God's Imitator

Lin Sizhi nodded. ”Yes, judging from the settlement situation, in this game, the initial player death rate was lower than the predetermined 30%, while the initial God’s Imitator death rate was higher than the predetermined 20%.

”So players triggered one additional instant death penalty, while God’s Imitators did not.

”This also means that the truly brutal elimination actually occurred among the God’s Imitators.”

Wang Yongxin echoed, ”Some God’s Imitators took away most of the profits, preventing a large number of God’s Imitators from achieving the revenue targets required by the Gallery.”

Li Renshu said thoughtfully, ”Although we conducted corresponding analysis before entering the game, the designs given by the God’s Imitators were still quite surprising.

”Moreover, these game rooms really do differ greatly.

”Yinzhang, from a God’s Imitator’s perspective, please evaluate these game rooms.”

Wei Yinzhang clearly already had corresponding thoughts. After all, while the other players were in the game, she had remained in the community with ample time to think about the rules and design philosophy of these games.

”From the current situation, after the basic rules were determined, the God’s Imitators’ strategic thinking was actually divided into many layers:

”The first layer is the most basic. God’s Imitators should at least recognize that this is a game to screen God’s Imitators. They should try to design games with simple rules that are easy to pick up, while lowering the game’s rake and transaction tax as much as possible. Otherwise, if their game isn’t competitive and players don’t play it enough times, they inevitably won’t be able to obtain sufficient profits.”Although players have a tendency to disperse due to ’chip currency inflation,’ at the same time, the factor of ’God’s Imitator concessions’ will cause certain game rooms to continuously benefit, squeezing the survival space of other game rooms.

”So those game rooms with insufficient appeal might still have situations where ’dividends aren’t fully distributed,’ leading to the God’s Imitator’s death.

”The second layer goes further on this basis. Since all God’s Imitators can think of lowering rakes and transaction taxes, they might as well lower their rake to the minimum and only obtain guaranteed profits through transaction taxes.

”Even if their own profits decrease, as long as their profits barely meet the standard, that’s enough. As long as enough God’s Imitators fail to meet the standard, they themselves will still be safe.

”The third layer is to carefully calculate the transaction tax amount. Because under the premise that the rake must be set to 0, setting the transaction tax right at the minimum profit line doesn’t have enough margin for error.

”The transaction tax must be set high enough to collect sufficient chips from players. If set too low, once a situation occurs where ’funds are distributed but profits are still insufficient,’ the God’s Imitator will still certainly die.

”The fourth layer is to do the opposite. If most God’s Imitators thought of the third layer, then these rooms might very likely cause chip devaluation due to too many players. In that case, they might as well just return to the first layer.

”Still set rakes and transaction taxes, but provide methods for stable profit, letting players complete games despite the rake and transaction taxes. This way they can ensure their profits meet the standard.

”If they can provide additional concessions on this basis, it’s even more foolproof.

”The fifth layer is to jump outside the rules, no longer using rakes and transaction taxes to obtain profits, but trying to add other additional rules to the game to consume the room’s chips. This portion of consumed chips can also become the God’s Imitator’s profits.

”At the same time, this method of consuming chips can also ensure the exchange ratio between chips and visa time in the room remains stable, keeping players continuously playing in the room.

”However, games at this layer might have two different situations, one benevolent and one malicious.

”The sixth layer is to further jump outside the rules, not only achieving the above points but also finding ways to ’steal’ a portion of the game’s basic functions.

”That is, making moves on underlying rules like ’converting cards’ or ’auctions.’

”Once this ’stealing’ behavior succeeds, it can not only grab most players in the hall, but also completely squeeze the profits of other God’s Imitators.

”Like the existence of the ’Equipment Forging’ room, once players accept using this method to convert cards and stop using the ’Auction Terminal,’ then all rooms with ’0 rake, only earning profits through transaction taxes’ will be directly sentenced to death.

”From the actual situation in the game, there were still a small number of God’s Imitators who thought of the sixth layer.

”This instead caused large numbers of God’s Imitators at the second and third layers to die, while a large portion of God’s Imitators at the first and fourth layers could survive.”

Many people were somewhat confused listening, because not all players had encountered games like ‘Equipment Forging’ and ‘Auction Tycoon.’

Because they hadn’t participated, they couldn’t fully grasp what Wei Yinzhang was talking about.

Zheng Jie asked somewhat curiously, ”So Sister Wei, which layer did you roughly think of?”

Wei Yinzhang answered honestly, ”I thought of the fifth layer.

”’Worth the Wait’ is the game room I designed.”

Wang Yongxin thought for a moment and said approvingly, ”Actually, judging from the final results, thinking of the fifth layer was the most prudent choice.

”Because no matter what the specific situation in the game hall is, the fifth layer can basically ensure stable profits. It’s the safest.

”Although sixth layer games seem very aggressive, directly taking away profits from many other rooms with higher returns, the risk is also very high.

”Not to mention whether such rules can pass review and successfully take effect, even if they can, they might very likely collide with other sixth layer games, creating risk.

”Most importantly, this type of game actually requires a lot of player cooperation. If the players in a certain game hall are generally rather dumb, this type of game still has a high probability of failing.

”Of course, for those ambitious God’s Imitators, the reason they designed sixth layer games might not just be to purely earn visa time.

”More likely, they designed them specifically to kill as many other God’s Imitators as possible.”

Li Renshu proposed, ”Let’s look at the detailed rules of these game rooms.”

Wei Yinzhang nodded and began selecting representative games to introduce.

”A representative game at the first layer is ’Chess Endgame.’

”This is clearly a ’thought too little’ game. It set both a rake and transaction tax, didn’t arrange a single-player mode, and didn’t arrange fixed profits.

”If the other games were all at the second and third layers, the God’s Imitator who designed this game would have difficulty surviving.

”But because sixth layer games appeared, the God’s Imitator who designed it might instead be able to survive.”
