The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 929: Chapter 929: Why Hasn’t Nathalie’s Score Changed

”I heard it’s from the Chinese Medicine Department, no wonder nobody wants to study there year after year...”

”That Nathalie Quinlan is a student from Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, oh, that explains it.”

The name of Nathalie Quinlan and Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department are tightly bound together, constantly brought up by people, criticizing not only the last place score but also taking the opportunity to criticize the Chinese Medicine Department.

Winston Sullivan sat uneasily in his seat, his face tense, staring fixedly at the continuously refreshing scores on the LED screen.

Nathalie Quinlan, still last.

Still last.

Still last.

Twenty minutes have passed, the LED screen has refreshed 7 times, no matter how intense the battle for first place between Caryn Zachmann and Evelyn Quarles is, Nathalie Quinlan’s name seems to forever occupy the last page, the very last name.

Rank 066, Nathalie Quinlan, Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, 18 points.

The total score for the first round of the written test is 60 points, now first place Evelyn Quarles already has 39 points, second place Caryn Zachmann is also closely behind with 32 points, and the remaining third and fourth places are closely competing... the gap in scores gets smaller further down the ranking...

However, this phenomenon changes abruptly when it gets to the second last and last place.

Rank 065, Daphne Wiltsey, Santonia University Medical Department, 26 points.

Rank 066, Nathalie Quinlan, refreshes again, Winston Sullivan almost wishes he could stand up to see more clearly.

However.

points.

It didn’t go up by a single point!

Winston Sullivan, harboring great hopes, now feels an equally great disappointment, his whole body slumps as he closes his eyes, almost not daring to look at the LED screen above.

Not a trace of color on his face.

Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, following Nathalie Quinlan’s name, seemed as if it was publicly executed at the top of the venue, and even though he was mentally prepared for Nathalie to take last place, he didn’t expect the loss to be this embarrassing.

Second last and third last have only a 1 point difference, but Nathalie has an 8 point gap with the second last!

Outperformed by second last!

That’s too embarrassing.

”Mr. Sullivan, don’t take it too hard. Nathalie is just a freshman, even if she has some potential in medicine, she hasn’t studied systematically, this score is not unexpected, she still has potential to be cultivated.”

Adelle Wafford’s face initially looked upset with the numbers refreshing on the LED screen, especially seeing the overseas representative Evelyn Quarles scoring higher than Caryn Zachmann, she felt bad, but seeing the name of Chinese Medicine Department and Nathalie Quinlan still at the last place, she rested her chin on her hand and a hypocritical smile appeared as she turned to comfort Winston Sullivan.

”It’s just a pity... Nathalie did well in her exams, normally if she enrolled normally, everyone would have had expectations, now her title as the national top scorer is ruined...”

She spoke with regret, yet her tone was not regretful, her eyes looked up at the LED screen as if enjoying a spectacle, with a cold and mocking tone.

Rank 066 refreshed, still Nathalie Quinlan.

Still 18 points.

According to the frequency of the large screen refreshing every three minutes, Nathalie Quinlan’s score appearing twice in a row at 18 points without changes, indicating either she didn’t solve any question in these 6 minutes, or she got everything she did wrong.

Either way, Adelle Wafford was pleased to watch this spectacle!

*

”Damn, still 18 points, Amadeus, is the screen broken? Everyone else’s scores are changing, why is Nathalie’s score completely unchanged.”
