The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 907: Chapter 907: Amadeus: Can Also Stay in One Room

However...

Alfred Garland glanced at the middle-aged man and silently withdrew his line of sight.

Only two lousy elements in Zachmann Family, the others are all fine.

For Ms. Quinlan’s high-school promotion party, Leonardy Zachmann indeed put in a lot of effort. All in all, Ms. Quinlan didn’t misplace her friendship.

After leaving Imperial Hotel, Sadam Vinson, Govert Griffin, and others went their separate ways.

Nathalie Quinlan followed Amadeus Yancey to Rhine Apartment.

The apartment was where she stayed during her entrance exams at Tsinghua University. It’s not like Amadeus doesn’t own other properties in Beijing, he simply didn’t want her to adjust to a new environment and it was also close to Tsinghua’s campus, so he didn’t change the place.

Let Alfred Garland drive to Rhine.

Throughout the journey, Nathalie seemed preoccupied, her phone constantly receiving messages, her head bowed the whole time replying to messages.

Amadeus didn’t bother her, just occasionally playing with her fingers, sometimes pinching them, which made Nathalie more irritable; she glanced at him sideways several times, but he pretended not to see.

That nonchalant demeanor of his, in Alfred Garland’s eyes, was simply unbearable!

Finally, they reached their living place, the Hongqi Sedan drove straight in.

Nathalie wasn’t visiting Amadeus’s apartment in Beijing for the first time. Upon arriving, she casually, with her single shoulder bag, asked, ”Am I staying in the same room as before?”

Amadeus’s apartment was not small; aside from the necessary three bedrooms, there were also two guest rooms, plus a complete set of living room and dining room.

The decorative style was modern and understated luxury, revealing taste.

For instance, the sofa casually placed in the living room, black, didn’t look specially designed, but Nathalie recognized it; she had seen the same type of sofa online on a luxury website abroad, the price tagged enough to buy a small house on the outskirts of Beijing.

The price of the sofa was not the point; the point is that this kind of luxury brand sofas wouldn’t be shipped to China, that is to say, if you want to use it, you have to have your own airplane to bring it over...

She only glanced at the living room’s sofa and withdrew her gaze, after all, it wasn’t her first time here, she had lived here for a few days before and was quite familiar with everything.

”Suit yourself.” Amadeus, after changing into slippers, looking a bit lazy, came in, went to the fridge to get her a bottle of water, handed it to her, then with lowered eyes and brows said, ”You can choose any room here. Whichever you want is fine.”

”Any room is fine?” Nathalie raised her eyebrows, looking at him sideways with a mischievous gaze, seeming to have something to say.

Could she stay in his room too?

She originally wanted to say this, just for fun, but thinking about how someone’s increasingly reckless behavior recently, she held back.

Unbeknownst to her, it seemed like he had read her mind and with a slight smile, his voice rather hoarse said: ”The master bedroom is fine too, my room just happens to be big enough for two.”

”...” Just as Nathalie took the water from his hand, her fingers suddenly tightened, speechless from his forwardness, she didn’t drink the water, returned it to him and said: ”I’ll stay in the original room.”

Like escaping: ”...I’ll go put away my stuff first.”

Amadeus looked at the water back in his hand, bowed his head, smiled faintly, his mood seeming quite good, went back, and put the water on the table.

Alfred Garland silently watched the whole process of Amadeus teasing Ms. Quinlan, pursed his lips slightly, and quietly smacked his mouth.

The word ’shameless’ sometimes really fits Amadeus.
