The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 941: Chapter 941: Nathalie, The Vest is Off

Amadeus Yancey rested his hand on the table, rhythmically tapping his fingers, leaning back with his shoulders relaxed, and watched the girl beside him without blinking. He asked her, ”What do you think? Are you going to eat this meal?”

He probably understood Mr. Avalon’s intentions.

It’s not easy for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department to have produced a talent like Nathalie Quinlan. If he were in their shoes, he would probably be unable to resist showing off.

Old Master Cadmus even called him, asking him to bring Nathalie Quinlan back for dinner that night.

Nathalie Quinlan had just finished eating the beef tripe he had prepared for her. She was a bit full and put down her chopsticks again, swinging her legs with a lazy and scattered look: ”It depends. I will see when the time comes. I may not have time.”

The two exchanged words, leaving Sadam Vinson utterly baffled, prompting him to butt in and ask, ”Miss Qiao, who is your teacher?”

He pondered for a moment. Because of Nathalie Quinlan, although he wasn’t very familiar with Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, at the very least he knew of two people.

He thought Nathalie Quinlan was referring to Winston Sullivan, the dean of Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department.

Winston Sullivan was someone he had heard of; not as tactful and flexible as his contemporaries Derliand Gober and Adelle Wafford, and a bit too rigid in nature.

It’s a pity for a prodigy like Nathalie to end up in his hands.

”I actually know...” Just as he was about to ask if it was Winston Sullivan, since he knew a Chinese Medicine master better than Winston Sullivan...

Off to the side, Alfred Garland intoned to interrupt him: ”Ahem, Mr. Vinson. You don’t need to introduce anyone. Ms. Quinlan’s teacher of Chinese Medicine is Mr. Avalon, and Mr. Norton is her teacher for her minor subject.”

”...” Sadam Vinson’s ”I know a few people” got stuck in his throat and was hard to swallow.

And looking at Nathalie, that look in her eyes was simply incredible!

What kind of divine girl is this.

He knew Mr. Norton; he had attended Mr. Norton’s birthday banquet and saw Mr. Norton introduce Nathalie to people in the Beijing circle.

But the problem is... her teacher of Chinese Medicine is Mr. Avalon???

Qing University has just two honorary professors. Regardless of whether it’s Shawn Norton or Mr. Avalon, both are master-level figures in their fields who have not taken any students for a very long time! Both of them happen to be Nathalie’s teachers???

That’s... overly impressive.

Forget Sadam Vinson, after listening to Alfred Garland’s popular science, Nadya Tucker and the others looked at Nathalie, and everyone went silent!

They instantly understood why Nathalie’s teachers could ask her to join the Medical Association.

A student of Mr. Avalon, who would dare to disagree with Mr. Avalon wanting to bring her into the Medical Association?

Even Adelle Wafford would not have the authority to refuse.

Alfred Garland felt that wasn’t enough, his face expressionless and stern, as he added another stab to Sadam Vinson’s heart: ”Master Cadmus also said he would like Nathalie to join his laboratory, but Nathalie refused. Ms. Quinlan said she didn’t have time and couldn’t spare a moment.”

”??” Sadam Vinson turned to look at Nathalie, his expression priceless.

The Master Cadmus that Alfred Garland mentioned is from The Ninth Institute, which is always mysterious and low-key in their actions, many people outside are not well-informed about The Ninth Institute.

Nadya Tucker and the others didn’t know who Master Cadmus was, but judging by Sadam Vinson’s face color, they guessed that Cadmus must be a big shot not inferior to Mr. Avalon or Mr. Norton. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be entitled to the nickname ’master’.

Nathalie, however, wasn’t paying attention to their conversation. She checked the phone message from Silvania Ingram, then turned her head to the man next to her and said, ”I won’t go singing with you guys after eating. I’ve got something to work on.”

She had been busy with exams recently, and right after the college entrance examinations, she performed surgery for Uncle Cagwin. It’s been a year, and she hadn’t found time to create a new design draft for seven. Even Mrs. Ingram had urged her, so today she had to take the time to get one done.
