Wilderness Survival with Druid System

With the security personnel in place.

Chen Wen’s recruitment process was also coming to an end.

This time, he hired ten caretakers and two rotating veterinarians.

The ten caretakers were recommended by Jiang Xue, and the two veterinarians were hired by Chen Wen from the zoo designer who had given him a business card.

They are all top talents, and in terms of character, after Chen Wen’s observation in recent days, they are also quite good.

As time moved to May.

Chen Wen also finished his recuperation.

A few days ago, he received a notification from Liu Yu.

Liu Yu informed Chen Wen that if he felt his recuperation was almost complete, he could come to the association to report.

After all, since the Desert Extreme Challenge ended, Chen Wen had been busy with island matters.

The association merely made a greeting, and he hadn’t visited once.

Apart from reporting, there were also some rewards at the association for the contestants who passed.

Flying his own small plane, Chen Wen quickly arrived at the association.

There weren’t many people at the association, and after asking a staff member, Chen Wen learned that today was another team’s expedition day, participating in the Sea Extreme Challenge.

Sea Extreme Challenge, huh.

Chen Wen recalled the contents of the Sea Extreme Challenge and couldn’t help but shake his head.

The Sea Extreme Challenge could be said to be the hardest challenge among the Eight Extremes Challenge.

Azure Death Domain, just hearing the name reveals the survival difficulties.

However, Chen Wen didn’t think much and now had to focus on his own survival afterward.

This time, he also planned to ask Liu Yu which challenge he would recommend him participate in next.

...

After waiting for a while in Liu Yu’s office.

Liu Yu didn’t return, but instead, his assistant, who had contact with Chen Wen before, Sun, returned first.

Seeing Chen Wen, Sun’s eyes suddenly lit up: ”Hey! How come you’re here?”

Chen Wen chuckled and said: ”According to Mr. Liu, if I don’t come back to report soon, he’ll fire me.”

Upon hearing this, Sun nodded with interest: ”I guess so. Among the five contestants who went out this time, you were the last to come back to report.”

Chen Wen nodded: ”Yeah, didn’t I come too? Just a bit late.”

Sun hummed and walked to Liu Yu’s desk, took out the file placed in the middle of the desk, and handed it to Chen Wen.

”This is prepared for you by Mr. Liu, regarding the subsequent challenges he recommends you participate in.”

Sun continued: ”By the way, you don’t need to worry about Feng Zhong’s matter anymore.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen was taken aback: ”What happened to him?”

”What else?”

Sun showed an angry expression: ”Betraying teammates is one thing, but actively teaming up with foreigners against his own people makes him no different from a traitor!”

”Moreover, he didn’t achieve any results this time, so the association is now settling accounts with him, and he’s waiting for trial. According to Mr. Zhao’s estimate, he’ll be in prison for at least ten years!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen couldn’t help but say: ”So long? Ten years? What other crimes did he commit?”

Sun nodded: ”Many. I only remember Mr. Zhao mentioning using his position for embezzlement and bribery, in a large amount!”

”Oh my, can there be embezzlement and bribery in our association?”

Chen Wen was once again shocked.

In his view, the association, as a civilian organization, had nominal positions like president and vice-president and no real power.

But Sun quickly corrected Chen Wen’s perception.

Eventually, Chen Wen understood how serious Feng Zhong’s crimes were.

While the two chatted casually, Chen Wen also looked at Liu Yu’s recommended subsequent survival challenges.

Considering that after one survival, contestants need to adjust their bodies to restore them to peak condition.

He didn’t recommend Chen Wen participate in the upcoming Sea Extreme Challenge and Mountain Extreme Challenge.

Instead, he recommended Chen Wen participate in the Heat Extreme Challenge, namely survival in the Sahara Desert.

Or the Forest Extreme Challenge, survival in Western Siberian Forest.

The dates for these two challenges are late, one starting in November, the other in December.

This left nearly half a year of downtime.

This made Chen Wen a bit confused.

He asked, ”Isn’t the timing a bit unsuitable? Isn’t the downtime a bit too long?”

Upon hearing, Sun looked over curiously.

But soon she couldn’t help but poke Chen Wen’s rib with her finger: ”Hey, hey! You call that a long downtime?”

”Half a year to adjust your body back to peak condition before tackling challenges is the most prudent! Don’t think that just because you passed the Desert Extreme Challenge, you can easily handle other challenges.”

”You should know, many who completed six challenges failed several times in many challenges before finally succeeding.”

Hearing this, Chen Wen scratched his head.

He really thought so.

But Chen Wen didn’t speak directly, instead asking indirectly: ”What about Hua Yun, which one is she planning to participate in?”

Upon hearing, Sun pointed to the Forest Extreme Challenge and said: ”Hua is waiting for your decision, but she seems more inclined towards the Forest Extreme Challenge.”

Chen Wen shook his head, planning to meet Liu Yu.

Waiting half a year to join a new challenge doesn’t seem very suitable timing.

Therefore, Chen Wen didn’t discuss matters related to challenges further and instead sat at the office, browsing the association’s collected Eight Extremes Challenge information.

...

After waiting for more than an hour.

Liu Yu finally returned.

Upon entering, Liu Yu saw Chen Wen who was flipping through materials.

Liu Yu chuckled and said: ”What? Starting to research the next challenge?”

Chen Wen stood up and smiled: ”Yeah, started researching, and I have some ideas now, just waiting for the president to return for a discussion.”

Liu Yu casually placed his car keys on the desk and asked: ”Oh? What are your ideas? Have you decided which survival to partake in?”

Chen Wen closed the material, full of confidence, and said: ”Mountain Extreme Challenge! Qiangtang survival!”

With a clang.

Sun, who was pouring water for Liu Yu, looked over, showing an expression of surprise: ”Eh? Mountain Extreme Challenge? Isn’t this the challenge that’s about to start?”

Liu Yu also gave Chen Wen an unexpected look and furrowed his brows: ”Don’t joke around, the Mountain Extreme Challenge starts in half a month, registration is within these two days.”

Chen Wen shook his head: ”Not joking, I genuinely have this idea. I’ve just been looking at the relevant materials and information about the Mountain Extreme Challenge. This is the decision I made after comprehensive consideration.”

Liu Yu didn’t speak.

He made two consecutive phone calls.

Not long after, Chen Wen’s two team members, Hua Yun and Xu Qiang, both arrived in the office.

As soon as Hua Yun entered, she couldn’t help but say: ”Getting reckless, Chen, starting already?”

Chen Wen laughed, but didn’t say much.

Xu Qiang also gave Chen Wen a complex look.

This time’s Desert Extreme Challenge served as a serious lesson for Xu Qiang.

Now he didn’t dare underestimate this young commander in front of him.

Xu Qiang said: ”Although I passed the Mountain Extreme Challenge, my luck was relatively good that time, an unexpected situation, my experience isn’t worth referencing, but since the president called me, I’ll say something.”

”Mountain Extreme Challenge is survival in the Qiangtang Wilderness, and I believe you should have seen the specific rules, so I won’t say much, just talk about a few difficulties of the Mountain Extreme Challenge.”

”First, altitude sickness, which is unavoidable, you just have to adapt. When I participated that time, we entered the plateau more than a month in advance to adapt to the environment.”

”Second, intense sunlight, plateau radiation is very severe, this has to be adapted as well.”

”Third, temperature, the plateau’s temperature is always low, there’s no way around this.”
