Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 61: Chapter 54 No Matter How Local They Are, They Will Still Acknowledge Defeat

Tao Hua peeked over her lute and coyly said, ”Push Hands, Lift Clothes.”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong understood the unique aspect of this martial technique from its name alone.

Zhao Rong said, ”Even if I were to master the ’Push Hands, Lift Clothes’ martial technique, I wouldn’t use it regularly. I only use ’Blow Rope, It Severs’ and ’Hit Tree, It Falls.’”

Tao Hua added, ”Moreover, the ’Push Hands, Lift Clothes’ martial technique works not just on girls, but on boys too.”

The assistant, who was squatting on the ground after being thrashed by the three beauties, overheard this. Such a miraculous martial technique, and you can master it at level thirteen? And Zhao Rong doesn’t even want it? No way! I have to cultivate diligently, reach level thirteen as soon as possible, and master ’Push Hands, Lift Clothes.’ Then I can use it on the beautiful Yu Lan, the girl I secretly adore...

Thinking of this, the assistant couldn’t help but snicker to himself.

Compared to Zhao Rong, who had already reached level thirteen, the three beauties—Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian—had reached level three, while the assistant had only just made it to level one.

「The next day」

The three girls clamored to go shopping for clothes on East Main Street, the busiest district in the city. So, Zhao Rong took the three beauties and Tao Hua out of the villa, planning to drive his Mercedes to the bustling part of the city to buy them clothes.

As everyone settled into the car, the assistant came chasing after them.

”Take me with you! Take me too!” he shouted as he ran.

Seeing the assistant approach, Yu Lan said hurriedly, ”Zhao Rong, let’s just go. Why bring him? He’s more trouble than he’s worth.”

Before Yu Lan could finish her sentence, the assistant had already dashed to the car. He opened the door and said, ”Zhao Rong, it’s been so long since I’ve been out. I want to come along for a stroll, too.”

Hearing that the assistant also wanted to go, Zhao Rong looked at the full car and apologized, ”I’d like to take you, but there’s simply no room left.”

Upon hearing this, the assistant had a spur-of-the-moment idea. ”If the car is full, I’ll just make do in the trunk.”

As he spoke, he actually opened the car’s trunk and climbed inside.

Seeing the assistant get in, Zhao Rong tried to warn him with the best of intentions, ”Hey, the trunk of my car is right next to the engine. It’s going to get really hot in there.”

The assistant, however, didn’t take Zhao Rong’s kind warning seriously. That rascal Zhao Rong... if you don’t want me to go, just say so. There’s no need to lie and say the trunk is connected to the engine. Who would believe that, anyway?

After lying down in the trunk, he thought to himself again. I said I was just going out for a stroll, but really I just want to impress Yu Lan. It can’t be helped, I fancy her so much.

With that thought, the assistant chuckled knowingly.

Seeing the assistant so determined to stay in the trunk, Zhao Rong just shook his head and drove off.

Sure enough, as soon as the car hit the road, heat from the engine transferred directly into the trunk. For the assistant, being in there felt as agonizing as being roasted in an oven.

He was nearly dead from the heat. Damn it! If I’d known Zhao Rong wasn’t lying, I would’ve tried to squeeze in with the others... I’m never getting in a trunk again. It’s like being roasted alive in here!

A short while later, the car arrived at the bustling East Main Street. Zhao Rong found a parking spot and then led the four beauties out for a walk.

When Zhao Rong, a man who was neither tall nor handsome, appeared on the city’s busiest street leading four top-tier beauties, it caused quite a stir. East Main Street was the most bustling place in Xijing City, boasting a sea of beautiful women and countless handsome men. But as crowded with beauties as it was, when Zhao Rong walked onto the street with Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and Tao Hua, all the other women were plainly outshone.

While everyone marveled at the four women’s heavenly beauty, they were also in awe of Zhao Rong’s prowess.

An uncle selling grilled squid skewers, puffing on his pipe, looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”This kid is my idol... When can I, the skewer uncle, ever be like him, strolling down East Main Street with four beauties? How cool would that be?”

Before the man could finish, his stout wife came out and kicked him in the butt. ”You? With beauties? Get back to grilling your skewers!”

A young man selling frozen yogurt pops from a stall near the bell tower gazed at Zhao Rong with envy. ”If I could ever work hard enough to be like that guy, walking around with four top-tier beauties, my life’s ambition would be fulfilled.”

All along the way, in addition to drawing the envy of the crowd, they received enthusiastic greetings from every shopkeeper. Even though Zhao Rong wasn’t buying clothes, he still got to enjoy the VIP treatment thanks to the four beauties’ radiance.

However, just as Zhao Rong and the four women were heading from East Main Street toward West Main Street, a local ruffian in a windbreaker, followed by a few cronies, began to tail them from a distance. When onlookers saw the man in the windbreaker set his sights on the group, they all began to worry for Zhao Rong and the women.

The man in the windbreaker was a notorious local bully. He enjoyed harassing men and preying on women. Whenever he saw a pretty lady on East Main Street, he would always try to hit on her.

Just as Zhao Rong and the four beauties were about to cross the street, the man in the windbreaker stepped directly in front of them.
