The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 932: Chapter 932: Get 10 Points in 3 Minutes!

”Who the hell is Nathalie Quinlan? I’ve never heard of her before. Where did she suddenly come from? Was she a part of Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department before?”

”This year’s national Top Scholar in the College Entrance Examination. For a top student like her... I never thought she’d be the last one, but making it to the top ten in the first round of the medical competition before even officially starting freshman year is too thrilling!”

The voices in the venue gradually grew louder.

On stage, the girl casually worked on the problems, seemingly detached from her surroundings, uninterested in anything around her.

She had already finished more than half of the problems on the paper, and her accuracy rate displayed on the computer was 100%.

This terrifying number wouldn’t show on the big screen, but Nathalie Quinlan could see it herself. She didn’t care, though, her eyes moved onto the next question.

Reading the questions, answering them, her cold and sharp jawline fluid with intelligence, her movements slow and methodical, not at all flustered. It’s as if hundreds of people watching her were irrelevant, just like doing homework at home, no sign of nervousness or anxiety could be seen on her...

The lens ’wisely’ gave the girl another close-up.

The girl seemed to feel the camera in her face again, and this time, without lifting her head, she pressed the brim of her cap down in annoyance.

Annoying.

...

006, Nathalie Quinlan, Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, 43 points.

Another refresh.

003, Nathalie Quinlan, Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, 46 points.

In a blink of an eye, after two refreshes, Nathalie Quinlan’s name had already appeared right behind Caryn Zachmann.

Caryn Zachmann was currently in second place with 48 points, only two points more than Nathalie Quinlan—an almost certain bet that Nathalie would surpass her.

Adelle Wafford’s mouth gaped open at the rapid changes, unable to regain her senses, and she blurted out subconsciously: ”Could there be a mistake with Nathalie Quinlan’s results? The background staff should check this...”

However, the line of judges paid no attention to her.

The Medical Association had originally pinned its hopes on Caryn Zachmann this year, hoping she could curb the enthusiasm of the foreign representatives.

But reality hit hard when Caryn Zachmann was out of breath trying to keep up with Evelyn Quarles in just the first round, let alone expecting anything from the second round.

As for the third round, it’s just a formality; the last 10 points for performance wouldn’t typically be too harshly awarded by the judges—usually just a difference of one or two, or two or three points, a negligible amount.

Nathalie Quinlan, like a dark horse, had emerged from the crowd, evidently possessing the capital to compete with Evelyn Quarles. Who would listen to her and trouble their own people?

Caryn Zachmann had just one last problem to write, blocked on that problem for ten minutes now—it involved knowledge of joints and bones, her weakest area. She didn’t know how to write it at all, completely lacking a problem-solving approach. But she dared not write randomly or give up; otherwise, her gap with Evelyn Quarles would only widen... Annoyed and distracted, she also kept a watchful eye on the ranking refreshes.

When she saw that Nathalie Quinlan was now just one place below her, with only a 2-point difference, she froze for a second.

Just then, the background system refreshed the scores again.

001, Evelyn Quarles, Overseas Medicine, 57 points.

002, Nathalie Quinlan, Qing University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, 56 points.

003, Caryn Zachmann...

The venue erupted.

”Holy shit, what’s happening here, no one told me I was watching a medical competition, I thought I was watching an LOL Game.”

”Nathalie Quinlan is only one point behind the foreign medical representative. Caryn Zachmann, on the other hand, is left with an 8-point gap. That is to say, Nathalie Quinlan scored 10 points in three minutes! This... hasn’t happened since the medical competition began.”
