The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 931: Chapter 931: Directly Rushed to the First Page

”I didn’t see it, I’m also looking. Nathalie isn’t on the last page!” After rummaging for quite a while, Sadam Vinson confirmed Nathalie Quinlan’s name wasn’t there, his face full of astonishment: ”What’s going on? Does Nathalie not deserve a name? The last one isn’t worthy of being listed?”

Even Govert Griffin, who’s usually very astute, was trying to pay extra attention to changes in the rankings so he could discuss them with Sadam Vinson and Amadeus Yancey, but he didn’t see where Nathalie Quinlan’s name went either.

Suddenly, he was also stunned, staring at the screen overhead and searching for a long time, but there was no one. The last page simply didn’t have Nathalie Quinlan’s name.

He mustered up the courage to ask the man who looked the calmest among the few people there, lowering his voice and saying, ”Amadeus, did you see Ms. Quinlan’s ranking?”

”I saw it,” replied Amadeus Yancey, his eyes deep-set, with a lethargic answer.

Everyone’s gaze immediately focused on him.

Sadam Vinson: ”Which place?”

Alfred Garland didn’t ask aloud, but his face expressed his eager desire to know.

The big screen displayed ten people on each page, and since there were only 66 participants, the last page only showed 6 people.

Ms. Quinlan’s name wasn’t on the last page, which meant she was at least in the antepenultimate place!

Being seventh from the last is still better than being last!

Far beyond his expectation.

Alfred Garland had predicted that Nathalie Quinlan would be either eighth or ninth from last. Little did he think, Amadeus Yancey, stretching his long legs and leaning back casually, said calmly and succinctly to the few people: ”Rank 33, 31 points.”

Govert Griffin: ”...”

Sadam Vinson: ”...”

The three of them fell silent.

It was Alfred Garland whose mouth twitched slightly, more world-wise and quicker to react, his throat dry as he forced out, ”Ahem...that’s Ms. Quinlan’s style.”

It should be said that’s the style of a boss!

From last place to the middle with one refresh, and just now, in his mind, he guessed the boss was either eighth or ninth from the bottom, tsk, too hasty!

He forgot that Ms. Quinlan and Amadeus were cut from the same cloth.

The world of the boss, he doesn’t belong!

Nathalie Quinlan’s score was climbing rapidly.

At first, only a small number of people noticed the changes in Nathalie Quinlan’s ranking, with others more focused on the changes in the top ten.

Especially when Evelyn Quarles remained in first place, her score proudly towering above the others, the folks from the Medical Association all looked very solemn.

Adelle Wafford didn’t have the heart to bother Winston Sullivan, watching the gap between first and second place growing wider, she became increasingly anxious.

Several times she felt restless, wishing she could go up there and take Caryn Zachmann’s place to answer the questions.

While she was impatiently waiting for every score refresh, a name quietly appeared on the first page.

10th place, Nathalie Quinlan, Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, 39 points.

”Nathalie Quinlan? 39 points?” Adelle Wafford was stunned when she first saw the refreshed ranking, not reacting right away: ”Wasn’t she last?”

The other judges had the same thought as her; none of them noticed the changes further down the ranking, so they didn’t see Nathalie Quinlan’s score surge each time it was refreshed...

By the time they looked again, Nathalie Quinlan’s name had already reached the top ten.

She appeared on the first page like a dark horse!

”What’s happening?”

”Did the background system glitch?”

”Is the data on the screen incorrect? How did the last place jump to the first page.”

The venue was also filled with discussions, the atmosphere that Evelyn Quarles had silenced was now buzzing again...

”Isn’t the Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department not up to par? Damn, her score is going up fast.”
