changed into her first outfit and followed the local staff to the interview location—in a suite at the hotel.

”Thanks for your hard work,” Zhou Yun said as she entered.

”You must be tired, just arrived at the hotel?” the chief editor asked.

Zhou Yun nodded and said, ”It’s been a rush, now I’m counting on you all.”

She showed her sunny smile.

After all, people aren’t made of iron, and by the fourth interview, Zhou Yun was already feeling a bit dizzy.

Even the interviewer noticed her gaze was somewhat scattered.

Zhou Yun came to her senses and said, ”Sorry, can I have five minutes to gather myself? I’m a bit disoriented.”

The interviewer nodded understandingly.

Zhou Yun turned to Zheng Xiaojue, ”Xiaoju, do you have something to eat? Get me some food, I’m so hungry.”

Zheng Xiaojue quickly brought over a plate of snacks, which she had prepared in advance.

Zhou Yun stuffed two pieces of snacks into her mouth and drank half a glass of milk, feeling a bit of energy returning.
