The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 915: Chapter 915: Amadeus: Go to a movie this afternoon?

He walked away, and Amadeus Yancey, rubbing his forehead, just happened to see a girl in a changed sweater coming down from upstairs. She wasn’t wearing a hat this time, probably just had a shower, her skin like white porcelain glaze, flushed pink, tempting and eye-catching.

”I need to hole up and study this week.” Nathalie Quinlan said succinctly as soon as she arrived: ”I’m going to participate in a competition, I’ve never been in this kind of contest before, so I need to read some books, study a bit.”

She didn’t mention it, but Amadeus Yancey had actually already looked up the competition she was going to attend.

Just watching the girl walk past him, she picked up the glass of water he had left on the table, apparently not noticing, unscrewed the cap, tilted her head back and gulped down a large portion of it, then capped the bottle again, her lips glistening, her dark eyes looking at him, raising the bottle, ”This isn’t your water, is it?”

Amadeus Yancey smiled, his thin lips lifted high, his good mood written all over his face, but he always gave off a carefree, disheveled feel, lazy yet enticing: ”Ah, whether it’s mine or not, you’ve already drunk it, does it make a difference?”

”...” Nathalie Quinlan thought for a moment, it seemed there really was no difference.

Just then, feeling a bit of an itch in her throat, she unscrewed the cap again and finished the little bit of water left in the bottle, putting the bottle back on the table.

Walking over to the sofa, she sat down, legs draped over it, her jeans hugging her even and straight legs, holding her phone, seemingly about to start a game, a very casual action at home, yet in the eyes of others, it looked like... a crime!

Amadeus Yancey couldn’t understand why he was always so easily attracted to her, his eyes darkened, he walked over, his hand covering the horizontally held phone, his voice husky and low, carrying a seductive tone: ”Are you free?”

Nathalie Quinlan was already on the game screen.

Suddenly, a hand blocked it, she looked up only to crash into his deep, starry eyes, her heart involuntarily skipped a beat, her whole body leaned back, her jet-black eyelashes also obscured her eyes, a hint of wildness at the edge: ”Um, I’ve ordered a few books that won’t arrive until tomorrow, so I’m free for now.”

She paused for a moment, then looked at him again, her expression calm: ”Do you need something?”

Amadeus Yancey laughed when she asked, suddenly got closer, his devilishly attractive face oppressively close, their breaths suddenly mingling ambiguously, his voice quite hoarse, but his eyes smiling, his gaze enchantingly fluid: ”Nathalie, have you forgotten something? Even though I’m in the internship period, shouldn’t you give some benefits?”

”?” Nathalie Quinlan was blocked on the sofa, her entire body nestled inside, her back neck arched, exposing a delicate face, though her expression looked quite innocent: ”Ah? What benefits?”

”Like...” Amadeus Yancey looked at her freshly hydrated red lips after drinking water, his gaze intensifying for a second, his body unmoved, raising his hand, his fingertip touching her lips.

The tip of his finger was slightly rough, but the stroke was gentle...

Nathalie Quinlan’s shoulders suddenly froze, her body didn’t move, but it was obvious her whole nerves were tensed.

Amadeus Yancey felt that the girl wasn’t exactly resisting, but was restraining her own tenseness, his gaze darkened again, and he withdrew his hand.

”Since you’re free, how about going to see a movie this afternoon?”

He was as if nothing had happened, returning to the high and proud son of a distinguished family look.

The girl narrowed her eyes sharply, her pure black-and-white eyes looking at him, out of the blue she blurted: ”I didn’t sleep well last night.”

Amadeus Yancey: ”Hmm?”

He knew about it, she had mentioned before getting on the airplane that her sleeping pills were finished, she had only slept three hours last night.
