God's Imitator

The discussion was nearing its end. The players who needed to take a stance had all done so, and the plan had been roughly modified to a state that everyone could accept.

Regarding the six people providing the backstop for dividends, no one else raised objections.

Among the five players currently outside this selection, Yang Yuting, Qin Yao, Zheng Jie, Dai Yifan, and Zhou Guifen, none of them, like Wei Yinzhang, had proactively proposed the idea of ”giving up dividends and providing a backstop for them.”

Seeing that no one raised any other opinions, Li Renshu stood up and said, ”Then I’ll go submit the motion.

”Everyone should just vote according to their true inner thoughts.

”Regardless of whether this motion passes, it will be the collective choice of the community’s players.”

Li Renshu went to the Community Management Office. Soon, new information appeared on the big screen.

[A player has proposed a motion. The community has approved it for review.]

[Motion content: Add ’Fund Dividend Rules.’]

[1. Every week, players can receive dividends from the ’Luxury Goods Fund’ according to the formula: ’visa time paid by the player / total visa time paid by all players × current fund remaining visa time × 5%.’][2. Last month, if the community’s total returns were within 500,000 minutes of visa time, the dividend ratio is 5%. Based on this, for every additional 100,000 minutes of visa time, the dividend ratio increases by an additional 1%.]

[3. When a player dies in a game, all the funds they contributed within the community will automatically convert into dividends.]

[4. Fu Chen, Li Renshu, Cai Zhiyuan, Wang Yongxin, Lin Sizhi, and Wei Yinzhang, these 6 players do not receive dividends. When dividends are insufficient, visa time will be deducted from their personal accounts to make up the difference.]

[The default is equal division among the six, but they can freely negotiate and adjust the division internally.]

A 1-hour countdown appeared below.

Li Renshu had already returned from the Community Management Office and explained, ”I originally wrote a rule stating ’when the total visa time on a player exceeds 80,000 or 100,000, all excess visa time must be donated,’ but the community didn’t approve it.

”I thought about it. Although we could try other methods to bypass this rule, it’s not that urgent for now. Let’s temporarily complete this provision through ’voluntary’ and ’self-monitoring’ means.

”Additionally, the baseline dividend is calculated based on the approximate returns from previous games.

”We roughly participate in four games per month. The number of participants fluctuates quite a bit. When it’s few, only two or three players might participate. When it’s many, there could be six or even all members participating.

”If we calculate using the median value, it’s about 3 people. Each person’s average return is about 50,000 minutes of visa time, so the community’s average monthly return is about 600,000 minutes of visa time.

”Since this is a guaranteed amount, we’ll lower it slightly for easier calculation and set the baseline at 500,000. This way, for every additional 100,000 minutes of visa time, dividends increase by an additional 1%.

”We’ll start tracking from this month. That is, after four games, we’ll calculate the total returns and adjust the specific dividend ratio next month.”

Soon, everyone finished voting.

Wei Yinzhang still held the ’First Player Identity Card.’ According to the previous agreement, she didn’t participate in voting but instead did nothing, waiting for the voting countdown to end.

[Now announcing the anonymous voting results:]

[In favor: 7 votes.]

[Against: 3 votes.]

[’Fund Dividend Rules’ established.]

Seeing this result, Li Renshu was slightly surprised.

Because the votes in favor were even slightly higher than she had imagined.

Wei Yinzhang’s vote should also have been in favor, which meant the real count should be 8:3.

Although the rule of ”mandatory donation above 80,000” was removed in the end and changed to voluntary and self-monitoring, compared to the previous motion, this motion still had more explicit compulsion.

After the motion passed, everyone stood up and went to the vending machines to deposit their excess visa time into the ’Luxury Goods Fund.’

Fu Chen: donated 70,000.

Wei Yinzhang: donated 120,000.

Li Renshu: donated 100,000.

Dai Yifan: donated 30,000.

Cai Zhiyuan: donated 140,000.

Wang Yongxin: donated 80,000.

Qin Yao: donated 200,000.

Zhou Guifen: donated 90,000.

Zheng Jie: donated 160,000.

Yang Yuting: donated 140,000.

Lin Sizhi: donated 340,000.

The original luxury goods fund had 610,000. Purchasing the ’First Player Identity Card’ cost 200,000, and providing advice once cost 100,000.

With everyone donating all their excess visa time this time, the fund instantly surged to 1,780,000.

Of course, since the rule of ”mandatory donation above 80,000” didn’t pass, the specific donation amounts were only approximate values. It couldn’t be ruled out that some players might have kept an extra ten or twenty thousand for themselves.

As long as the amounts were roughly correct and no obvious problems could be seen, no one would quibble over this issue.

Adding the previously mandatory ’Community Security Fund’ portion, the community’s total fund amount had already exceeded 1,800,000.

Qin Yao was somewhat surprised, ”So much!”

Obviously, this number also exceeded most players’ expectations.

Although everyone knew before that each player had quite a bit of extra visa time, they really couldn’t grasp it that precisely.

Seeing this number now, they were still somewhat surprised.

Li Renshu nodded, ”It is indeed a lot, but we also need to be mentally prepared. For a long time, this should be our community’s peak state.

”This value will probably be difficult to maintain going forward, let alone increase.”

This surge was the result of all players depositing all their previous accumulated extra earnings into the community fund.

Going forward, players’ income would slow down, and the visa time gap needed to purchase various special items would grow larger and larger. Being able to maintain this fund amount would be good enough. Reaching the next tier would become very difficult.

Yang Yuting said, ”It’s okay. We’ll deal with future matters in the future. Let’s first see what new items there are.”

Everyone searched through the product list in the vending machines.
