Wilderness Survival with Druid System

”Everyone.”

Adam looked at the riverbank in the distance, somewhat incredulously, and said, ”If there’s nothing wrong with my eyes, is there... a Jeep over there?”

Jeep?

The others looked over in the direction Adam mentioned, bewildered.

Then everyone took a sharp breath: ”Hiss! It truly is!”

”Could it be that someone had an accident here before?”

Dennis frowned and said.

In his view, besides people like them seeking thrills to survive, only victims would be active near this ghostly place.

Hearing this, the others hesitated a bit.

”Let’s go check it out.”

Hua Yun offered his opinion: ”If it’s victims, let’s not interfere too much, but if there are people still alive, we can help them.”

Hearing this, the others nodded one after another.

They gradually approached the Jeep, with Fred leading the way.

He carried an axe, asking in English if anyone needed help while cautiously observing the situation inside the Jeep.

Adam and Hua Yun were also holding their bows and arrows, constantly surveying the surrounding situation.

Dennis peeked around, observing the nearby riverbottom.

Soon, as Fred arrived beside the vehicle, he frowned and looked at the others: ”No one!”

Adam also said: ”Indeed, no one, and there are no traces of camping or activity around.”

Hua Yun looked at Dennis.

He carefully lifted the camouflage cloth behind the vehicle, and soon, the contents inside made Dennis widen his eyes.

”Is there something going on?”

Hua Yun asked, simultaneously cautiously taking out a bow and arrow.

Dennis shook his head, pulled out the items inside: ”No, but there are quite a few fresh canned goods here.”

Canned goods?

The group was baffled.

What exactly is going on here?

Why is there an abandoned vehicle in such a wilderness, and it’s loaded with so many canned goods?

While the group was puzzled, they also became increasingly vigilant.

However, they didn’t know that this vehicle was actually the off-road vehicle abandoned by Chen Wen, originally belonging to Hunting Owl.

They were unaware that Hunting Owl had driven the vehicle into the plateau; after all, during the attack, Hunting Owl’s vehicle was still at their campsite.

Hua Yun glanced at the canned goods, all quite fresh, even the outer shells were undamaged.

”What’s the plan?”

Hua Yun looked at Adam, as it was mainly the two of them making decisions at the moment.

Adam was also somewhat at a loss.

He thought for a moment and looked around: ”Let’s see if there’s anyone nearby, otherwise if we just take them, it could be a big mistake if someone brought them here.”

The group agreed with Adam’s suggestion and began searching the surrounding area for traces of human presence.

However, after searching for a while, they couldn’t even find footprints.

And Dennis, after conducting a thorough check on the vehicle, reached a conclusion: ”The vehicle must have been abandoned.”

Hearing this, the group was taken aback.

Dennis continued, ”The front right tire is blown, and the rim is severely damaged. The person probably couldn’t drive further, so they stopped here.”

”Moreover, the fuel tank still has fuel, and there’s a full oil barrel on the vehicle.”

”Besides these, I even tried to start the engine, and there seems to be a slight problem, some noise, but I can’t determine the exact issue.”

”All in all, the person must have abandoned the vehicle and left with a certain amount of supplies.”

Listening to Dennis’s analysis, the group nodded one after another.

Seeing everyone agree with his deduction, Dennis said: ”Since that’s the case, we don’t need to think too much about it. Since they abandoned these supplies, we can take them without worry! What do you all think?”

Adam looked at Hua Yun, clearly wanting to take them.

After all, the supplies on this vehicle could ease their current food pressure.

Hua Yun wasn’t exactly a saint; she decisively nodded: ”Take them!”

After getting Hua Yun’s approval, everyone started loading up the canned goods they could take from the vehicle, leaving what they couldn’t.

After collecting the supplies, Hua Yun couldn’t help but sigh in her heart: Whoever parked the car here is really a good person!

...

’Good guy’ Chen Wen sneezed.

At this moment, he was crossing the river with the animals.

”I have to say, although this place is hot, the river water is still a bit cold, and it made me sneeze.”

Chen Wen said.

Dahuang, beside him, mimicked Chen Wen sneezing and curiously asked: ”Is this sneezing?”

”Yes, you mimic it quite well.”

Chen Wen said cheerfully, while his eyes were still scanning the surroundings.

Dahuang wasn’t particularly large in size, so as it crossed the river, two freshwater crocodiles showed interest.

One of the freshwater crocodiles tentatively approached, its eyes full of hunger.

However, with Chen Wen picking up a long spear and fiercely striking the water surface.

The freshwater crocodile’s gaze instantly cleared.

It looked at Chen Wen, gauged the strength difference between them.

Soon, the freshwater crocodile swiftly fled to the distance.

”Haha, this guy’s escape speed and awareness are first-rate, much better than Nile Crocodiles.”

Chen Wen said.

The three animals beside him all looked over.

Dahuang asked: ”Nile Crocodiles? What are they?”

”A type of very large crocodile, I encountered them before in Caprivi. They’re large and fierce, and the main thing is they don’t know fear. Many times, even when they know they can’t defeat you, they still surround you and try to attack...”

Chen Wen recounted his previous experience as if telling a horror story.

Upon hearing this, Dahuang was frightened into tucking its tail.

At this moment, Screaming Kite asked Chen Wen curiously: ”The Nile Crocodile you mentioned, is that the big crocodile over there?”

Chen Wen chuckled, speaking while glancing at the big crocodile Screaming Kite mentioned: ”How can it be? Nile Crocodile wouldn’t be here in such a place, and they are far larger than freshwater crocodiles... Oh s**t!”

As Chen Wen saw the big crocodile Screaming Kite referred to, he couldn’t help but curse.

It’s no wonder Chen Wen reacted this way.

About two hundred meters away, a monstrously large, bloated crocodile was floating on the water surface, slowly approaching.

This creature was over three meters long, almost twice the size of an Australian freshwater crocodile!

Its weight is estimated to be double, perhaps even more!

Upon seeing this crocodile, Chen Wen felt goosebumps rise on his skin.

Not for any other reason, he recognized this type of crocodile!

He had even once hunted this type of crocodile, but that was a long time ago, and it was on an island.

This crocodile was a Bay Crocodile!

Upon seeing the Bay Crocodile, Chen Wen instantly broke out in a cold sweat: ”Quick, let’s get out of the water!”
