Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Rumor.

This kind of thing lacks any scientific basis, yet is the hardest to ignore.

Chen Wen was immediately intrigued by Hua Yun’s words: ”Tell me more.”

Hua Yun laughed, ”Rumor has it that all newcomers will exhaust their luck right after the Mountain Extreme Challenge in their first Eight Extremes Challenge, making survival extremely difficult afterwards.”

Xu Qiang’s face changed immediately.

Clearly, he was a victim of this rumor.

Seeing Xu Qiang’s reaction, Chen Wen couldn’t help but grin.

Goodness, is Xu a victim of the rumor too?

At this moment, Liu Yu tapped the table, drawing everyone’s attention: ”Rumors are not worth believing. Back in my day, I also participated in the Eight Extremes Challenge for the first time and then went straight to the Mountain Extreme Challenge.”

Then, Xu Qiang muttered, ”And then, during your first Swamp Extreme Challenge, you set the fastest elimination record... I remember you survived only seven days before getting eliminated.”

This made Liu Yu’s face blush with embarrassment: ”Didn’t I run into the joint team of Ah San and the Americans right away? They eliminated me! That’s entirely luck...”

As he spoke, Liu Yu realized the blind spot: ”Hmm! Seems like that’s true! Chen Wen, are you sure you want to challenge? Logically speaking, my luck also took a turn after completing the Mountain Extreme Challenge, and I recovered after failing twice.”

Chen Wen waved his hand, as he had his own means and methods for boosting luck: ”Relax, generally speaking, I trust luck, but I trust my strength even more. With enough strength, you can defy fate!”

Liu Yu nodded, satisfied with Chen Wen’s confidence: ”Good, since you’re confident, let’s see how you perform. If it’s too challenging after the Mountain Extreme Challenge, you can join Hua Yun in the Forest Extreme Challenge to offset it.”

Hua Yun’s face went dark.

What do you mean by offsetting it with me!

Everyone laughed.

A moment later.

Liu Yu said, ”Since you’ve decided to participate in the Mountain Extreme Challenge, this time you’re going alone, so I’ll share the stored relevant data and necessary information with you. Remember, this information must not be disclosed!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen nodded solemnly.

He knew that Liu Yu was finally going to reveal the Burning Skill!

During the last Desert Extreme Challenge, Dennis mentioned multiple times that the Hua Association liked to keep things under wraps, which had caught Chen Wen’s attention back then.

After a pause, Liu Yu said, ”Other than Australia’s Desert Extreme Challenge, the rest have some crucial information or unique insights from our association. Today, we’ll teach you about the Mountain Extreme Challenge. Hua Yun, you should listen carefully too; it will definitely come in handy later.”

Hua Yun immediately perked up, with a serious look in his eyes.

Liu Yu took a breath and said, ”First, you can trust the herders, but only those wearing traditional clothing, you can seek assistance from them and ask for supplies, but don’t overdo it; our association is quite familiar with the herders.”

Chen Wen’s eyes lit up.

Goodness, worthy of the Burning Skill!

It’s even ranked, and the first one is so useful!

At this moment, Hua Yun asked Chen Wen’s question: ”But why only herders in traditional attire?”

Xu Qiang, on the side, explained: ”Because these herders can be trusted. They have had close cooperation with us before, but those modernized herders are another story. Their backgrounds are quite mixed, it’s uncertain.”

Chen Wen nodded as if deep in thought.

After Liu Yu and the others clarified the distinction, he continued: ”Second, our country has established numerous wildlife monitoring points in Qiangtang, along with patrol and duty personnel; later, I’ll show you a map marked with these places. If you encounter patrol and duty personnel, you can ask them for help, as long as you speak Chinese.”

Chen Wen’s eyes lit up again.

Goodness, there are experts too!

This is a mobile resource supply point!

Hua Yun shared the same look.

And after pausing again, Liu Yu added: ”Third, be cautious of the mining areas; there are some mines inside Qiangtang that you should avoid getting close to, understood?”

This time, Chen Wen and Hua Yun were taken aback, even mines need caution?

But they didn’t ask further, and neither Liu Yu nor Xu Qiang seemed inclined to explain.

The three considerations yielded great insights for Chen Wen.

At this point, Liu Yu added, ”Additionally, Chen Wen, you seem to dislike showing your full strength on camera.”

Hearing this, Chen Wen’s body instinctively straightened.

To him, this was his biggest secret.

But Liu Yu didn’t delve any deeper and instead said, ”We are the organizers of the Mountain Extreme Challenge, so you can turn off the drone survival, just switch it on periodically to let our people know you’re okay.”

”This is a perk of the organizer; back in the Desert Extreme Challenge, Australia did the same; when Xu Qiang was surviving with their seed player, the drone was shut off for seven days.”

Xu Qiang nodded slightly and added, ”Actually, cheating is quite visible to everyone, and the places we survive are sparsely populated, making cheating costly. This mainly prevents showcasing participants’ unique techniques to outsiders.”

”Like, say, the seed player from Australia; he’s a lot like you, he can tame animals, so the scenes of him taming animals weren’t broadcast, but you as an outsider won’t deliberately hide your animal taming scenes.”

Chen Wen responded helplessly: ”There’s even a home-field advantage here, unbelievable...”

Liu Yu also laughed somewhat helplessly: ”Well, who can be blamed? Wherever there are people, there’s a martial world.”

...

After discussing with Liu Yu, Chen Wen confirmed his intention to register.

After enrolling in the Mountain Extreme Challenge, Chen Wen quickly began preparing.

First, he went back to the island, gave some instructions, and transferred two million to a bank card controlled by Jiang Xue, putting her in charge of the island’s expenses during his survival challenge.

Ensuring the animals can live comfortably.

Besides this, Chen Wen also asked Belmont for help with betting.

And Lv Guocheng, to keep an eye on the island.

After doing all this.

Chen Wen returned to the association and began heading to Qiangtang with Liu Yu.

Soon after.

When the plane landed at the airport, Chen Wen’s distance from sea level soared to thousands of meters.

He stood on land hailed as the roof of the world, looking at the closer, bluer sky.

His eyes involuntarily sparkled with intense light.

Here on this land, a new challenge began!
