Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 60: Chapter 53: Breakthrough to Level 13

Seeing the assistant laugh, Miss Lili glared at him and said, ”We’re about to tie you up, and you’re still laughing?”

Hearing this, the assistant said happily, ”I just love being... bound by women, especially three top-tier beauties like you.”

Looking at the assistant’s lecherous expression, Yu Lan sighed. ”This guy is a complete pervert.”

With that, the three beauties led the assistant out of the room and toward the rooftop.

Watching Miss Lili lead the way with a rope in hand, the assistant wondered, Aren’t the three beauties going to... bind me? Why aren’t we doing it in the room? Where are we going?

When he saw that they had brought him to the rooftop, he was instantly stunned. He looked at the three beauties and said, ”So you beauties are this adventurous, bringing me all the way to the rooftop to play... bondage... But why didn’t you bring a whip and candles?”

Hearing this, Yu Lan finally understood that the ”bondage” the assistant was talking about and the ”tying him up” they had in mind were two completely different things. She cursed angrily, ”We’re not playing... games with you! We’re going to tie you with this rope and lower you from the roof to Tao Hua’s window. We need to see if Brother Zhao Rong and Tao Hua are actually cultivating or doing something they shouldn’t be!”

At her words, the assistant instantly deflated. So it’s not the kind of... bondage I was hoping for, he thought.

Miss Lili and Yu Lan stepped forward with a hemp rope and, in a flash, had the assistant all tied up. They brought him to the edge of the roof. ”Are you going to go down yourself, or do you want us three beauties to give you a little push?”

Standing at the edge of the roof and looking down at the four or five-story villa, the assistant’s legs instantly turned to jelly. He said fearfully, ”So when you said you’d tie me up, you meant you were going to bind me and lower me from the roof?”

He then began to worry. I weigh two hundred pounds. Can three slender women like them actually hold me? If they lose their grip and I fall from this height, it’s a death sentence!

Seeing the assistant hesitate at the edge, the three beauties exchanged a look, then simultaneously took a step back. Lifting their skirts, they each stood on their left leg and kicked out with their right. Three beautiful legs connected at once, kicking the assistant right off the roof.

Just as the falling assistant reached the level of Tao Hua’s fourth-floor window, the three beauties pulled the rope taut, stopping his descent.

Dangling by the rope around his waist just outside Tao Hua’s window, the assistant was marveling at his good fortune in not having fallen to his death when his phone rang. It was Yu Lan calling from the rooftop.

”Assistant, can you see?” Yu Lan asked. ”What exactly are Tao Hua and Brother Zhao Rong doing in there?”

The assistant peered intently into the room. Tao Hua was focused on transferring True Qi to Zhao Rong, helping him level up.

”Yu Lan, Tao Hua is transferring True Qi to Zhao Rong,” the assistant reported. ”They really are just cultivating, nothing else.”

Hearing this, the three women on the roof instantly relaxed.

Yu Lan, still holding the rope, said, ”I told you Brother Zhao Rong is a man of exceptional integrity, but you didn’t believe me. Do you believe me now?”

”Who said I didn’t believe it?” Miss Lili retorted. ”I knew from the start that Brother Zhao Rong and Tao Hua wouldn’t do anything inappropriate. It was you two who were doubtful, which is why I agreed to lower the assistant down to check.”

Xuelian added, ”A man as principled as Brother Zhao Rong is a rare find these days.”

While the three beauties showered praise on Zhao Rong, the assistant hung uncomfortably in mid-air, tugging miserably at the rope, hoping they would pull him up.

Just then, inside the room, Tao Hua finished the True Qi transfer. She let out a long sigh of relief. ”Zhao Rong, it is done.” With that, she lowered the hands that had been channeling energy into him.

Hearing her declaration of success, Zhao Rong immediately stood up. ”Tao Hua, did I really go from level twelve to thirteen?”

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Tao Hua nodded. ”Don’t believe me? Why don’t you give it a try?”

”How do I try?” Zhao Rong asked curiously.

Tao Hua explained, ”Once a cultivator reaches level thirteen, they gain two new abilities: to snap a rope with a breath and to topple a tree with a push.”

Hearing about the ability to snap a rope with a breath, Zhao Rong asked curiously, ”Tao Hua, what does that mean?”

”Once a cultivator reaches level thirteen,” she explained, ”the True Qi within the storm in their Dantian begins to surge. So, if you blow on any rope within five meters... it will break.”

Hearing that reaching level thirteen came with such an incredible ability, Zhao Rong was eager to try it. The only problem was, he didn’t have a rope.

Just as he was looking around for one, the assistant hanging outside the window grew worried that the people inside might see him. He pressed his hands against the wall and shimmied to the side, hiding his body from view. The rope tied around his waist, however, was now dangling right in front of the window.

