God's Imitator

He Xiaojun’s luck wasn’t very good. Up to this point, he had accumulated 4 cards, and 3 of them were actually helmets.

However, judging from the previous situation, it didn’t really matter, because he could just go to the ‘Equipment Forging’ room and spend a small amount of chips to change the item type.

Although forging multiple times required paying additional chips, players could prioritize using cards that hadn’t been forged yet for conversion, so it wasn’t something too worrying.

What concerned He Xiaojun more was the room’s dividend issue.

”The dividends for this room should be almost completely distributed, right?

”When the next dividend comes, there should be a large number of players holding chips from this room collecting dividends. In that case, the profits will become very low.”

He Xiaojun looked at the current situation in ‘Auction Tycoon.’ There were already many players in the game room.

As the game progressed, the distribution of players had changed once again.

At this time, the ‘Equipment Forging’ room remained at full capacity for extended periods. Among them, the four players led by Chen Guangming seemed to have discovered a method for obtaining stable profits and were continuously hammering away at equipment with clanging sounds.

The other two game stations were occupied by rotating players. But clearly, these rotating players, due to not having enough practice time, couldn’t obtain stable profits like Chen Guangming and the others.

This way, it wasn’t cost-effective for them to continue playing in this room, so they would hastily leave after forging the cards they wanted. The players in the room remained transient.

Meanwhile, the number of players in ‘Auction Tycoon’ was also gradually increasing. More and more players, like He Xiaojun, had discovered the method for obtaining stable profits in this room.

The players in these two rooms combined already accounted for more than half of the entire hall.

The other players remained scattered across other rooms.

Different players were constantly playing single-player mode in ‘Sea Minesweeper,’ and there were also about 3 to 4 players still playing single-player mode in ‘Simple Poker’ for fixed output profits.

What was rather surprising was that ‘Compare Sizes,’ which had been very lively at first, had now become deserted again, with only 1 player left playing the single-player mode that could obtain stable profits.

Clearly, at this stage of the game, many game rooms’ dividends had been depleted, and players would naturally leave.

Those game rooms where God’s Imitators offered additional concessions began gathering more and more players.

...

He Xiaojun once again came to the auction terminal in the hall to check the current product list.

Sure enough, there were more items listed, but there were basically no Death Immunity Cards left, only chips from various rooms.

The value of these chips also already showed significant disparities.

‘Compare Sizes’ room chips were the least valuable. The ratio between chips and visa time had already fallen below 1000:100, and quite a few chips were listed on the auction house with no one interested.

The situation for ‘Simple Poker’ was slightly better. The exchange ratio between chips and visa time had reached around 500:100, but still, no one would purchase them.

These chips were already destined to rot in players’ hands and could no longer be used to exchange for any profits.

The chip values for ‘Sea Minesweeper’ and ‘Chess Endgame’ were still acceptable, with exchange ratios around 200:100, but the listed quantities weren’t much, and transaction volumes should also be low.

But because there were no longer stable methods for obtaining profits, even though these two rooms once had players playing in them, they had now become deserted. Both chip production and transaction volumes were plummeting rapidly.

Only the ‘Equipment Forging’ room chips remained strong, with an exchange ratio around 120:100.

Those few product listings from before with 1,000 points of chips listed at around 1,499 were still there. Probably no one would buy them.

Players could exchange chips at the chip exchange counter at a 1:1 ratio without limit. For players to sell chips on the auction terminal, they had to offer some discount. A ratio of 120:100 was already quite remarkable.

If certain players truly held large amounts of this room’s chips, they could still sell off large quantities through the auction terminal during the final hour.

As for ‘Auction Tycoon,’ there were currently no chips from this room on the auction terminal because this room had a 100% transaction tax. Even if chips were listed and sold, the seller wouldn’t receive any visa time.

”The chips from the ’Equipment Forging’ room are actually this stable?”

He Xiaojun even felt a bit regretful. It would have been better if he had played in this room from the start.

However, this wasn’t really a big problem. After all, the profits he obtained from the ‘Auction Tycoon’ room were quite sufficient.

As long as he could convert five different Death Immunity Cards through ‘Equipment Forging,’ he most likely wouldn’t become the player with the lowest profits.

However, when He Xiaojun came to the ‘Equipment Forging’ room preparing to forge cards again and convert the helmet-patterned Death Immunity Card into another body part, an unexpected situation occurred.

He discovered that there were actually no available game stations in the room!

Originally, 4 of the 6 stations in the room were permanently occupied, but there were still 2 game stations available. With players coming to forge intermittently, it was barely sufficient.

But now, all 6 game stations had been completely filled, and all the players seemed to have no intention of leaving.

The players currently occupying those two previously available game stations clearly couldn’t obtain stable profits yet, but they just stubbornly refused to leave.

There were quite a few players in the room who, like He Xiaojun, wanted to change their Death Immunity Cards, and they were becoming increasingly agitated.

”Hey! What are you doing? You clearly can’t obtain stable profits, so why are you stubbornly hogging the game stations?”

Someone was already impatiently shouting, but the players occupying these two game stations turned a deaf ear.

Just then, Chen Guangming came before everyone and clapped his hands.

”Alright, I completely understand everyone’s feelings about wanting to use the game stations to change card types, but from now on, the game rules have changed.

”You can use these game stations, but it’s no longer free.

”As for specifically how to do it...

”If any players want to use a game station, you can tell me, and I’ll go with you to the auction terminal to find items with 1,000 points of chips listed at 1,499 minutes of visa time.

”You purchase that item, and after I confirm I’ve received the visa time, I’ll allow you to use the game station.

”Alright, game time is limited, and the number of times you can forge cards is also limited. Everyone, decide quickly.”

As soon as these words were spoken, many players in the room erupted in an uproar.

He Xiaojun was also very shocked. The game could actually be played this way?

What was this? Indirectly selling game station usage rights?

But was this really feasible?

Soon, a player raised a question. ”What nonsense are you talking about? This game room doesn’t have any restriction rules for game station usage at all. They can be occupied indefinitely.

”How can you ensure that after selling usage rights, the players who buy them will obediently leave?”

Chen Guangming smiled indifferently. ”You don’t need to worry about that. I naturally have my own methods.

”Oh, and let me emphasize one more thing: 1,499 minutes of visa time is just the initial promotional price. This price will continue to rise afterward. If you really want to use a game station, you’d better make your decision quickly.”
