Wilderness Survival with Druid System

The staff saw Chen Wen’s expression looked good, and continued, ”But the only downside to this place is that it’s too expensive.”

Hearing this, Chen Wen waved his hand grandly, ”The cost isn’t its problem, it’s my problem, and don’t talk to me about the construction cost, I can’t hear it.”

Upon hearing this, the staff chuckled lightly, expressing understanding towards Chen Wen.

The fifth building simulates the environment of a sparse savanna.

This building is also known as the savanna animal enclosure.

After stepping inside.

The humidity and temperature are somewhat similar to a temperate forest.

But the environment is completely different.

Inside the entire building, there are only two or three trees and a mound, primarily consisting of tall and deep grassland, with a very open view.

The center of the building is a water hole, containing some aquatic plants.

”This animal enclosure seems roughly the same overall, but we divided it into four parts during construction.”

”The trees on the north side can accommodate large predators, the mound on the west side can house burrowing animals, the savanna on the south side can accommodate some herbivores, and the shrubs on the east side can do the same.”

The staff said.

Chen Wen listened and nodded again, the money was truly well spent.

The environment here is extremely similar to Caprivi, it’s even more Caprivi than Caprivi!

...

Entering the sixth building, the Polar High Latitude Animal Enclosure.

This building is quite special.

Opening the door reveals a changing room.

”This is a dedicated passage for human access, the animal pathway is on the other side.”

The staff explained, indicating for Chen Wen to put on the cold protection suit.

Once dressed, everyone entered the real animal enclosure.

Upon entering, Chen Wen immediately felt a chill come over him.

Someone among the staff even sneezed twice.

Entering the room, the entire room has a cold color tone.

The room can roughly be divided into two parts.

One part is a glacier, the other part is rocks and snow, close to the door there’s even a meadow only seen in polar regions.

After sneezing, the staff explained, ”For this animal enclosure, we used insulated walls and the most advanced cooling systems, the room temperature can reach as low as minus forty degrees, the glacier was shipped over from the polar regions, the Glacier Zone even has some pools, and the water there is melted glacier water.”

”In addition, we also built vertical cliff walls on the northwest side for bird nesting. Like the highland animal enclosure, this one can simulate strong polar region winds, the room is also equipped with UV lights, and various other lightings. It can even simulate polar day and polar night environments.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen took a deep breath again.

Damn it, has modern technology advanced to such a degree?

”Furthermore, Mr. Chen Wen, we offer reasonably priced upgrade services for all high-tech equipment here. If certain academies or research groups develop more advanced equipment, we can handle the contact, upgrade, and installation at very reasonable prices!”

The staff marketed enthusiastically.

Chen Wen nodded, indicating he understood.

...

The seventh building, the Tropical Rainforest Animal Enclosure.

This enclosure looks somewhat repetitive to the swamp area, but according to the staff, it can also house animals that survive in subtropical forests.

The room contains transplanted trees and vegetation, tall trees and branches filled with the breath of nature.

Among the trees are also many ferns and vines.

”Your commissioner opted for a vertical multi-layer design for this enclosure, roughly dividing it into canopy, middle layer, ground layer, and underground layer.”

The staff introduced the design features: ”The canopy layer can accommodate birds and monkeys, the middle layer can house reptiles, the ground layer is a home for small mammals and insects, and the underground features artificial caves for subterranean species, maximizing the use of vertical space.”

Chen Wen listened and nodded repeatedly.

”Additionally, there are streams on the ground, and the room is equipped with humidifiers and mist systems to simulate the rainforest environment. If the environment needs to change, the climate control system can transform the tropical rainforest into a subtropical rainforest. The vegetation here has been carefully selected, and the plants are very resilient!”

The staff continued.

Chen Wen nodded again.

It must be said, the staff’s eloquence is quite good, every word speaks to Chen Wen’s heart.

...

Soon, the last animal enclosure appeared before Chen Wen.

The sign read ”Freshwater-Saltwater Animal Enclosure.”

Chen Wen saw this room and was momentarily surprised.

Upon opening the door, it revealed a large expanse of water, with only a cruciform metal walkway above the water for pedestrian access.

The staff introduced, ”This animal enclosure is divided into two parts, freshwater area and saltwater area, the two areas do not interfere with each other. The left side is the freshwater zone, which can host some freshwater fish species, while the right side’s saltwater zone directly connects to the ocean. A channel is equipped with a filter to prevent ocean animals from entering, the bottom is covered with coral reefs and various seafloor plants transported from the ocean. Of course, the freshwater zone also has some aquatic plants.”

Through the clear water surface, Chen Wen instantly saw the bottom of both parts.

Very nice!

”That’s all for the overview.”

The staff said, ”Moreover, the glass ceilings of some enclosures can be opened, for the animals to enjoy sunlight, apart from these, we also installed many small devices to make the animals’ lives more comfortable. Your commissioner has already prepared a report, they will introduce it to you later.”

Chen Wen nodded.

His commissioners altogether number five.

One is Jiang Xue, who is very proficient in environmental enrichment as the zoo’s director, responsible for the island’s overall design; another is Lv Guocheng, his trusted partner from the island survival period, a seasoned businessman helping Chen Wen with financial and architectural issues; there is also Belmont, who is in charge of supervising; the remaining two are internationally renowned zoo designers.

This team is exceptionally strong.

And a considerable portion of these high-tech facilities were arranged by Lv Guocheng.

They should be about ready by now.

After bidding farewell to the staff, Chen Wen planned to meet with them.

...

After leaving several animal enclosures, Chen Wen quickly walked towards the house in the middle.

In front of the door, Edmond was already waiting here.

He looked at Chen Wen with a smile covering his face, ”Let’s go, they’ve been waiting for quite some time.”

Chen Wen nodded and went inside with Edmond.

In the living room.

Chen Wen immediately saw Lv Guocheng talking with Jiang Xue about something.

And Belmont nearby with a smile on his face.

The two designers were looking at the drawings, seemingly having some debate.

Upon hearing Chen Wen’s approaching footsteps, everyone looked over.

The two designers were naturally respectful towards the generous, kind-hearted client.

Belmont winked at Chen Wen, seeming to have something to say.

Chen Wen returned a glance.

He previously discussed with Belmont that the two bet on Chen Wen.

If everything goes smoothly, the two can earn a little profit.

Lv Guocheng, on the side, had a look as if watching a junior.

Jiang Xue beside him smiled, also looking with a friend’s gaze.

”Hello everyone.”

Chen Wen said with a smile, ”I just checked the buildings here, and I’m very satisfied. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s help!”

The two designers were a bit reserved, quickly uttering some humble words.

The remaining three familiar faces didn’t say much more.

After a few simple polite exchanges, the meeting entered the main topic.
