The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 369: Chapter 369: How come this IP address is the same as Amadeus’ apartment_1

She kept thinking about this matter, becoming more and more upset, as if there were an ant crawling on her body, the itch piercing deep into her bones.

Caryn Zachmann stared at the computer screen where the data for the new song ”Phoenix” kept climbing. She gripped the mouse tightly, then let go, only to grip it again. Finally, she couldn’t contain her restlessness and picked up her phone, scrolling through to find a phone number.

It took a long time for the call to go through.

With her eyelashes lowered, Caryn spoke in a gentle voice to the person on the other end, ”Hello, Mr. Hoffman, could you help me look up someone? Nothing has happened, but I just want to know who this person is... I’ll send you ’his’ ID. ’He’ just uploaded a new song online, and you should be able to track the IP address now... Thank you, uncle, for the trouble.”

After hanging up the phone, she breathed a sigh of relief, her short hair covering her eyebrows, and those proud apricot eyes filled with too much dissatisfaction and gloominess.

The Zachmann family was different from ordinary households, with quite a few connections in gray areas.

The person she had just contacted appeared to be very ordinary, but in reality, he was one of the best hackers in the country.

His skill with computers was not his strongest suit. The most impressive thing about him was that he knew people from the Red Alliance.

Everyone in her family respected him greatly, and even she had to address him politely as uncle.

For anything not terribly important, her father would repeatedly tell her not to trouble others, but this time, she really couldn’t help herself.

She was using family connections that even her family hesitated to use to look up an insignificant IP. She was being presumptuous and if her family found out, they would surely reprimand her.

Caryn Zachmann sat restlessly waiting for a reply, checking her phone from time to time.

It’s hard to tell how long it’s been. It felt like a century. Finally, her phone screen lit up with a new message.

”It’s here.” She eagerly opened the message and saw the address that Lincoln Hoffman had sent her. She was stunned.

Her crimson lips moved in disbelief, reading out an address, ”Beijing, Rhine Street, Rhine Apartments?”

She was familiar with this address. Amadeus Yancey had a bachelor apartment there, and she had once followed Audrick Zachmann to go there for fun.

Doesn’t this door number look very similar to Amadeus’s apartment address?

The fact that Lighten Chaser was in Beijing was already surprising enough, staying at Rhine Apartments... Everyone knew that most of the residents at Rhine Apartments came from illustrious backgrounds with Big Yard connections.

Caryn Zachmann was lost in thought when, just then, another new message came in.

[Lincoln Hoffman: I made a mistake just now. It’s not Rhine Apartments No. 1008. I rechecked and tracked the ID you gave me. The correct address should be Orchard Residence No.1, next to Rhine Apartments. I’ve sent you the corrected IP address information.]

Soon after, she received another new IP address, and as Lincoln Hoffman had said, it wasn’t Rhine Apartments but a housing complex next to it.

The properties in that area were not cheap.

Orchard Residence No.1 was not cheap either; an apartment there cost about nine figures but in Beijing, money was never the problem. What was frightening was the identity and power behind it.

Seeing the new address sent to her, Caryn’s heart relaxed, and she put her worries back in her stomach, her complexion also appeared much better.

She thought so, how could Lighten Chaser possibly live in Rhine Apartments, and also with a door number so similar to Amadeus Yancey’s apartment? It must have been a mistake!

Yet, knowing that Lighten Chaser was in Beijing, and possibly even a resident of Beijing, still did not sit well with Caryn.
