The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 903: Chapter 903: Want Nathalie to Stay in a Four-Star Hotel

So much money, yet Nathalie Quinlan had only bought a few unbranded medicine tablets for grandpa a few times throughout the year in McKinney.

Only about four or five bottles in total.

So shabby it couldn’t get any shabbier!

...

Nathalie Quinlan, with her eyebrows furrowed, lowered her hand and did not answer his question, only saying, ”The medicine bought from a small pharmacy in McKinney isn’t available in Beijing. It’s fine, I’ll buy more for grandpa after he finishes this. It won’t cost much.”

Leonardy Zachmann held the medicine bottle, actually wanting to ask what health product it was, but hearing her say this, he moved his mouth, didn’t say anything, and then asked, ”By the way, tonight...”

He originally wanted Nathalie Quinlan to stay at their home.

But on second thought, remembering grandpa’s earlier mention of not planning to let Nathalie stay with them and wanting to buy her a separate house outside...

And thinking about what his wife and daughter had done today, he felt somewhat embarrassed and guilty, and his voice dropped, ”Is the hotel booked? Where will you stay, do you want me to book it for you?”

In fact, Nathalie’s father wasn’t residing at The Zachmanns’ Mansion either as he had a separate place but encountered some issues abroad and couldn’t return in time for Nathalie’s academic celebration.

As her great-uncle, he didn’t feel it was right to overstep Nathalie’s biological father’s arrangements to have her stay there.

Audrick Zachmann... had a special identity, and Beijing had many paparazzi, unlike the tranquil McKinney.

If Nathalie stayed with Audrick, it could easily lead to unwanted photos and unnecessary conflict.

After much thought, Leonardy Zachmann realized he could only arrange for his niece to stay in a hotel, and even considered this his best available option. He felt guilty admitting it, but the situation was too complex, and with grandpa drunk, he could only arrange it temporarily.

”There’s a star-rated hotel near our home, why don’t you stay there?” Celine Tucker spoke up then, her voice sounding gentle and kind, as if she truly meant well.

But those familiar with Beijing knew the hotel she mentioned hardly met five-star standards.

At most a four-star hotel.

The Zachmann family held a prominent position in Beijing, and Caryn Zachmann was highly regarded in their circle. For her, Celine, as Nathalie’s aunt, to suggest a four-star hotel, seemed rather disrespectful.

Sadam Vinson’s expression turned visibly unpleasant at this, wanting to say something, but he then forcibly suppressed it.

Damn, that really pisses me off! What does Celine Tucker mean, that Nathalie only deserves a four-star hotel, not even worthy of a five-star in her eyes?

Celine Tucker appeared magnanimous, seemingly unaware of any issue with her words, and further explained softly, ”Mainly because that’s the better hotel nearby, the other hotels are either too poor or too far. I think just stay there, we’ll book a better room.”

The proximity to home swayed Leonardy Zachmann, who hesitated and sought Nathalie’s opinion, ”Nathalie, what do you think?”

The girl adjusted her hat brim, just as her phone rang, displaying a call from Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department. She glanced at it but didn’t answer.

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes deepened, his fingertips again touching the Buddhist beads, imperceptibly rotating them, and he immediately observed the girl’s reaction, stepping in front of her, his tone smooth yet cold: ”No need, she won’t stay at the hotel, she’ll stay at my place.”

She won’t stay at the hotel, she’ll stay at my place!

With that statement, not just Celine Tucker but Leonardy Zachmann were both stunned.

They instinctively looked towards Nathalie Quinlan.
