Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 82: Chapter 72: Slapping the Alchemist Johnny_2

As a super handsome guy, the first impression I leave on beautiful women is incredibly important. So, before I start the lecture, I’ll perform one of my special tricks for the three lovely ladies.

With that decided, Johnny announced, ”Students, your teacher will now demonstrate one of his special skills. When you see it, don’t be surprised, and certainly don’t become obsessed...”

With that, Johnny began to demonstrate his specialty, a Martial Technique known as ’Foot Rising, Stone Falling.’

At his feet lay a stone resembling a soccer ball, and five hundred meters away, there was a target. The trick Johnny intended to perform was to kick the stone with such accuracy that it would fly straight into the target and explode on impact.

When the students saw the large, round stone at Johnny’s feet and then looked at the distant target, they couldn’t help but be filled with admiration for their teacher. They watched as Teacher Johnny took a running start, then swung his big leg powerfully at the stone. As he kicked, he even spared a sideways glance for the three beauties standing at the back of the crowd: Miss Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian.

Johnny chuckled inwardly. My dear beauties, this ’Foot Rising, Stone Falling’ move of mine will surely leave Miss Lili dumbfounded, make the beautiful Yu Lan look at me with complete awe, and have the lovely Xuelian give me a thumbs-up. At the same time, my flawless performance will show you just how amazing I am, making you forget all about Zhao Rong and fall for me instead. Once you’ve fallen for me, I can replace that stinking bodyguard Zhao Rong. I’ll get to parade through the streets with you three, making everyone we pass burn with envy.

A knowing smile spread across Johnny’s face at the thought.

He kicked fiercely at the stone.

At that exact moment, Zhao Rong activated his Special Abilities. With reflexes a hundred times faster than an ordinary person and lightning speed, he acted. Just as Teacher Johnny’s foot swung down, ready to soak in the inevitable applause and cheers, Zhao Rong used Instant Teleportation to move the stone out from under his foot.

The supremely confident Teacher Johnny, who had been certain of his success, swung his foot through empty air. He not only missed the stone but kicked his own shoe off. The sheer force of the kick sent him flying forward, and he face-planted into the ground.

Just as all the students were preparing to witness their teacher’s powerful performance, they were treated to this utterly comical scene instead. Instantly, the entire audience erupted in thunderous laughter.

A student with a beer belly jeered, ”What the hell? Wasn’t he supposed to perform ’Foot Rising, Stone Falling’? How did he miss the stone and kick his shoe off instead? What a useless oaf...”

A buck-toothed student roared with laughter, ”Teacher Johnny is such a clown! To embarrass himself in front of so many people... that’s the ultimate disgrace.”

Another student with knock-knees added, ”Look at him! He fell flat on his face! What a total fool.”

Listening to the mockery from his students, Teacher Johnny struggled to his feet. What in the world just happened? he wondered. I was aiming right at the stone under my foot. How could I have missed completely? Was I seeing things?

He shook his head, thinking, Oh well. Even if the other students are laughing at me, it’s fine as long as the three beauties aren’t.

But just as Johnny was comforting himself with this thought, Miss Lili suddenly burst out laughing. ”Yu Lan, Xuelian, look! When Teacher Johnny fell, he landed on a huge pile of dog poop!”

At her words, the three women burst into laughter in unison, mocking Johnny’s embarrassing predicament.

Hearing this, Johnny froze. No way! he thought. How could I be this unlucky? Falling down was bad enough, but did I really have to land my butt in dog poop?

He reached back and felt his rear, his hand coming away with a handful of the stuff. To make matters worse, it wasn’t just any dog poop—it was a fresh pile. With a look of agony, Johnny flicked the filth from his hand, quickly pulled a tissue from his pocket, and started wiping himself off. ”Damn it! Which blind, stinking dog had to take a crap right on my performance stage?”

At that moment, an incredibly ugly dog was seen hastily scurrying away from the crowd.

After Johnny finished cleaning the smelly dog poop off his rear, he thought, Good thing I wiped that off quickly, or I would have been utterly humiliated.

He was just feeling relieved that the three beauties had only laughed at him once when Yu Lan suddenly seemed to spot something else on the ground. She howled with laughter. ”Miss Lili, Xuelian, look! That fall knocked out one of Teacher Johnny’s front teeth!”

Hearing this, the three beauties once again erupted in laughter.

Johnny was stunned. It can’t be, he thought. Was the fall really that bad? Did I really lose a front tooth?

He ran his tongue over his teeth and, sure enough, discovered that the fall hadn’t just knocked out a front tooth, but a canine tooth as well.

Just as Johnny was lamenting his terrible luck, Xuelian gasped as if she’d discovered a new continent. ”You two, look! There’s a dung beetle in Teacher Johnny’s collar!”

With that, the three of them were overcome with laughter.

Hearing he had a dung beetle in his collar, a disbelieving Johnny reached up to grab it. Sure enough, his fingers closed around something. He not only caught the dung beetle but crushed it and the little ball of dung it had been rolling. When Johnny stared at the remains of the beetle and the ball of excrement in his hand, he nearly passed out.

His face turned ashen with anger. It’s over, he thought despairingly. My first impression on the three beauties has ended in the most infuriating and disgraceful way imaginable.

In stark contrast to Johnny’s wretched state, Zhao Rong was smugly lounging in the grass on the athletic field, playing ”King’s Glory” on his phone.

Suddenly, it seemed to dawn on Johnny that his humiliation had been deliberately orchestrated by Zhao Rong. He glared at Zhao Rong, who was relaxing at the very back of the crowd. ”Zhao Rong, get over here!” he shouted. ”I’m going to teach alchemy now! You will learn with us. If you can’t learn it, or if you fail, you will leave my class.”

Zhao Rong, Johnny thought vindictively, I may have lost the first round, letting you steal the show while I lost face... but in this second round, I’ll make sure you’re the one who’s humiliated in front of the entire class.

With that, Johnny pointed to a Medicinal Cauldron in front of him and began to lecture the class on alchemy.
