Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 62: Chapter 54 How about the local bully, you are still convinced when beaten up_2

He looked Zhao Rong up and down, then said with an expression of utter disdain, ”Kid, what gives you the right to have four beauties all to yourself? Hand two of them over.”

As he spoke, the thug in the trench coat pointed at Xuelian and Tao Hua. The men following him—one in a jacket and another in a tank top—likewise set their sights on Miss Lili and Yu Lan.

Hearing a stranger approach and spout such nonsense, Zhao Rong replied politely, ”Sir, do we know each other?”

The man in the trench coat, practically drooling over Xuelian and Tao Hua, said, ”Well, we’ve met by chance, so that makes us acquainted, right? And since we’re acquainted, why don’t you introduce me to these two beauties?”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong politely asked Xuelian and Tao Hua, ”Would you like to get to know this man?”

Without even glancing at him, Tao Hua said, ”Goldfish eyes, a toad’s mouth, and uglier than sin. And he thinks he can pick up girls? What a joke.”

Xuelian added, ”He thinks wearing a trench coat makes him Keanu Reeves, but he looks more like a street-stall knockoff.”

Incensed that the two beauties were actually insulting him, the man in the trench coat snarled, ”Damn it! I’ve been running this street for decades, and no one has ever dared to insult me! You two have some nerve!”

Tao Hua shot back, not yielding an inch, ”So what if I insulted you? I’ll say it again: you’re a pig-headed, ugly moron...”

Xuelian joined in, ”Your mom’s a pig, your dad’s a dog, and your brother’s a donkey...”

Although the two women were usually quiet, they were viciously eloquent when they started insulting someone. The man in the trench coat was left utterly defenseless by their verbal assault.

Fuming, he declared, ”I usually just bully women, but today, I’m going to beat one!”

Hearing the brute threaten to hit a woman, Zhao Rong immediately intervened. Stepping between them, he said, ”You can hit me, but you are not touching these two.”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong blocked the man, preventing him from getting any closer to the women.

The man in the trench coat looked at Zhao Rong’s thin frame and sneered, ”Fine. Since you’re asking for a beating, I’ll show you what I’m made of today.” With that, he pulled a knife from his waistband and charged.

When the nearby vendors saw the college student provoking the local thug, they cried out in alarm. ”Young man, you can’t afford to mess with him, and you definitely can’t beat him! You should take your friends and get out of here. It’s too dangerous!”

”That guy is vicious!” another vendor yelled. ”He’s undefeated on this street! You look so frail; you’re no match for him.”

Hearing the vendors’ fear only bolstered his confidence. The man in the trench coat grinned at Zhao Rong. ”Today, I’m sending you to the Western Heaven.” With that, he lunged with his knife.

Faced with the attack, Zhao Rong didn’t dodge. He simply dropped into a horse stance and channeled True Qi from his Dantian. ”Pushing Hands, Coat-Stripping Art!” he roared.

In an instant, the man who had been so proud of his trench coat was stripped completely naked by Zhao Rong’s technique. Still in shock, having not even landed a blow, the man scrambled in terror to cover his groin.

Although he was quick, his private parts had already been exposed to the crowd. When everyone saw that beneath the tough exterior and pretentious trench coat, the man was packing nothing more than a tiny worm, a wave of derisive laughter erupted.

The fruit vendor snorted, ”Damn, and I thought he was so tough. Turns out he’s just got a little worm.”

”What little worm? That’s a tadpole!” the shopkeeper corrected.

A man selling pancakes added, ”So he’s just a poser! The thing’s as small as a toothpick...”

Hearing the mockery all around him, the man burst into tears. ”Damn it! The secret I’ve hidden for decades... you little bastard just exposed it! In front of everyone, on the street! I... I’ll kill you!”

Behind him, when his two lackeys saw that their boss was, in fact, so poorly endowed, they burst out laughing. ”Shit, the boss always acted so tough. Who knew he was hiding something so tiny? He really is Toothpick Bro.”

The man in the vest added with a smirk, ”Looks like the two of us could totally take the boss down ourselves now.”

The man in the trench coat was about to charge when he heard the laughter. It wasn’t just the crowd; even his own men were mocking him. He was overcome with a humiliation so deep he felt he could never show his face on this street again.

He focused all his rage into the knife in his hand and lunged at Zhao Rong.

Facing the ferocious charge, Zhao Rong remained motionless. He simply held his horse stance, once again gathering force from his Dantian.

He’s using the same stance as before, the trench coat man thought. I have no secrets left to hide and no clothes left to be stripped. What’s he going to do, try to strip me again? Dream on!

But he never expected Zhao Rong to shout a different technique name: ”Tree-Toppling Push!”

As Zhao Rong’s palms released their True Qi, it didn’t strike the man but the large tree standing directly behind him. The trunk instantly snapped in half. The broken half of the tree came crashing down right on top of the charging thug.

The thug was just about to reach Zhao Rong, thinking one stab would be enough to end him and satisfy the hatred in his heart, when the massive tree trunk slammed down onto his head.

Before he could even react, the falling tree smashed into him, and blood gushed from his scalp. As he collapsed in a crumpled, pain-filled heap, he muttered, ”Everyone... said I was clever... using surprise tactics to win fights... But I never imagined... you little bastard... you’re even smarter than me... You beat me... without even fighting...”

With that, he passed out.

The crowd of vendors stared in awe. The trench coat man had been so arrogant and imperious, bullying everyone on the street. Now, Zhao Rong had effortlessly defeated him, leaving him bleeding and unconscious on the ground. A wave of cheers and praise erupted from the onlookers.

The beef noodle stall owner exclaimed, ”That amazing kid! He’s avenged all of us small business owners on East Main Street and taken down a tyrant!”

The Sichuanese chef, brandishing a large ladle, declared emotionally, ”The heavens have opened their eyes! They sent a young hero to help us oppressed vendors. He thrashed that thug and gave us the justice we deserved!”

The owner of the hotpot restaurant was even more direct. She rushed over to Zhao Rong and said, ”Young man, from now on, whenever you come to our place for hotpot, it’s on the house!” With that, she pressed a gold card into his hand.

Zhao Rong had just taken the gold card when the owner of a high-end buffet approached. He eagerly presented Zhao Rong with a VIP card, saying, ”With our restaurant’s VIP card, you can eat at our seafood buffet for free, for life.”

In less than ten minutes, Zhao Rong’s hands were full. He had received over a hundred gold cards, silver cards, and VIP cards from the surrounding vendors, all for free meals and shopping.

Zhao Rong clutched the pile of cards, stunned. And here I was, worried I wouldn’t be able to spend all the money I’d earned. Now food and shopping are free, too. It looks like my savings are just going to keep growing.

Just as Zhao Rong was marveling at how a simple outing to beat up a thug had resulted in such a windfall, a figure with a green face and fearsome fangs suddenly rushed out from behind, heading straight for him.
