The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 390: Chapter 390: Actually in the Same Examination Room_1

This year, Tsinghua University’s independent recruitment offers 10 more spots than in previous years, hence the unusually high number of applicants. Essentially, anyone with a bit of confidence in their academic performance has come to participate, all wishing to test their abilities. Even if they don’t succeed, it will still be an experience for when they take the university entrance exam later.

Ghania Quinlan picked up her admission card number at the security checkpoint and went to find her examination room.

Her examination room was on the first floor.

1-201-08

After looking around, she quickly found classroom number 201, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.

Most seats in the examination room were already taken; everyone had arrived, each student seizing the time to either check their pencil cases or pull out practice books to memorize formulae and vocabulary one last time.

Her seat was the eighth one in the second row.

Ghania Quinlan noticed that her seat was near the door, and she was flanked by bespectacled boys who seemed quite honest. Only the seat diagonally in front of her was empty, the person yet to arrive.

She left her backpack at the temporary storage area at the front, took her pencil case and practice book, and hurried back to her seat, eager to seize the last few moments to study.

Self-recruitment exams can’t possibly last several days, and Tsinghua University is no exception.

Tsinghua University’s independent recruitment exam always directly issues a comprehensive test paper that includes questions from Language, Mathematics, Foreign Language, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, and Politics, with a total score of 650 points. Although there are fewer questions than in the entrance exam, each question carries a much higher weight.

After all, the test is designed to select outstanding students from among the top scorers, and the application problems are based on Olympiad standards.

The exam lasts four hours, with students having the option to submit their papers after two hours if they choose.

Some students, daunted by the difficulty of the paper and feeling doubtful about their chances, opt to submit their papers early, a rule that can be seen as humane.

Otherwise, being forced to sit there for four hours without being able to write anything would be akin to torture.

”Mathematical, Mathematical, m/a/t/h...” Ghania Quinlan sat there, intensely memorizing the words her tutor had summarized for her, while also flipping through her practice book to see where she still wasn’t sure, making the most of the final minutes in case those topics came up in the exam.

Just then.

Two invigilators entered the classroom, carrying the test papers from the doorway.

The people in the examination room promptly put away the things in their hands and started to get up to place them in the temporary storage area on the lectern.

Ghania Quinlan also closed the material she had in her hand, got up to return her things to her backpack, and retook her seat. As she did so, she glanced up and caught sight of the figure that had followed the two invigilators in.

Her eyes narrowed to pinpricks, and she almost couldn’t control a scream in that instant.

Nathalie Quinlan?!

The last person to enter the examination room had a rebellious air about them, head down, absorbed in their phone, seemingly replying to a message.

Their fair, delicate face appeared nonchalant,

It looked less like they were there for the exam and more as if they had come to unwind.

She had just made it inside when Nathalie Quinlan moved her eyebrows and seemed to realize she’d arrived at her location. She looked up briefly, slid her phone into her black single shoulder bag, then took out a pencil case from the bag along with her admission card, and headed towards the seat for the test.

Ghania Quinlan watched, eyes wide open, as she pulled out the chair in the position diagonally in front of her and sat down.

She placed her pencil case on the edge of the table, her fingers resting on the surface, but from start to finish, she didn’t glance in Ghania’s direction, seemingly unaware that she was also in the examination room.

Ghania took a deep breath, then another, never having imagined she would be in the same examination room as Nathalie Quinlan!

At that moment, the bell signaling the start of the exam had already rung.