When Zhao Rong happened to notice a rope suddenly hanging outside the window, he asked Tao Hua, puzzled, ”Tao Hua, why is there a rope hanging outside your window?”

Without giving it much thought, she said, ”Zhao Rong, didn’t you want to test what ’snapping a rope with a breath’ is like? Here’s your chance. Aren’t you going to try?”

Zhao Rong thought she had a point. Why not test his new power on the rope outside the window?

He focused, channeled a breath of energy from the storm within his Dantian, and blew forcefully at the rope.

Instantly, the rope snapped.

But immediately after, Zhao Rong heard a bloodcurdling scream. He saw that his skill had worked, but he wondered where that scream had come from.

At that moment, the three beauties on the rooftop started shrieking.

”It’s over! How did the assistant fall from the fourth floor?”

”Oh my god, he’s done for this time.”

”No way! How could such a sturdy rope just snap like that?”

Hearing voices from above, Zhao Rong stuck his head out the window. Since the three beauties were standing on the rooftop and were all wearing skirts, when he looked up, he was immediately treated to an unexpected view. He froze for a moment at the sight up their skirts before quickly looking down.

When he looked down, he saw the assistant, with the broken rope still tied around his waist, sprawled flat on his back in the grass below. Realizing that the rope he’d just snapped with a breath was the assistant’s lifeline, Zhao Rong couldn’t help but gasp.

He rushed downstairs apologetically and helped the assistant up from where he lay on the lawn. ”Brother, I’m so sorry! If I’d known that rope was keeping you alive, I never would have broken it.”

Covered in mud, the assistant replied, ”Zhao Rong, I don’t blame you... I blame... the three beauties who tricked me. They lured me to the rooftop, saying they wanted to play... bondage... Who knew they’d actually tie me up and hang me in mid-air...”

With that, the assistant fainted.

Just then, the three women came rushing down from the roof. When Miss Lili saw the assistant lying there, looking half-dead, she screamed in terror, ”This is horrible, he fell to his death!”

Xuelian also looked at the lifeless assistant, certain he was seriously injured.

In contrast to Lili’s and Xuelian’s terror, Yu Lan calmly found a ladle, scooped up some cold water, and walked over. She tossed the entire ladle of cold water directly onto the assistant’s face.

Instantly, the assistant shot up. He clutched his arms and yelled, ”Jeez! I was just pretending to be dead! Did you really have to throw cold water on me?”

When they heard the assistant wasn’t dead but had been faking it, the four women flew into a rage and gave him a sound beating.

Zhao Rong stood to the side, watching the assistant’s sorry state. Those who are pitiable often have a detestable side, he thought.

After they finished with the assistant, the three beauties gathered around Zhao Rong. Lili took his left hand and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, we were wrong about you. You must be exhausted after cultivating all night.”

Zhao Rong looked at Lili’s shy expression and smiled. ”It’s no trouble. As long as I can level up, any hardship is worth it.”

Yu Lan’s face was flushed as she looked at him. ”Then, Brother Zhao Rong, congratulations from me on leveling up again.”

Xuelian shyly lowered her head, her heart filled with affection. ”Brother Zhao Rong, if we had known you were really cultivating with Sister Tao Hua, we never would have disturbed you.”

Listening to them, Zhao Rong chuckled. ”It’s alright. Let bygones be bygones. Now, let me demonstrate the new skill I’ve mastered: to topple a tree with a push.”

Saying this, he positioned himself five meters away from a small tree next to Yu Lan. He settled into a solid horse stance, gathered power from the storm in his Dantian, and unleashed the force with both palms. A sudden burst of True Qi shot from his hands.

Instantly, the small tree beside Yu Lan snapped in half.

To everyone’s astonishment, however, at the exact moment the tree broke, the blast of True Qi from Zhao Rong’s palms also blew all of Yu Lan’s clothes clean off. Yu Lan was left standing before everyone in nothing but her underwear.

As her exquisite figure was laid bare, Yu Lan shyly squatted down. She grabbed a few large leaves to cover herself and looked at Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re so naughty. If you wanted to take my clothes off, you could have just said so. Why did you have to pretend it was about toppling a tree?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong was mortified. He thought to himself, The True Qi from my palms was clearly aimed at the tree. How could it have stripped off all of Yu Lan’s clothes?

Just then, Tao Hua walked over from behind, looking apologetic. ”I’m sorry,” she said to Zhao Rong. ”I forgot to tell you. Now that you’ve reached level thirteen, in addition to being able to ’snap a rope with a breath’ and ’topple a tree with a push,’ you can also...”

She trailed off, suddenly too embarrassed to finish.

Seeing her hesitate, Zhao Rong urged, ”Tao Hua, what’s the other skill? Hurry up and tell me!”

Tao Hua blushed. ”Alright, I’ll tell you, but you need to be mentally prepared.”

”I’m prepared,” Zhao Rong said. ”Just tell me.”
